I love my nano with a bubbler and whip. Yum!

Fit and Finish?

just bought a base-spec maple e-nano. the bottom plate is rotated by like 15 degrees, it's not vertically flush with the maple exterior (by maybe 0.5mm), the securing phillips head screws have CLEARLY been rounded off slightly (and there's only two, out of six pads), presumably from over-torquing.

the vape performs well enough, i just thought that if i were paying $200 for a vape it would be finished better than this. i understand that it's not a volcano, but if you're going to forego all the bells and whistles at least put it together at a higher quality level.

So what did the folks at Epic say when you contacted them?

I'm confused. I don't have any visible screws on my Nano. Can you post a pic?

You can buy the BlackLeaf J Hook also through Planetvape. It's $19.99. They are an FC sponsor.

I have some Platinum Girl Scout Cookies in my nano right now.

Edit
Just tried out my whip with the JoDa glass GonG, for the mouthpiece is an Ed's blood wood piece. I have an Ed's GonG that I use with my Solo. Thought I'd try it with the Enano. I had to just put the end of the whip inside of the GonG instead of the outside. It wouldn't fit on the outside. This is a whip that went with the Herbalizer. It worked pretty well.

The end didn't seem to get too hot on the whip since it was on the inside of the GonG,

i hadnt yet contacted them. i was initially going to ask the board if this was a common thing, to see if it was something i should complain about, and got sidetracked into complaining. i'll email them and see what they say.

for the other poster who asked, there are two screws under the cork feet.

Can i place the nano for a hole session ~ 15 min like that ?

You will probably be OK, the Nano is a tough little unit. On the other hand your glass may be at more risk using it as a vape holder, cords get tangled, unbalanced pieces fall over all those might and "could happen" things. In my case I am a glass assassin so the "could happen" is closer to will happen, I either pull the Nano off the glass, use a piece of whip between the glass and the unit or just go dry.

Just pulled the trigger on a fiddleback maple Nano, and I can barely contain my excitement. :D

With regards to water filtration, are there any opinions on this versus a more traditional bubbler?

I love this phrase.

You're sure you didn't mean "ass assassin" though?

Wow great that envy !!! : D
I have the cart ready to shoot ... but for bad purchases of the past now it is time to wait to recover money ... I hope in a short time to order mine ... ains ....

@dgmulf Enjoy it and wait for your arrival good

You'll eventually get one of each. Tonight I'm using my 10" bubbler.

I was leary at first from folks saying the hydrotube leaks and the weed will fall out if you flip the gong upside down. But for me, it's an easy to use, little pip-squeak bubbler. I love it.

In fact, I just bought a back-up. Stoner fingers don't you know. :goat:

Make sure you don't cough into your water tube and don't overfill.
It's great to have a variety of glass you can use with your vaporizers. I personally prefer a bubbler. The water tubes are nice and small. I have a few that I bought through vaperblunt when they had a sale for the Pinnacle Pro tubes - $50 a piece. That was before I discovered DHgate.

Everyone is talking about whips but I just added a hydratube to the family so I wouldn't have to use tubing anymore. (I like gravity and airflow to be in opposite direction when using concentrates.) Now I can finally use the nano right side up or upside down without the use of tubing. @dgmulf I think this hydratube below is a much better option if you decide to get a hydratube.

Been using a water tool exclusively for years, and totally forgot that I own a dry stem too. Man, the dry stem is a nice little change up. So much more vapor and it's more minimalist which is always a plus for me. Gonna try to use the dry stem exclusively for a couple weeks before going back to water.

I think folks like to use the nano in a variety of ways. Sometimes it's fun to just try something new out. I don't use water filtration all the time. I find that dry is usually my method of vaporizing with the adjustable stem. Whatever way works for you is the right way.
I agree completely. I usually prefer dry, but using water filtration is a nice change of pace.
