haha Dafni to each their own. i figured you meant that you cut the glass but was not sure how you would do that. seem like a good idea if you have experience cutting glass.

am i the only one who feels like using the silicone lowers vapor production? i tried using silicon to better secure the wand to the heater when hitting dry, seemed to function better with out it. nbd just my :2c:

For the Nano and similar vapes I make my own gongs and adapters. As for the Nano, I just cut the gongs apart and reconnect them with a short lenght of silicone tubing. Or put a gong in a likewise fashion into a suitable glass joint that I have lying around.
Always aiming for non restrictive adapters/screens/gong setups.

I use the OMNICRON tips.

My water set ups are Kicking My Shiny Metal A@@!
I haven't used this thing for more than a few days however I must say SIMPLE & EFFECT!

CHEAP and a no BRAINER!

The FLAVOR is really good.

LEVEL 8 was too harsh for me.
LEVEL 7 is were I'm currently at. (very powerful however smooth)
LEVEL 6 I plan to experiment with GSC.
Need to do some more in depth scientific study to quantify my findings!

Hi, I am very tempted to order, as the vast majority of the posts are positive.
Andy has replied to me, and I have got back to him with just a few more questions.
I guess now I need to decide on the wood to go for, so I am throwing this one out to owners of this vaporizer, I know that Cherry, Walnut and Maple are offered as standard.
So, my question is do the different woods affect the running temperatures? I like the idea of having as broad a range of possible temperatures as possible.
I already own a Purple-days so know about walnut, and I remember there was always allot of discussion on that thread about different woods and what difference they made to temperature.
Any feedback from existing owners would be very welcome.

There is no difference in the performance between woods with the E Nano because of the large steel insert. The wood is more of an insulating "shell" on this vape.

I vastly prefer the maple to the other types of wood but its just preference. I have a maple and walnut unit.

Hi, What makes you prefer the Maple over the other woods?
Also, although you say the wood makes no difference to temperature, if as you say it acts as an insulating shell surely it helps the vaporizer to maintain temperature. surely that means that different densities of wood have different insulating properties. Not that I am a wood expert or anything.

I should have been more clear. Andy, who makes them has said that the E Nano doesn't care what type of wood its paired with. The wood more or less keeps the steel insert from burning you, the E Nano is different from other vapes in this aspect. This type of heating element puts out so much heat that it doesn't need to be heavily insulated to maintain high temperatures like traditional logs that utilize a resistor for heat. The metal barrier between the airpath and wood negates some of the effect that the wood would have on the vapes performance. There MIGHT be a negligible difference between the woods, nobody has noticed anything yet from what I've seen/read and personally experienced.

I just like the look of maple, there is no difference between my two maple and walnut nano.

OK that's clear, thanks.
One last question regarding wood types, is one wood heavier than another? so is maple heavier than walnut etc?

Almost there...
The one thing that really stands out for me with this vape is it's ability to keep up with some of my friends!!
They pull on it like a tightly packed joint and it keeps up and produces amazing vapor clouds!
Most of them end up coughing up a lung!!
It is quite comical to watch...

Then they watch me do the same thing only slower and match their clouds with ease and no spluttering!!

Truly an all rounder vape that everyone should own!

Hi,
Does anyone know if the wooden mouth piece listed on the accessories page of epicvape.com for $6.95 is for the nano or the f2? the page doesn't actually seem to say.
Also, is it a complete stem or just a mouth piece that is to be fitted over an existing glass stem?

Its for the EV-2, look for the same mouthpiece in the complete whip kit for the EV-2
