SSV w/ Standard HC, LSV HC, thermovape all,
I feel like I'm the only one using silicone with my nano! All you guys are havin troubles with all this glass and I'm sittin here havin fun choppin up new "bowls" out of everything! Right now my favorite is about 2 inches of UD thick silicone( have found it to seal better than the thin stuff Andy sends) and a 14mm whip adapter shoved in the other end. Lots of room between herb and heater so the hits are just as smooth as the glass bowls Andy offers. I also made a micro hit bowl. All I did was take a coned shaped bowl and stuffed 1cm of silicone inside of it, but the silicone has a triangular slit halfway up it. This lets it cone into the shape of the bowl. So it goes from 3/8 to about a 1/4 where your herbs are, now that's my conserving bowl and kief bowl.

I want to try the silicon, It makes a more airtight seal i bet,
therefore probably fatter milkier hits?

Almost there...
What i have just done is cut about an inch of the E-Nano supplied tubing
and slip that over the end of the glass mesh stem.
It seals it nice and tight around the external shroud of the heater.
When you draw you can actually hear the air being brought up from the very bottom of the heater.

So technically it is still GonG...

Works very well with a little Killing Fields!!!
Nice and toasty and medicated for now!

YAY!!

The extra glass-screened stem and the 14mm GonG arrived today!

Andy, you package things VERY well! Bomb proof doesn't even cover it. Nice.

I'm a happy girl...

I had to watch that video twice to take in the fact that you just used the adapter like a straw

My E Nano landed today! I would like to thank Andy for packaging my vape so well and the USPS for not canceling Saturday deliveries, they made my day. The walnut looks great, but mine didn't come with a logo. I'm like 99% sure I didn't check the box when I ordered, but I could really care less about that. I didn't realize how small this vape was going to be, it made me like it even more. The plastic around the dial seems to be a little brittle, other than that it seems like a solid vape.

The stem and waterpipe adapter are nice, I told myself that I'd use the stem first but I couldn't resist the lure of the GonG adapter. I only have direct inject pieces and no female to female adapter so I improvised. I had some vinyl tubing laying around that I boiled and cut about 1/2 inch off. The male pieces fit snugly together in the tube and the airpath isn't exposed to the tubing because the joints sit flush. It'll work until I break down and buy an adapter; I've seen female Solo stems, we need some for logs. I just pull the E Nano and leave the adapter on, it clears good. I've only used the GonG but the flavor is great and it hits so smooth, need to use the stock stem though. I loaded up even less than I would normally use in the NO2 and was toasted. Definitely worth the wait!

I've tried to be very careful with my nano when handling it, and I store it in a plush bag inside of a roomy wooden compartment. I just took a look at my dial, and the plastic around it has already cracked. :ugh:

I don't know how it happened, but it's there. I don't think it will affect functionality, but I'd suggest being extra-careful (since " very careful" wasn't enough, lol) with the plastic around the dial.

I had a previous post about my dial being completely cracked up. I just electrical taped it up and it's been just fine! So I wouldn't worry about it.

it won't affect the performance but if it bothers you send it back and I'll replace it.

No; that's ok, but I appreciate the offer Andy!

One question I had was about the glue/plastic in front of the blue light. On one of my nanos, the glue extends beyond the little hole. Would it be a bad idea to trim this down (with a nailclipper, or something) in order to make it flush with the opening?

It's not glue. There is no glue on any Epicvape products. It's the end of the glass bulb. You can't trim it. You can push it in VERY gently if it bothers you.

Hey Nano gang, I'm catching up on this thread and I gotta say it's been a very interesting read.

All those raving reviews and Andys quick and friendly email replies made me confident enough to place an order for an E-Nano.

Now I'm very excited to try it and I can't wait to get it.

Keep the pictures and videos coming, guys.

cheers to all

Yesterday, I finally grabbed the itty bitty scale, and weighed what I'm sticking in the stem.

I got completely, totally, fabulously stoned, on .04 gram of Chocolate Chunk

That was probably 5 or 6 serious hits (at one point, I discovered myself watching the vapor flowing through the stem, fascinated at the sight... until I realized that I was like an overfilled balloon!), with great vapor, over about 6 hours of complete relaxation.

Plus, being able to just wander over to the table, greet the dragon, set the stem back down and wander away, is just wonderful.

Less is more. When I overstuff the stem (about .1 gram), it seems to vape unevenly, and doesn't seem to hit as hard. I also have tried little whole buds, and a finer grind, but I get the best results from a nice light shredding in the SCS. I drop it in, and gently tap the end of the stem on the counter (on a cloth) to settle it. That's it.

^^^ I want to see this chocolate chunk you've been talking about so much.

I'm still experimenting with my E Nano but I can safely say that I love it. Everyone who's tried it approves of the vape, nobody's had anything bad to say yet and I beg people to pick it apart.

My standard gong cooks the buds in the center more than the outside, the pinch to hold the screen causes the airflow to be directed towards the center. Ripping the nano on the bong probably doesn't help either, its just so much fun taking huge hits. I still haven't gotten around to using the wand so I can't compare. But it definitely works better with a less bud. I've been using my NO2 scoop to measure my loads.

This was me when I first got my Nano. Give the glass wand a try, it's my new preferred method.
While I have ordered (and received) the GonG, I still haven't even bothered to try it with a water piece... the hits I'm getting using the stem are incredible enough!

Though, I am still shopping for the perfect bubbler for it...
