Thank you very much for the teardown pictures.
I'm confused about the three holes next to the bigger one that the electronic wires come in, piece #6 I think? It looks like those holes are at the bottom but not drilled all the way. And there are 3 air holes drilled on the side of piece 6 right?
Also, how about the insulation, it looks darkened? Do you think it's decaying?
Have you noticed if any of the parts are "oily" or burned especially the rubber ones?
Regarding the four wires, I assume two are going to the ceramic chamber and two to the USB port. Are you trying to figure out which wires go to the USB port and the ceramic chamber?
Hi, yes those 3 holes are the adjustable airflow, you cant see it in the picture but from the top each hole makes an "L" which is where your pulling the air from/adjusting the intake. The top of the "L" goes into the chamber and the right side of the "L" is the area that you pick how much flow you want.
The insulation is still pretty good, white/light brown, the reason its dark in the picture is that i had my alcohol swabs sitting on top of it accidentally cleaning everything out, and it absorbed the dirty chamber resin.
There was nothing oily throughout, even under the chamber surprisingly but the rubber seals one is the yellow/orange rubber color, and the other is a light cream color, none look worn out and can be cleaned with an alcohol swab.
When i was moving the wires from the ceramic chamber part, all 4 wires went through the bigger hole next to the 3 air holes. There was nothing that needed to be attached to the usb. I managed to take another pic for you guys.
This is just by judging the wires and the solder under the chamber but i think the T+/T- (copper) go together and are swirled and soldered onto the one side of the ceramic chamber, and the H+/H- (steel?) is attached to the other?
Ya im just trying to figure out what goes where.
Thanks guys.
