Does anyone ever unplug their herbo once it's hot? I'd guess it would retail n heat for a minute or two once up to temp?
Yep! When I move it from one room to the next I unplug it while hot, pick it up from the base of the stand which remains cool, and then plug it back in in the other room. I notice it retains its heat pretty well and doesn’t take very long to get back up to temp

Mine has arrived, it is pretty damn awesome. Any tips.and tricks I should know about? Other than don't drop it which I did within the first five minutes, smashing the glass surrounding the heater. Fortunately had a spare.

Actually I'll go first:
Always order spares...

Use the stand after each hit. i like cold bowls. Also stir. I usually use temperature 7, which is 200 celsius). i would not go higher than 8 (210 celsius). i am not sure about the digi ti temperature controller scales. It is not fahrenheit nor celsius. It probably is 650 on the digi is 6.5 on the analogue or something like that. And 700 is 7 on analogue? I am not sure to be honest.

5 = 626F 6=716F it's just write on the notice...
And 5 for me gave roasted abv...
Also stir.
I never stir... that's where herborizer is above most. useless if u go around 0.1g

I would no go higher than 5, notice says 190C herb temp but it's a bit more, i can compare with the crafty 190C

... 8 = 280C/536F herb or 440C/824F coil ...
Here people still fuck with combustion...

Ah oke, I did not even realize that. I was talking out of my ass. I guess i was mixed up with the XL temperatures, which i also own. And i put that XL on 7. I have not used the Ti to much yet so i learned something new.
I guess 5 would be a better starting point on the analogue Ti. Well anyway here is a link to the manual.

Yeah, for best flavour start at 4,5 (analogue Ti), for stronger hits go to 5 (that's my max lol).

When I first got it, I put the temperature on 8-9 so the Titanium burned in and got a really nice blueish colour ;) Looks dope.

Yes the burn in has to be at 8, according to the manual. I will definately try the lower temps. I like low temps a bit better usually because easier on the throat and nice sativa effects. Mine is nice and blue now. I guess i missed the part that the heater has different temps than the XL. I will try it tommorow. Saturday is my Troy and Jerry Show day, so that is a good reason to pull out the herborizer again.

First one not going too high, THANKS YOU ! I'm not alone

I've got only one sativa, and she goes till the psychedelic effect, which can be too much. But a low temp of that one is the best in the morning ;) she is sweet and pleasant at low, and become sour and psychedelic at "high" temp

I need the Sativas to get my brain going. I don't consider it psychedelic but to me it is more mood uplifting and creative.
But I don't take that much. I am more of a microdoser nowadays. But everyone likes something different, so it is all good.

Yes that may be for some. Or they just took to much. Everyone is different.
Regarding the headaches.: I read that if you cut off the leafs with sissors some of the leaf stem stays behind in the bud and that causes the headache. So it is best to pull out the leafs by hand so the stem does not stay behind. I thought this was an interesting fact. It could be that there are other factors as well.

It is also an interesting fact that sativas can both cause anxiety and fix anxiety. It is supposed to fix it mostly. But if you go crazy with the dosing than it gets out of hand.

I am interested in a herborizer, but I'm not sure which one. I want flavour which should be the XL but I also want the recovery time of the DigiTi. There isn't typically sales right? I will probably buy a flowerpot to go with my auber and then a herborizer in the future.

Well i own both the analogue ti and the XL. I would go for the Ti. Just for the simple reason that it is easier to pickup/lift from the bowl. because that stuff gets hot. the best most tasty hits ever i got from the XL. I have not tried the Ti to much yet, but i cannot confirm if the flavour is the same.

If you drop the XL heater you have to replace the entire heater if the glass breaks which will be around 99 euro.
If you drop the Ti and the glass breaks you can just replace the glass which is 12 euro. So this is probably a bit cheaper in the long run.

Also the Ti has a micro dose bowl with all glass including the filter, which should definately be a flavour improver. I have not tried it enough though to comment on it. I personaly think titanium is a bit better and less harsch than the steel from the XL. But it could be that i just have a sensitive throat.

If you want big loads like 0.5 gram (even more is possible) than the XL is what you need. The Ti can still easily have 0.2 or 0.3 gram i think.
Bot are great. But the XL just has a poor design for picking it up from the bowl, especially if your hands are a bit greasy or sweaty.

@SquirrelMaster Get the Ti . I can smell the cable insulation on the XL on higher temps and longer heat soak. IT is right on the intake and above the heater ...On a side note i havent tried the Ti ,it still has a o-ring that holds the glass to the heater ,which might be possible source of off-taste,but at least it is not as close as the wire insulation on the XL

Well i was hitting the herborizer Ti yesterday on 4.5 and 5 as recommended.
I almost did not get any clouds. I got very high though. But the ABV looked fairly green.

What am i doing wrong?

Did u heatsoak enough, even at 10 ?
It could be due to air leak too..

14mm or 18mm ?
Cause 5, my abv is brown, and got fast easy clouds, i even got clouds with 3min30s heatsoak and then 4 set

No i did not heatsoak. With my XL i put it on 7 which is 200 celsius and still get good clouds.
With the Ti if i put it on 7 i got high but no visible vapor.

I will try some more today. see how it goes. how long do you usually heatsoak. I know on my XL i only need heatsoak a little bit if i am at 6.
But at 7 i can pretty much hit it right away. The Ti is new to me. Have not had the change to experiment a lot with it yet.

The heater can have some variation on the dial, some can't go above 6 on the dial, for me i'm betwen 5-6,2 for big HIT.... If you don't have any visible cloud at 7 it's not normal...... Oh and heat soak for like 5-10min should be enough, you can turn the dial at max for 5min and going back to 4.5-5.5 wait 1min and BOOM !!

It works a bit better now after heatsoaking the bowl for about a minute and i put it at 5.5. Also it was a micro dose (barely covering the screen of the regular ti bowl) so it probably should not giving to big of a cloud anyway. I think finer grind will help.)

Yes but I had very low dosage in the bowl. So it works a bit different as with full bowl.

I have to.

But with small tight 14mm bubbler, a ceramic heater base and a baking paper i can put the heater really low temp.

Try to more heatsoak the heater, alone, if you want to one hit. Maybe even 7min at 10

How is the position of the Ti element, 5mm below glass sleeve like the manual says? Also check if the screw is tight, mine got loose over time and performance dropped until the Ti element slipped down.
