I doubt that it’s ‘done,’ a wire probably got disconnected or broke when the socket broke. I once replaced mine - its an inexpensive C8 panel mount socket that needed a ridge dremeled/filed off, if I remember right. I bought a bag of them from Amazon, that were the same type that the nano uses.
Thanks Exsmoker. I never knew the right name for the part.

I think I understand the basic workings when I have it open. I can get the light to go on but it won't stay so I think there is a short somewhere. If I get a new socket I will try and replace it. Thank you for the help.

Is it normal to have a gap like that or was mine just put together crooked?

I picked up and NXT when they first came out, but I never used it since I was using my OG as my DD at that time. I pulled it out recently and I have the same issue. It appears to be off center and no way to fix it. Also has a small crack at the base which was really disappointing. My fault for not checking it, otherwise I would have returned it. I have an XL and 2 OGs and the NXT had the worst QC by far.

If anyone's looking for a 14mm adjustable screen GonG planet of the vape has them in stock now. I've been looking for a while they're hard to find. Just FYI if anybody needs one

Still out of stock on the Canada site. Though after trying all my stems I actually like the shorty glass screen WPA the best. Might need to pick up a full size version of that.

Are there better screens to use than the ones the stems come with? Maybe a non basket screen with a bit of a cylinder around it that happens to fit the stems?

Finding they get so dirty after a single use I need to pop them out and brush them off each time. It's tempting to just swap screens each load and clean them all in ISO after I run out.

I've read some people torch them off but I'm guessing that will smell way too much.

I just use a chopstick to push the screen to the end of the adapter or stem, so it can be scrubbed with an ISO soaked toothbrush. I haven't replaced a screen for at least a year, probably much longer.

I just burned my screens with my gas stove or a torch comes out sparkling and takes about 3 seconds

I use a pencil to set the screen or pull it out which really good also

Ya been doing that too. Just using my xmax brush. Don't want to apply iso between loads, just with the regular cleaning.

They should really include a nice flat bottom wood chop stick in addition to the pick tool lol. So perfect for adjusting screens and giving a bit of a tamp down.

Does anyone have a sure fire why to contact Epic? I received one reply last week but no others since. I really could use the socket to see if I can repair my E-Nano.

I've emailed them before and they replied pretty quickly

I hold the screen with tweezers, then I light a bic lighter underneath. It burns off the residue, and the remaining charred bits can be knocked off with the tweezer's edge. I have been using the same screens for well over a year. You could call this my cheap bastard method.

I first emailed them a week ago. I last received a reply on Saturday. I have a broken E-Nano that I was hoping to fix and I need a part, which is what I wrote in my email. We are medical users with a broken vape we are trying to get fixed. Now you know the entire story.
Call, look on their contact page for the number.

Communication has been challenging for them. Sometimes it helps to tag @ACE OF VAPE and/or @nadia_epic here on the forum.

A log is really ideal and I would buy another E-Nano, probably the NXT but I missed the sales.

I am no electrician but I can't get power so I think something blew.
I had wondered all along why you haven't asked for warranty service. Is it too old? What did Epikai say?

My concern is that one of the wires that goes to the light is disconnected. Does it need to be connected to complete the circuit? I was able to get power but there was a pop and now I can't.

Sorry the photo isn't exactly right. If you click on it you can see it. I will edit if I figure it out.
