Hey ataxia, did you move the screen a bit? I notice you pack a lot more bud than I do maybe thats why you're getting more hits?
I fill my GonG full however loose packed.Hey ataxia, did you move the screen a bit? I notice you pack a lot more bud than I do maybe thats why you're getting more hits?
I prefer a finer grind but don't compress. more airflow is better. use smaller amounts until you get used to it. keep your screen ckeanLol bro you're awesome thanks for the quick response, I'm using the 18/19 mm gong adapter I believe, I would like to learn and replicate the way you're doing it right now, I appreciate the details, I'm using the e-nano pick currently the way CarloKing showed in her picture, using the low end side, Its barely filled though
Also I noticed the space case so are you saying you recommend the coarse grind?
I have a smaller grinder like you and I feel it can grind pretty fine,
But then again how do you define course and fine?
My grinder grinds it very soft so I can compress it quite well? is that fine?
I've used powder grind up to full nuggets. The nano powers through it all. The finer the grind the less you should pack it to ensure good airflow, which is necessary for proper extraction.Lol bro you're awesome thanks for the quick response, I'm using the 18/19 mm gong adapter I believe, I would like to learn and replicate the way you're doing it right now, I appreciate the details, I'm using the e-nano pick currently the way CarloKing showed in her picture, using the low end side, Its barely filled though

Garden Vapor Station for outside (day time)
Is that the J-Hook attached to your ash catcher??
That is just sick, I have 2 ash catchers I'm not using but Have thought about using just like you have.
Seeing it done is *brain explodes*
Wondering where I can get or order that, Not too patient would love to pick a piece like that up at the local hs, I love my bong but its too big and unwieldy with the e-nano and I feel my ash catchers would house the e-nano better as it would sit on top in the middle vs on the side with the bong making it feel like its gonna tip over (it has, I caught it before it fell)
I have the blue one from dhgate I think it was $28?Ataxia what kinda water pipe is that? I'll probably order it tonight
Looking to get yours been scouring the web, here is a similar one but I like yours better, hope you get back to me soon so I can order, I like this style because I feel the e-nano will fit much nicer on it
Let's be clear!I've used powder grind up to full nuggets. The nano powers through it all. The finer the grind the less you should pack it to ensure good airflow, which is necessary for proper extraction.
Finer grind leads to quicker, thicker vapor production, with faster loss of flavor. Nuggets provide the best flavor but don't produce as much vapor per hit in my experience. You will get more hits overall, but each one will be weaker.
I tend to use about a medium grind that is very fluffy. The nano will work with any grind, play around and see how it affects performance.
One thing I recommend to new users is only changing one thing at a time until you are familiar with what it does.
Also, if you are using high temperatures you will actually get fewer hits in. That is probably why @ataxian is getting more hits than you. Quality of cannabis also makes a big difference.
The temp makes a big difference though. Think of the chamber like a bottle of beer. There is only so much material inside. A low temp hit is like taking a sip of beer, you will get many sips per bottle. If you use a high temp it's like chugging the beer, so you will have fewer total drinks or hits. I hope that makes sense.
At temp 7 I get 1-2 huge hits usually, at temp 6.5 I can get 3-4 big hits, and I can get a lot of small hits at temp 6 and below.
The only real way to get "more" hits is to load more material (a bigger beer), get better material (higher alcohol content beer), or lower the temp and take smaller hits (sipping the beer).
I say embrace the one hitter nature of a high temp nano. It almost reminds me of my one hitter bat I had back in the day. It's so fast to dump a load and reload, less than 5 seconds for me. I can go through multiple chambers in the time it takes a lot of vapes to heat up.
Thanks for distilling my verbosity down to a nice, easy to understand format.Let's be clear!
A. High heat tiny pack lots of air flow = fewer hits diminished flavor shorter session
B. Lower heat full bowl loose pack = lot's of hit's such awesome flavor longer session
Whatever you can afford or need?
Your definition of CIVILIZED is all that matter's!
