Also how bad was the corrosion
noticeable ... so much so, that i would never sell a product with nichrome60 ... the nichrome80 always looks brand spanking new.

Here my progress:
Also i'm thinking a lot of people already own a controller so I'm thinking to sell only the vaporizer and you'll have to connect it to your own controller. I know there is 110v and 220v coils, is there some other reason a coil doesn't work with every controller?
Yes , to be honnest I was slightly worry I made a mistake but the better t° control, the conduction/convection aspect, easier to use dry, double decker and smooth clouds convinced me it was the right choice!Nice work @PPN! Must mean something to be selling your Herbo Ti like you said could happen!
Doesn’t sound like the fuse specifically ... but something causing the fuse to blow ... the s the heater heating up at all? Maybe a short in your heater coil that appears as it heats up?Hi, I got some issues with my power converter and controller.
After a few months being unused (summer) I tried to power my Volute. I powered on the power converter first and the controller after... it started to heat up for a few seconds before to shut down!
I checked and saw both fuses of the power converter and the controller was dead.
I replaced them but the power converter was a 2A fuse and I only got a 2.5A fuse, controller was 5A. I tried to power it again plugged somewhere else (in case of a bad plug) and got exactly the same issue, everything started well but shut down after a few seconds, both fuse are dead again.
Please, do you understand what happens here?
Now I only get 1.25A and 1.6A replacements fuses... I think I have to buy more but want to understand what happens here, please @JCat , do you have any idea?
ps: something strange is my controller is supposed to be 110v and it's mentionned to use only 250v fuses and it's the same with where there the main power cable. Just to mention, this setup was working well for several years of light use (several times per week in average but a lot less this last year).
