I don’t know, but the way the stem connects is a solution we helped him find here in this thread after it was released. It works pretty well but it’s not ideal, so I hope that’s changed at least.

Just a note that not every iteration of the fw has been heaped with praise. The fw6 was apparently poor after the success of the fw4 and fw5.

Why not get both? All the firewoods are wonderful and different and I know for a fact the 7s my favorite portable and won't disappoint.

2 to 5 months is reasonable to me, but we are guessing, it will be similar to the 7, likely simpler? Only modest things to improve!

i caved today and ordered this. i was hoping i would find sth more "individual" - or that at least i would not just copy-buy what the cool guys have. but i couldnt help myself. so telling the internet now: @Shit Snacks made me want this.Another new one: small silver fumed multicolored, downward facing inline perc to four pillar recycler, check the cheap glass thread for more details of course!
first waterpiece for me ever, and in that regard it seems perfect - fall is here & i am in star trek spirits.
just how does one clean these? do i need to order a dishwasher as well?

Well to be fair I got this one copying @arb who copied me by getting the larger blue one too lol it is a beautiful piece, very unique!
Will be interesting as your first water piece, so one thing to keep in mind, this is a recycler, even though it is a simple one... The inline perc is great and points downward so you don't need a lot of water, but more water will allow proper recycling function through the four pillars (this basically means it is going to be pulling both water and vapor through the pillars into that upper chamber, the water will be going both in and out at the same time, hence recycling) and the way it is designed there is good splash guard protection when you load more water... Recyclers are great for maintaining flavor throughout your hit, letting it shine through the diffusion, because this one does have decent diffusion so the flavor is not as prominent with all the holes in the inline perk and the four pillars... Never seen a mouth piece like this on any other rig and it is very comfortable I must say! Love the colors too
Honestly I don't use it so much with my FW7, after that initial test, mostly I am using my FW7 dry through my heady hook and through the aquatic rig I posted here for water (filling just enough to cover the slits in the downward facing perc, nice minimal filtration and it has a large wide chamber to fill) However one thing that is going to be very nice for you with this multicolored recycler, you can actually use it dry without any water, and it should provide some pretty great cooling due to the complex pathway!

many thanks for this explaination, i bookmarked it for now & will reread once i have this thing here & can make more sense of it. i went by looks only of course, but i think you said in your original post too that this should work well dry. i have not yet ordered a hook, so this seemed a nice feature, i finally need to start using this wpa i have.

agreed. i just missed the 4 when i was shopping for my 1st vape (which also turned out to be a mighty), and i couldnt quite wrap my head around the 5 then. + shipping here was complicated then already. but id love to acquire a 4 at some point, looks like a james bond vape, and the capsule system seems really cool.This one looks so sexy!

Got this heady whale bubbler jayhook from Jeremy in Nashville (smokyMTglass on Instagram) and it is fun with the FW7 dry for now at least! The male to male drop-down helps give some dry cooling before I get the proper adapter for some 10mm water use...

I finally picked up a FW7 in the drop last weekend. Absolutely can’t wait to try it out! Does anyone know if you get an email when Marc sends it out? I haven’t heard anything yet and I’m trying my best to be patient because I know it’ll be worth it! Glad to join the community

Received my FW7 the other day and I’m sitting here going through the manual and clicking the button to test feedback. Been following this thread for awhile and keeping up with a lot of the discussion. Out the box my presets are 340, 380, 420. I already know before my first load that these are too high for a flavor chasing wuss such as me. You still happy with your presets Snacks? Any other flavor chasers sticking to the shallow end care to chime in with some good flavor temps? Thanks all, glad to finally join the clan.Yeah mine are also 30 degrees apart, still at 310 340 370, milk those low temps

Yeah dude, but try stock first, just milk that low temp and try to get a sense there, and to the middle, with me I was able to use the lowest setting so much that the middle was finishing and that's why I adjusted my temps accordingly (my original beta I have them set higher, which is weird because that one was also supposedly tuned higher lol) remember how you load, button time, draw time how you draw, all that can affect things as well so just get to testing, see and enjoy!

Oh that's awesome, sounds like it is for using with other stems like the O'Connell inception stem that would be better with a shorter adapter stem (wish I had one!)
