I'm not an expert but from what I recall, the ceramic is porous so soaking it in iso is a bad idea because it will like, saturate it and then it's hard to dry the iso out of it or something idk I never tried it. I wipe the ceramics with q-tips wetted with 99.9% iso and it cleans up very easy, there will always be discoloration because of the porous nature of the ceramic but it doesn't affect anything but the visuals.is it inadvisable to just throw the ceramics in some iso with the glass (gently)? i only know that plastics / o-rings should not be washed in iso..
edit: I forgot to add I clean the screen by taking it out and heating it red-hot with a butane torch lol, I've done it at least 3 times now and the screen seems good as new, though taking it out seems to fray the edges a lil