The glass fixed screen with a Stainless Steel filter to keep the plant material at bay!I was trying to find some info on something like a carb built in,
I had the grab labs phoenix ash catcher and loved it how It had a separate cap to carb the whole thing instead of removing the slide,
Wondering what other options because I love using my bong but I'm liking how your your mouth pieces are angled and different shaped vs the bong (leaves a bad taste on lips)
On a usage note
I was experimenting more with the slide and pushed it down a bit to pack more,
I was beginning to enjoy the vape hits more and more at 7 but I figure I was gonna fully "extract" it on 10...
Well a few things went wrong,
1. I Packed too much and it was touching the heater element... (more on that)
2. I Had the temp way too high
3. Did I mention it was touching the heater element
So what ended up happening was I began taking a slow draw and was liking how there was more smoke building up and the hit felt more fuller then all of a sudden I saw the clouds milking in the bong just spike and almost a different color and then I realized what happened...
Lol It was kinda like realizing the condom ripped..
I had gotten my Haze V3 On Tuesday and the E-Nano On Thursday and have been vaping since not wanting to combust because of the difference in effects and read when trying to make the switch to just give up combusting completely. Some even recommended to not smoke/vape altogether which I contemplated but... lol... neh. So a lil upset with myself for letting that happen but oh well.
I'm gonna contact Epicvape to see if i can get the dry glass mouthpiece with the adjustable screen as I paid for the glass screen and am not liking it, debris gets through and ack, just not pleasant.
Will use it at much lower setting -> probably 8 to prevent combustion as well as packing it so the element doesn't touch
I was wondering who here prefers it dry then with the water pieces?
Ataxian, can you tell me how you get that mouthpiece to work? Its pretty sweet, wanna learn how you made it work,

Sounds like you are picking up the nano just fine! I agree about the delayed effect with low temps.FWIW, I'm still working out all the finesse of the E-nano, but I'm currently enjoying this strategy:
1. Start with lowish temp (around 5) to get a few small to medium hits with crazy good flavor. Not sure if it's the E-nano or the strain, but this seems to have a delayed effect. Like I feel only the slightest of effects after the hit(s), but 5-15 minutes later, there it is! Minimal visible vapor here.
2. Next turn up to 6 or 6.5, go again. Only good for maybe one medium-ish rip with good flavor, but appears to be plenty of active magic left in the flowers. Noticeable clouds here. Only downside is flavor drops off rapidly.
3. Maybe crank all the way up to 7 and see if anything is left. Burnt popcorn flavor here, but my goal is to extract everything out of the flower for maximum efficiency.
Note: all the above is dry/direct-draw. Waiting on delivery of my bubbler.
Everything I do at my job requires me to change only one thing at a time. I've tried to live that philosophy for as long as I can remember. Yet, as a new E-nano user, I managed to forget that. Thanks for the helpful reminder!
When I was a young gun dry (JOINTS) were all I could handle.I use my Enano most of the time dry. Water can take away some of the taste from your flowers. I do use water but probably only 10% of the time, if that. You will combust folks say at too high of heat. I never have but I've never gone higher than 7.5 with water.
My dry temp is between 6 and 6.5 but I do sessions about 10 draws or so over 10 min. I do like the adjustable stems over the fitted glass ones.
You can use a water tool dry.
I use a j hook a lot. I used to use water more. I bought my two Blackleaf jhooks ($20 each)from Planetvape.
Your my IDOL!I've been vaping on some mango the last week or so. I love indicas with the nano set 6.5 to 7.
"Quick, give him the setagive!"- a shout out to Gene (and Marty)
I think you got it right. Turn the heat back down. If they were 2 big draws then you cashed it. Empty and refill it. Maybe add a little more. 1/2 cm sounds like a very small load so maybe you can go bigger. Build up slow and don't move the screenMy first 2 draws through the dry stem were good with visible vapor but after that, I was getting no visible vapor at all. I packed a small amount so that the heating element had like 1/2 cm space between itself and the herb. Eventually just kept cranking the temperature up to ten with no results....But I am high.
WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?!?!
