I did my research and ordered on a monday at like 10 am with the two day shipping option, he said most orders in stock ship out within 48 hours so thats not my fault.
I ordered after the fact he stated he fixed the short GonG problem as well so its my fault for ordering it after he said he was fixing it...? and the mix up on the glass is an accident but you cant blame me for complaining about 3 problems I encountered within my first two weeks with the company.
I love how you all just consider my complaints all my fault, I had nothing to do with any of the problems and don't see how blame can be put upon myself. Sure the whole nano shipping could have been planned better but thats it, nothing else could have been fixed by doing anything on my end.
I mean sure, I was just stating my complaints on a THREAD DEDICATED to the vaporizer. Im sorry that my experience was not the same as yours, I wish I could be happy like you but I guess Im some piece of shit because my experience with a company was different.
This whole forum can never take any bad comments about your vaporizer or the company behind it, this thread is meant for discussion and apparently most users here cannot seem to understand that bad things happen to people and I just wanted to voice my concerns. Sure your experience was great but put yourself in my shoes now when I am $60 over my original budget and don't even have what I ordered originally except the nano itself.
Don't think anyone has thrown much blame, other than the same as I said - anyone should look into anything they are purchasing. This isn't always easy, but FC makes it so with many vapes - especially one from a small company like this. What my point was - and others seem to have agreed - is that Epic has some bumpy conditions. Pretty much all who are familiar with this thread are familiar with this (and a good many of us personally familiar). Is that the best? Is it "good"? No, I wouldn't say so. But, it is to be expected. Is it the fault of any customer? No. But it is what it is. To expect different is the same as me being pissed off because the sun set sooner than I wanted it to. Seems we are to a point when most orders go out without a hitch - and that is great - but still not surprising when there are issues such as yours.
People often complain abut these issues and others in this thread. They aren't often questioned or chastised about it when they stay to the point, and are bringing up issues that everyone here isn't already aware of and expecting. Even then, not so much when the majority of their posts aren't whining. It sucks. I get it! Go back to the very early days (somewhere back in the first 100 pages or so) and read about headaches of many of us that I think could be objectively defined as way worse than anything in your "horrible" experience. And, think that is why you received so much negative feedback here (and certainly from me). If you go back and look, many of us have been in "your shoes" with this very vape - and many of us wish we had it that good out of the gate! But, is pretty rare to see the incessant complaints and whining. There have been a few, and from what I've seen people have commented to them and they either get pissed and disappear, or come to the reality they missed before pulling the trigger on the nano. Mostly the latter - and some of those people are some of the biggest fans in here now. Really hope you join those ranks once your orders are all straightened out.
Things with Epic have gotten much better, and I expect they will continue to. As I think most know, this is a very small operation with Andy and one assistant. Pretty sure that's why this amazing vape can be had for the price it is. For comparison check out the new and highly touted Mighty or Crafty from S&B. Large international company who seems to be making more great new vapes - but at double + the cost of a nano. Am sure some of their orders get screwed up from time to time too, but am guessing the difference would be you won't get straightened out as quickly - or perks - the same as you do from Andy. Think I can speak for many already here, and potential customers too, that it's better to have things as they are and steadily improving with the price static since introductory offers ended than for Andy to hire more staff (as has been suggested) and bump up the price $100 or whatever to cover that.
It's really seldom the message or the messenger that get the blame (especially in this thread), but the tone of that message that brings the ire. I'd say that's not perfect either, but much better than you'll find most places - even in other vape threads here on FC. The great vid above from
@Tweak says it much better than I could ever hope to. Watch it again if this doesn't make sense!
Hey guys can someone explain or point me in the direction of where I should look to learn proper usage of the nano? It's my first vaporizer but I want to make sure I'm getting as much efficiency/flavor etc as possible. What I'm wondering is how full to pack it, what temperature is best, how fast to draw etc.
Hey
@walkpdp ! Welcome to the world of nano! Much good info throughout the thread, but a few good things to get you started.
Best of the E-Nano from Epicvape thread And, check out these two vids if you haven't, yet. Caligula's 2 Hit Extraction and Enchantre's nano tutoriall
You really owe it to yourself to check out this thread, too. All of this and more was just posted in the last 3 or 4 pages.
