Coming back to this thread just to update on my esv experience, and joe's service. If you remember I was sent a defective elevape from the vapor nation sale. It was defective in two areas, the magnet lid assembly and the bad battery cell(s). Joe said I would get a whole unit, and to just send the battery pack in. Then there was a "mix-up", and all I received was the battery. They sent the new lid assembly after I inquired, but I was hoping to experience what a "factory-tuned unit" was like and I was not given this opportunity.
I tested the unit, the battery seemed to work great after some coil tweaking but it would ramp up at the end of my draw. But I figured this was because I take unusually large draws, and it worked really well for most of the hit. I already have plenty of portable vapes with more coming so I cleaned it up, installed the new magnet lid assembly, and sold it at a huge loss, hoping it would be somebody else's gain.
But the replacement battery pack somehow went bad right away/in transit, and the person I sold the esv to was charged another $60 to replace it! This is right after it was just replaced, meaning the crap battery pack replacement was another, untested(?!) crap battery pack. I know they aren't technically liable to replace the battery again since I re-sold the vaporizer, but for a new vaporizer company that's trying to establish a brand that's just shit service.
I will not ever patronize ipuff again, or whatever they morph into with their recent merger because they seem to have already abandoned this particular brand. I hope they will treat
edit better in the future, giving him a full warranty after this, because this is no way to service customers
