There must be one headless allen screw in the upper part of the Ti element that holds it on the heating rod. If you take of the glass sleeve you should see it. Did you get that small Allen key with your heater?I dont think i have any screws. just 2 o rings. and i dont have the manual. i just bought the heater. not the system, because i already had the power supply and controller from the XL.
That Sherlock stand comes very handy too.
I tend to use it for that first fresh grind tasty bowl microdose.
It can get a little bit harsh sometimes, after that first hit, everything is heat soaked and second hit can get drier, less tasty, but still thick and potent.
A small ash catcher no water, or a dropdown make a “tangible”difference in that.

“tangible” Tangie

I have Sour Tangie.
Editing a video of a Sour Tangie bowl, with a dropdown and the Sherlock stand...
View attachment 3244Videos are supposed to be 4K 60fps available. Still processing.
First video is at 696F.
A tad too high, even for a fresh bowl with “dropped heater” a la “Zancru”.
Sherlock has no restriction, so your draw needs to be slower than normal to not overpower the heater and avoid hot spots.
Still big flavorful clouds, almost tolerable
Second video is the U jointed Fred the Chicken carb system a la Zancru too.
This time temperature is at a way more comfortable 666F.
And Freddie helps to carb that perfect hit.
Dracarys!!!!
Stay vaped!
Mantente de la mente!!!
p.s: for people wondering what’s a “dropped heater a la Zancru”, use your Allen wrench and slowly counter/clockwise (one way is the correct I believe, the other adds friction) drop down that Ti heater rod.
Start like by 5mm drop down, lower temperatures between 606-636F and go to town.
Warning , remember to lower the dose of material, go microdosing for better results and avoid the heater too close to the herb.

My Ti heating rod protrudes 11mm from the tip of the glass injector.
You can clearly see where it used to sit, at that blue line, and the screw mark.
To reach same results with less weed now, I dropped temperatures from above the 700F, now I range between 666F and 696F.
Depends on the mood.
"A" stand,... a ceramic mug, bowl can be as good or even better if u find a good form factor (no glass friction, less heat absorption)The stand seems like a "must have" accessory to me. I don't know what else you'd do with the injector in between hits/sessions.
Carb hole will have no use. Pulling the heater out will be better and cool the bowl too, if u go for more than 1 hit.Carb hole might be a nice addition.
If u can't clear with a heater pull off, it's mean u put too much for a 1 hit.Being able to clear the piece prior to lift the vape gives me just enough time to milk the most without running out of breath, big hits for me . If you try to clear the piece through the bowl with the herb by just lifting the vape it wont be so instantaneous and I find it more confortable to lift just the vape than the combo bowl+ vape from the bowl handle.
If u can't clear with a heater pull off, it's mean u put too much for a 1 hit.
Those who lift the bowl after lifting the heater try to go too far too (*cough* ).
It definetly does the work, and really well.Just lifting the heater is not really working. It definately does not give you that shoot right up the throat hit experience.
Absolutly not,... if so the bowl won't cooled down, and even worse if u pull everything out, u create blow back...YOU NEED TO LIFT THE BOWL, NOT JUST THE HEATER.
When the digiti will get back... cause for now it's only the analog available, and only a few left...Really torn between the analog and digital Ti versions.
They are the same, just the bubbler size u want.Hello people,
I am thinking of buying a new desktop vaporizer.
Which of the two models would you buy and why?
