I was on the fence to order one also but... I hesitated for a second before to take the plunge, I want to support the Herbie and Europeans manufacturers!
Unit only, I'll see in the future about add-ons, shipping was 14€ to France.
Hi @Vape Engineering , did you offered us a coupon for launchment? if yes I missed it. And, please, did you said you used a 3 batteries mod box and recommand it? I have only one and two batteries mods.
How wide it is? I would like to use it with my sbs mods (I have the Movkin Disguiser and the Aster) if possible.

For now I just ordered the unit without any add-ons, although I have some interest in the short mp and bowl reducer if I can't find a diy solution, can't wait to test that atty!

Ok now let's get back to your questions.
Shipping: yes we had some troubles with the shipping but this problems should be fixed now. We are unfortunately dependent on DHL. Therefore the prices are composed as follows:
Germany: 5,90 €
EU (inkl UK): 14 €
Worldwide: 37 €
The first lucky guys from the US got still the dispatch for 12 €.
Promo-Codes:
Unfortunatley we don't have acutal any Promo coupons or codes. We first have to learn how to manage everything with taxes, customs, shipping, and so on.... So maybe in the future when everything is running we will come around with a coupon.
BatteryMods:
We receive a lot of questions about which battery carrier is best suited. We would recommend to use at least two 18650 batteries. Better would be a battery carrier with one or two 21700 cells. Our suggestion is:
Uwell Nunchaku 2
Wismec Reuleaux RX2 21700
Wismec Reuleaux Gen 3 Dual
In the end you just need an 510 connector which is common in e-cig mods and make sure that it has enough power.
Anyway, we are in contact with a supplier, so that we hopefully can offer some mods in our shop too.
Questions about Herbie:
Well Herbie is not a plug n pray vaporizer. It has that much parameters with which you can play (air hole opening, wattage value from your mod, resistance from your mesh, inhale velocity, humidity of your herbs and so on). It requires a bit of time until you have found your sweet spot. But I can tell you, once you found your spot, Herbie is a beast. As mentioned before, if we find a solution to make videos, we will make a small series like loading, cleaning, assembly, etc...

I brought the Herbie, and the air bypass thingy.
I don't like dosing caps, so did not get the reducer.
Did not get the WPA as I rarely use water. Also I am guessing the DT v4 silicone adapter may work. I am sure I can find something. I don't even have a water piece at the moment.

@Vape Engineering I have a question regarding the coils. My herbie seems to be on its way and I'm very interested in using other coils because there were no spare coils available when I ordered.
In the manual it is described that one can use his own single or dual coils. Could you provide some pictures of this?
I can't imagine how to set up the herbie with a dual coil Ss316l wire.

Hey folks
Yes you can make your own coils if you have the right wire for that. Maybe I can make it into an e-cig store today and buy some wire. I ran out of it. With prefabricated wire (e.g. Fused Clapton Wire) you can make your own coils. You just have to clamp them into the brackets instead of the mesh. So you can run Herbie in dual coil or single coil mode. I will provide some picutres the next few days
Anyway we prefer to use the 200 mesh from SS316L.
We also offer that mesh at our store
But the mesh from Amazon should work also.
We do not have any experience with the DT v4 adapter, but we would love to hear how it works

Were there any wire or screens when I ordered yesterday night? Then I have must been very medicated because I would swear there weren't any spare parts. Big sorry for that. Maybe I need some glasses when I order something in the night ^^
I will support your shop next time I need anything for the herbie. That's for sure. Maybe you could go for a smell proof baggy in the future. That would be a nice accessory and maybe not as expensive in building as the grinder is.

