My new 18mm gong arrived today. Only took 3 days to get here, thank God. I'm back to running the nano through my water pipe. I am happy again.

I know people say to flip half of the silicon collar over itself to make a thicker grip for pulling the gong. I don't really see the need for that. I can grab the gong and clear the bong, it doesn't take too long.

I'm with you there man, I don't flip mine over either. I don't put my fingers under the silicone, I just grab it between two fingers. I feel so coordinated doing it, haha.

Edit: Congrats on getting your GonG! If you don't upload a video that knocks my socks off I'll be upset! haha jk

My GonGs should be here tomorrow. Got both a 14 and an 18mm.

Does anyone have a GonG (say from JoDa) with a ground glass joint? I'm kind of curious if it's a bad idea for some reason, as Andy seems only to sell the polished glass. I wonder what people's thoughts and experiences are.

Tonight I had some kief brushed from the sides of my grinder and from the side of the jar I just cleaned out. Vaped it on top of the ABV from earlier, yowza.

I roll my silicone over on my gongs, but not for a better grip. I find it creates a smaller target vertically and almost makes it harder to grab.

The main reason I do it is that I can see my cannabis better. Without the silicone flipped I can only see it from a top down view. I like to be able to see how much I'm loading and the color of the herb. It also helps insulate the heat a little better, although that is only a minor issue.

Tonight I'm vaping some Blue Dream live resin in my E-Nano. This is my first time using concentrates with the nano. I'm not loving the flavor of the live resin, it's very grassy, but it is definitely getting the job done in a unique way. :science:

I usually just cut my silicone sleeve in half for exactly the same reason. It's still wide enough to grab with a finger and thumb, and I can see the load this way.

When I tried folding, it seemed to want to flip back into place all the time so just cut it :tup:

I might just have to cut mine too. Thanks for the idea, it seems so obvious in hindsight but it never occurred to me to just cut the sleeve.

i've tried cotton and cut-up volcano concentrate pads (i read the S&B pads worked best for mighty, volcano was only available to me i assumed they were more or less the same).

... i like using the concentrate pad over cotton only because it's more permanent, i just keep it in gong and have one gong just for concentrate use.

saying that, the last few daze i've been lazy and just adding a dab to dry herb lol

I've tried cotton, putting some on dry herb, and even putting some in the stem by itself. This was all dry by the way, I haven't tried it with water yet. I think I'd prefer a concentrate pad of some sort but I've been too lazy to buy one. I might venture out today and see what I can find locally.

All of the methods I tried worked. I think I liked the cotton the most so far but it did add a little unwanted flavor.

I find putting it on dry herb works the best, just a little ball centered on a small Nano bowl of herb. First hit I hover and hit for maybe 2 seconds, RIGHT as it produces vapor I pull it off. This first hit is the "melter," and not an actual hit. Once the oil has soaked into the bud, THEN, you rip it. Nice slow initial draw to heat up/finish the melt, then a nice hard draw to really get things popping.

I'll be buying some organic cotton or degummed hemp fiber pretty soon, trying to perfect every method if possible, despite preferring it on herb ^.^

My favorite cheap and easy method without cotton is to use an upsidedown basket screen in my fixed screen gong and stack tiny pieces of fine mesh screen cuttings, layered about 5 deep. Nano on 10 with a drop of co2 oil on the screens. Cleanest dabs I've ever had. Convection vs conduction draws it out over a few hits.

Hi everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself. I've been using my Nano now for a few months. I purchased it off someone and he had some custom Joda pieces in the sale. (I believe he is on here, but we met up on another site.) I love my Nano! Today, I got a J hook that I had Yeti make to match the Joda GonG that I purchased with my Nano.

Hello all, first post here. Figured I'd introduce myself as I'm sure I'll have lots of questions in the future. I've been smoking cigarettes and pot fairly heavily for about 25 years now and a few weeks my body finally told its time to quit. I could barely breathe and havn't been able to sleep due to not getting enough oxygen.

I've been doing a lot of research which led me to this site and this thread. Decided the e nano was the vape for me after much searching around the answer was clear, especially with the lifetime warranty if you order before tomorrow. Using bags doesn't really appeal to me and I usually smoke alone so the e nano seemed perfect.

Anyways I'm sorry if this was offtopic but just wanted to say hi, and FUCK COMBUSTION! :)

the nano is a small beast. I have a large vaporizer, a Plenty, and the nano kicks his big ass. I'd really recommend this piece for solo usage (two people is optional, three is too crowded.). Pair it up with a water tool! bubblers, bongs, recyclers, shisha/hookah, it's all good!

If you have any questions there are some good folks in this forum. We'd love to help!

@Sevenaito welcome to the fun, glad you were able to find us. This unit is a great vaporizer that will give your herb a wonderful flavor. Remember you have to completely fuckcombustion before you will fully be able to experience the best benefits from vaporizing. The medicated state is better after you are smoke free,

With the nano just put the glass stem in with your fav medication and take a draw 10 seconds later. You can heat soak your stem longer but you don't need to. Dont put too much herb in the bowl because then you will have too tight of a draw.

I'm using my Enano right now and just put a clean stem in with some Tahoe OG, it taste wonderful. We servived another work week Happy Friday NanoNation. I see a lot of new Enano owners. Glad you were able to get the lifetime warranty just under the wire.

Welcome to the new folks on this thread. Not only is vaping healthier than smoking, you get to experience it through one of the greatest vapes ever. My favorite way it through my water pipe using the 18mm gong. In fact, I just finished using mine and I am quite faded right now. Please excuse me. I beg your pardon.

The nano is also a great hand warmer during the winter months.

Now get going and go vape some shit :rockon:
