I can see being drawn into that color…it’s eye catching to say the least. I am leaning towards the simple percs with minimal holes. Seems to keep taste up longer. Well I went into twilight zone for a sec but all good now
Riding at 7.70 through a 18" beaker for some banging hits.Yeah I have been keeping it pretty light, 8.75 watts is like the max where it kind of starts to get pretty dark, but only after heat soak between hits, the heat can really build if you let it sit, so that first hit back can roast the center if you're not careful, but when you are on the lower side of 8 watts it makes for some perfect hits, quick thick flavorful vapor without darkening the herb too much, settling into using 6.8-7.3v as my milk safety zone, with the TAG bowl in particular (can reasonably microdose with it too)
^this is some blue dream og after three hits at same settings (the values dance around btw was set for 7.11v) with several minutes in between, like more than ten even maybe was not tracking... Could have got another hit, but flavor was gone so no need for me!
Yeah I had been needing some bright orange in my collection, already have a lot of blue and purple lol plus more still to come!
Yeah I've got a whole mix now, so much variety in perc and other aspects of the piece... I don't really want too much diffusion either normally since I love the flavor, but I want a nice smooth pull and visible chamber to fill typically... Love colors and heady shit!
Halo is the type of vape that makes you want to try a wide variety of glass again, the inline honeycomb was always my go-to for so long because of how reliable it was back in the day with LSV and Underdog then my Heat Islands, Zions and Splinters, Tetra and Tinymight... Torch powered vapes, you name it that rig can handle it, even dabs well! However it is a little more boring with the Halo or rather I just have more interesting and unique, new pieces now? There are pros and cons to each one though really??
Seriously that would check out my, and others', antics over in the cheap glass thread not to get too off topic here
Very nice piece! Unfortunately the glass is all roughed up everywhere, dark green markings on top of the glass, I think from the creation process, like they need to flame polish or anneal more I guess? It's primarily the base, I'll try to take a close-up picture later, the mouthpiece a bit as well and some other parts... I let them know the feedback for the future, but the function is on point! its here
All my vapes come as plug and play not DiY kits . Except burn off even though I clean I still advise safety first. The kit is VVPS and TAG glass bowls the stand is nothing to write home about and that’s why it just comes with it. Last one were walnut with chanel cut in it. Newer ones are walnut or whatever woods I have with dowels positioned on it to keep the vape upright instead of a chanel. I have plans to offer nice exotic wood stands in the future but that’s not a main priority right now.I saw iDB's post about the modest ten dollar bump for materials. What are the Halo and Atlas going to cost tomorrow? You buy the head piece, injector, and the handle as a kit and then use a vv power supply and that's it? Or is it a glass beads assemble yourself thing too? I've only seen the two most recent YouTube clips and I'm fuzzy

is there somewhere to find the prices for both of the vape models you are offering?
There were some people waiting for me to open and I said I would reach back out to. Tomorrow night I will really try to reach out to you and touch base with you. Please reach out to me if any of you see this. Thank you every one for this opportunity. I really mean it. I fn love this shit and I’m glad to be able to make stuff for this community.
Sunday before I open I will have an eta estimate for first order I take that day.
@Pukka
Halo just the vape is $225. The kit at $255 which includes an 18 female to 14 male adapter and a 5a 12v Vvps. The glass is actually handmade by an artist with airports placed on them and flame polished. In direct airpath there is SS mesh, ruby, and heating element. Out of airpath .The socket I actually assembled myself also which is ceramic with gold plated connectors and wiring. The socket and wiring in almost all the chamber is behind SS . Comes with a stand that’s nothing special and subject to change at any time.
No affiliation with REFC
Woods that are being used are
Ebony
olive wood
Camphor Burl -*using for atlas mainly, camphor has an oil that is mentholated that goes away, I could not smell or taste it with an atlas but with heater covers being so close to air ports it could become noticeable, I will try myself at some point because man it’s so beautiful*
Jobillo- Cocobolo
And Padauk.
Well I knocked over my GooRoo orange three-piece after all, fortunately the rest is so thick it was fine, but the mouthpiece joint shattered up real good
Maybe I can find someone to repair it someday, add it to my pile of other broken glass parts... Called and they only have the clear ones in stock right now, I actually am interested in one of those maybe because they are different, but anyway they are waiting for more joints to come so they can make more mouthpieces, and color ones, they may even have some new colors... I'm going to follow up with them near the end of the week by email to see what's available, hopefully maybe I can get one without logos, maybe I can get that aqua blue with orange too, or something else completely new!
Mine was pretty bent, compared to a lot of the other ones I see, hopefully I can find one like that, although I would like to try the more straight and perhaps shorter ones possibly, closer to the clear? Hmm...
Anyway the lesson is always remove the mouthpiece when not in use, honestly I was doing that at first, and then I started to get lazy thinking oh why bother it'll be fine and the table is full of other stuff, but now I know to always do it... I mean I could have knocked it over anyway even without the mp, I was moving some pillows around, not a usual thing, while doing a video chat lol
