One corner is flush, none of the others. But, it isn't the battery side that is uneven it is the "lid". Uneven, if the pods are in or out. I also seem to get a piece or two of debris, which I found extremely puzzling. I always use low temps, I should never combust.
Love your honesty and transparency bro! Invite that shame haha! Free your humble soul from embarrassment, get it all out in the open and start living it down now!At the risk of sounding like a complete dumb-ass... I did that the first day .
it seemed to seat very well in the wrong position too
I will. Did you contact them via this forum, or Haze Tech warranties? Or both?Send it in. I didn't bother playing around with or taking mine apart, I just sent it in after using it for three or four bowls. Never experienced any combustion, but had other inconsistencies due to the seal issue as I mentioned. It is much easier to have it checked and ensured that it is assembled properly by them

Haze is pretty active on these forums...I would try here firstI will. Did you contact them via this forum, or Haze Tech warranties? Or both?
Maybe your temps are swapped? Someone else here said they combusted on the lowest setting. If you're getting wispy weak vapor on the highest setting.... Well I'm just trying to put 2 and 2 together while waiting for my own square to arrive .I got my square and it is not functional
1) the charger is a POS but the square charges very fast with my USB-C port on my computer
2) no vapor -- moved to the highest setting and only began to get ultra wispy vapor --> terrible
3) going download the app and reset the temps to be higher as Bud (vape critic) suggests
I can feel that the square wants to be a good vape but it is not, not yet anyway. Something is very wrong.
I feel pissed and disappointed but those are just my feelings. I know Haze is working hard to fix things but we are not there yet. It blows me away how piss poor my experience with the square is.
So I am going to relax, calm down, contact Haze, and add my name to the list of people whose squares cannot make vapor. I have never had a vape that I couldn't get vapor out of. I can't get vapor from the haze square.
I also ordered the 'leather case' it is not leather and it was not designed for the square -- disappointed.
I am going to go fire up the ELEV8R and take a chill pill.
@Haze Vaporizers put me down for whatever you're going to do to get this corrected and please take your plastic haze case back too.
Damn..seems more issues with these than non issues..ill see when i get mine.. @steama did you get yours? And @Shit Snacks you had issues as well? @Haze Vaporizers is totally on top of it and will get us settled..i hit one of the beta units a few weeks back and it was awesome so i have seen it and used it with cool tasty vapor..i also had an amazing elavape that at first took alot of getting used to but then i fell in love but it wasnt for everybody..it was a coil system too..but this seems different..but similar?
I will. Did you contact them via this forum, or Haze Tech warranties? Or both?

Well not poking fun but you said you were thr champ and fonna get that vapor..i know how pissed you are brother..my point ia that sometimes we think people might be overreacting when they recieve a new product and it doesnt work and we all like to think its their fault or its the device in this case..i know you are professional vaporist..so it must be broken at the moment. And no learher??is it the same one for the haze v3??I got my square and it is not functional

EDIT:
4) one bowl and the battery is dead

Just on here but I'm sure you can email if you prefer, they are understandably pretty swamped right now, but I feel like it was a pretty prompt reply considering just be patient and I'm sure you'll be satisfied with their service.
I see a lot of chatter about having to pack the pods pretty full. Haze has mentioned that they are coming out with a micro dose attachment so to speak. How much do you need to put in the pods that come with the square in order to get good vapor production? I may not pack a full chamber, possibly like a half the same how I pack my V3. Only half a basket.
I was wondering whether anyone at FC got a unit without the seal problem. We got two units back so far and quickly applied the fix and sent back the same day. I just hope that those customers are also on FC so they can share their opinion after the seal fix.Square pro arrived, my first Haze brand vape. Haven't vaped yet...it's charging.
First impressions/observations/questions:
Ok the light went green and I took some puffs on stock red setting (430f).
- It's much smaller than pictures or video portray (it's a cute little thing) and also feels heavy in the hand, solid.
- Solid feeling all around, tank-like, good build quality.
- Mine came with loading/reassembly tool, so I don't have to wait for secondary shipment, I'm complete (got shipping email 4/20, don't know if that means anything in relation to if you get your preorder extra)
- Had to reboot laptop for app to recognize the Square the first time, it also said 100% battery and then quickly dropped all the way down to 50%, so I don't fully trust that part of the app yet
- Tried cycling through stock heat led colors, had to hold button down for a small count to get temps to cycle
- Wait until it's fully charged before trying the "Check battery" feature, mine didn't behave correctly at first (blinked weird light pattern), but after a full charge it's doing what the manual described.
- Wiped the bowls and metal screen surface with iso prep pads, dried then filled two bowls with the loading tool, very easy to use. Bowls don't seem as big as some have mentioned IMO, but I'm not a microdoser.
- I don't have USB C port on anything, does the wall block charger also "Fast" charge?
- If you find the MP falls out of storage, make sure you insert it with the end with the O-rings first
VERY NICE! Got great tasting vapor right away (Sorry for those of you having trouble). Good quality, good cloud volume (I use a Supreme as a DD so that's saying something).
This is what I was hoping the ESV or Grasshopper would do but those were both failures for me.
I had an ESV but could never get the draw technique down, it seemed super finicky to me, the battery performed poorly and I wasted a lot of herb giving it a go. That went quickly into the drawer.
Grasshopper heated quickly (so does the Square), and the vapor was very good, but it was also super harsh and the front end fell apart after a couple cleanings. The Square vapor seems equally good but the vapor is so much cooler and less irritating than the GH. The airpath with the 14 parts or whatever seems to do the trick.
GREAT JOB Haze - in just a couple minutes with this I can see it is a winner (for me, sorry for you folks having issues).
I really needed a good portable and now I have one that doesn't need to be loaded as frequently. So far very happy with the puchase.
Starting to feel effects of first vapor now. I think I'll keep this. Still waiting to judge some things only time will tell me, such as battery life and maintenance.

Raptor may be talking about me, but I just put a pinch in each chamber. Which, I use a coffee grinder for the bud, so it's super fine. Start off with lowest preset (blue). Then after 2 sessions, I'll use the middle preset to finish it off for the 3rd and 4th session. So, with just a pinch, I can do 4 sessions just from one chamber. May also need a certain mindset when using this. But, I just know what has been working successfully for me.
I think you could probably get one if you asked. I wanted to send mine just to be sure it got a good once over, we got a free year of service, right?Do we need to send the square back in for seal. Thought they were sending them out.
I got my thunderbolt 3 port on my laptop to recognize the square and QuickCharge it.. But it wouldnt do it again after I removed it and plugged it back in which is baffling me. (its picky about Power Delivery) It charges on the regular 3.0 C Port but I dont know how fast or accurate it is.

Im sure we all cannot wait for your video review(s) on the Square, when you are all set.
you're right that IS saying something!VERY NICE! Got great tasting vapor right away (Sorry for those of you having trouble). Good quality, good cloud volume (I use a Supreme as a DD so that's saying something).
@Haze Vaporizers for those of us waiting on USPS, can you let us know what steps we can take to identify whether we have a unit with the silicone seal issue? It would be nice to know this prior to investing time and product - all of the symptoms you mentioned require use of material to identify.1) If the air is not directed properly, you will get low/no vapor production.
2) If the hot air is not directed properly, you will have to keep pushing the button down longer to heat the non-sealed air which will cause you auto-shut off.
3) If the hot air is not directed properly, you will have to get your temps way higher than what they need to be to get decent vapor.
4) If the hot air is not directed properly, you will waste way more energy and your battery will not last as it should.
