Those things are badass, ha! I reached out to StanAlba but I haven't heard back from our initial conversation, he is probably floored right now. Definitley on the pricey side compared to some though. I found a couple of other glassblowers who do some great sherlock/jhooks with cheaper pricing. I will try to add a few soon.I've been waiting to see if he will do a 14mm whale... Not sure if I posted about accidentally breaking the mouthpiece of my GooRoo, knocked the whole thing over and fortunately everything is fine because it's super thick glass except 18mm male joint of the mouthpiece shattered snapping off... Hopefully someday I can find someone to fix that, since the rest is fine, and that orange mouthpiece was unusually long and more bent curved than others... However it allowed me to get a replacement that is a little shorter with a larger mouthpiece hole in the aqua blue color I loved!

Love the sunburst base. Contrasts nice with the blue mouthpiece. Oh I forgot to update here, that I did order that double inline, it has not shipped still though a week later, I guess they're busy at Greek Glass in Pennsylvania... Anyway meanwhile I got in touch with Biao on Instagram and they are shipping my bent neck single inline with my blue saki bottle so hopefully they all arrive safely soon enough!

Yeah unfortunately it's only 10mm with the downstem, so can only use it with my IQ2 maybe until I get an adapter, with water, without the down stem it is 14mm so I can use it as a dry hook! Whale Worth It

I don't have any of those either, but no interest, I wouldn't want to dab with something like this, so small minimal filtration no recycling... Trying to get a 10mm male to 14 or 18 female drop down adapter, but trying to make sure it will fit properly...

I’m on a glass buying spree 
New all fume tube from Syco in Eugene with a sunset scene section I requested.
I’m guessing the rest of the sections are basically a double layer wrap & rake, but I’ve never quite seen it done like that.

Yeah I am a sucker for 90’s style heady glass! i went to college in Eugene, OR from 94-99 so i have many fond memories of puffing all this crazy glass that was so revolutionary at the time.

Dude yes, exactly what I was thinking of when I said that! That looks just like some old school PNW 90's glass.
The sunset lip wrap is awesome, reminds me of a Bob Badtram piece.

If you look at this guy’s work we has some definite Badtram influence. I’m not sure if he was an apprentice, but there is some overlap, especially sceneries. Mountains, deserts, outerspace/aliens, etc…

I scooped up this 2013 Darby Holm tripod about 6 months ago at 60% off because of the male joint. It took some time, but I finally found a glass blower willing to make a custom drop down adapter to match and change the piece from 70 degree male to a 90 degree female joint, using only photos. It was @SwanGlass on IG, and he knocked it out of the park! Did a great job striking the amber purple to match and the flower sculpting is perfect. It was a super smooth transaction and I highly recommend him.

Beautiful work on that drop, you wouldn't be able to tell it wasn't part of the orginal set if you didn't know beforehand. It's very nice to see a older rig with a male joint to get some use, I always feel bad about all the sweet rigs going unused for being the wrong gender.

@710yota Yeah there are some brand new male pieces out there at shops that still haven't sold from 8+ years ago. I'm going to keep my eyes out for more now that I know I can have adapters made that match. Swan really did a great job making it look original.
@invertedisdead So true haha, though I can't say I miss the days of dabbing on red hot titanium nails And you're right, amber purple always looks good. I'm a big fan of most of the striking colors. It is always cool to see the different streaks of color along the piece.
