@coolbreeze thanks

@TedJones I hope the redesign makes it more user friendly

@cilantro I'm not sure if they fit but there are dedicated ones for the HyperDyn

@Caketron the best thing to do is to clean it often so it doesn't get too much buildup but then when you remove it, heat the bowl a little and just use something to drag it out. It comes out much easier when warm whether its clean or dirty

I have a new stand design. As I mentioned before, the head piece was inspired by DedeyeDezign who can be found on all socials. The magnet connector was inspired by someone on Instagram.

And handles are back but a bit limited right now. I will be making more hardwood ones soon

Great looking stands. It would be great to have something integrated to surround the coil so you don't burn your hand accidentally. Yeah, there are others out there that could be bought, but an integrated one would be cool. Especially since some of these coils are longer than those used for ball vapes which I think most guards are designed for.

I finally got a coil for my beloved quartz vapes :brow:

Does anyone care to briefly share what temps and techniques you are using? Also what device you are using?

I’m deep in the testing phase right now :science:

I’m using the coil with 14mm tc (one piece and regular), 18mm qc and it also fits my GVB EMK really well.

@nicknobody if running Quartz Caps wired, Im running 570 for the 18mm and 525 for the 14mm with a one minute heat soak. I run the Terpcicle around the same. I have never run the Terpcicle Mini wired. For the Mini i run it at 600 with one minute heat soak and then hit it straight from the stem and then add heat as needed. hope that helps

My first quartz cap and my #6 I'll think of something bowls fit in my mini terpsickle heater. SO. I bought extra bowl of each. Neither fit. They are a little bigger.

My Dual PID and the coil for the TRWW Quartz Heaters have arrived. I ordered from https://recommendedvapesupplies.co.uk - thanks again to @SlickHenry for the great tip. I'm currently waiting for the wireless handles from TRWW, which should be arriving soon.

So far, I've only had one "small" (lol) bowl out of the 18mm QC at 550F. Wow, the taste is absolutely superb, it's a real joy! I also really like the very open airflow and the extraction is very even. Further experiments with the Terpcicle and the (e)EMK are planned. :science:

Man, how I love it when a new vape arrives and you have to get to grips with it and gradually optimize the experience until you're really happy with it. Fun times!

Thanks to @nicknobody in the EMK thread for the inspiration - you seem to be my muse when it comes to TRWW TED's.:D Thanks for that!

EDIT: Just to be sure: I just keep that thing (coil + QC) on, right? The constant heat doesn't damage the quartz? :hmm:

So this wonderful photo prompted some questions if you don't mind. On the first left Terpcicle stack you have a clip just a little way up. I assume that is there as a physical stop when you are using the coils. My question is do you remember where you find them? i have never seen them before.

My second question is about the second column with the orange balls? Can you elaborate on what that is and how it works? or maybe even a better pic?

Too many questions, thanks

These two clips are actually just hanging on the Terpcicle because I wasn't quite sure where to store them when not in use... But you're right, they do serve to hold the quartz heater in the coil. You can purchase the set with the coil and clips from TRWW: https://theroguewaxworks.com/produc...3&_sid=f15c895ff&_ss=r&variant=41357598752842. I have the 18mm version, which works well with the Terpcicle and even better with the 18mm quartz cap. The bowl is quite massive, and this is certainly the opposite of a microdoser, which is usually more my style, but the flavor is absolutely incredible, and the coolness and experimental factor are unmatched.

My second question is about the second column with the orange balls? Can you elaborate on what that is and how it works? or maybe even a better pic?

This is the 'Eighteen Millimeter Killer' (EMK). There's a dedicated thread for it; you can see a better picture here: https://fuckcombustion.com/threads/...-killer-by-good-vibes-boro.53074/post-1804124. The EMK is a manual, normally butane-powered, glass ball vape from GoodVibesBoro: https://goodvibesboro.com/store/18mm-Killer-Quartz-Butane-Device-c151225254. Unfortunately, the EMK has been sold out for a while, and I don't know if GVB will produce more.

The way it works is that you have a stem (the 'tube' with the orange balls, which serve for cooling) and at the end of the stem, either a capsule (like those intended for the Mighty+) or a drop-in screen with your herbs. The cap with the balls is then heated (usually with a large torch like the Blazer Big Shot), then placed onto the stem, and the cloud party begins. However, @nicknobody discovered (see here: https://fuckcombustion.com/threads/...-killer-by-good-vibes-boro.53074/post-1834758) that the cap also fits wonderfully into the TRWW coil (link above), creating an 'Electric Eighteen Millimeter Killer,' which is ultimately why the EMK is also in the picture here.

Too many questions, thanks

But no, not at all, that's why we're all here! :)