I think they will ship all the units alltogether that Monday (tomorrow). I hope they will add instructions especially in regard to the TC mode, I know it may have a learning curve but I would like to get something to point me in the right direction. I don't expect to get it before wednesday (tuesday if I'm lucky), I'm afraid about all that metal to rob heat and to becomes quickly unconfortable to touch... we'll see.
Hey folks, my Herbie arrived an hour ago.
I had some problems with my old, often used capsules at first. The lids were stuck in the reducer and they didn't fit at all. Only the lids are problematic, capsule bodys fit fine.
Then I tried brand new capsules, they fit but very snug. I hate new capsules, the lids are sooooo snug fit at first.
I couldn't read anywhere how to setup the pre-built coil in terms of Tcr (tried up to 60w, ramped up temp up to 260-280 °C but nothing) so I went for power mode. It's important to know that I use capsules only.
I started at 35W and realized that until 45W nothing really happened. Manual says to start at 30W.
At 50W I started to get some vapor, 55W were better, 60W was best but I could see the orange glowing of the coil through the half opened airflow. I don't know if it's meant to be that way.
Please @Vape Engineering give us some hints in terms of the pre-built coil (mine has 0.19 ohm) regarding how much Watts and which Tcr settings we should start with and what is exactly to do when using capsules.
Should I preheat some seconds without vaping so conducting heat can build up and heats the capsule before I take my first hit?
I really like the way the herbie is build but I think you should also provide some spare o-rings even shipped with the unit!!!!
I already saw some little parts of the O-ring material scraped off in my device when it arrived so if anything goes wrong while cleaning and the O-ring is screwed, you are screwed!
Where can I get spare o-rings?
Can you provide me some as a goodie when I order some spare screens in the next few days?
Also the stealth cap has a really loose air control ring..or my O-ring for that part is a little bit to small in its diameter. When I remove it from the body it sometimes falls off and needs to be attached again. Nothing to be sad about but maybe fixable?

Fiddling with the airflow shows that I'm getting combusted hotspots in the middle when the holes are too much closed and my inhaling draw speed is too low. Really bad taste.
Holy cow it's like walking in the dark. Some instructions would be great to tinker with.
High wattage plus half opened airflow plus strong draw speed seems to be best but it still shows some light hot spots (not comparable to the one of the picture).
Edit: after switching my nunchaku 2 vs kriemhild vs p80 now the herbie with pre-built coil shows 0.30 ohm.

Looks like a pretty even heat distribution I would try it without the capsule and wide open vents.
I just tried and all of you were right, its much better without capsules. The Abv is more even roasted. 50-55W + airflow half opened. Way more and satisfying vapor production. Nice.
But this handling is not why I bought this device.
I bought this device for outside. It seems to be so indestructible and I love the idea of having several capsules with me and change them quickly and clean on the go. That's why I bought it.
I own a tinymight and use it with capsules but I'm afraid I could break the inner glass when I use it outside.
So herbie could be the perfect complement. I need this damn capsules working some day - but until this day comes and a smart guy tells me how to do it right, I will keep using it without but then it's just like a "one-load and done" scenario and not so versatile as it's meant to be.
Edit: I did it my way....
With the new knowledge I filled up a capsule and put it upside down - without the lid - into the herbie. This way the herbs are in direct contact to the hot air and the bottom of the capsule keeps the upper screen a little bit cleaner.
The dark spots on the capsule photo look darker as they are in reality.
So for outside I can carry around my filled caps with the lid so they are closed but when I want to use them, I take the lid off and put the capsule upside down into the herbie.
Afterwards I take them out and put the lid on so they're closed again.
I can live with that.

After two more bowls the coil resistance went from 0.30 to 0.41 ohm. This was a warning, despite I lowered the wattage down to 33 watts, the coil burned in an uneven line beginning from the middle. Two more heat ups later it fired bright as the sun several little holes into the mesh and the battery mod responded 'check atomizer'.
I put in a new mesh coil, 0.25ohm, now it fires at much lower wattage. Now I get vapor from 33-42W. Seems more reasonable. I feel like a rocket scientist

Perhaps the coil was not screwed down properly before or got lose in transit. I will check mine before firing her up.
