I tried so many vaporizers however the NANO was better than all of them.
I have a LOTUS as well.
MY NANO is alway on!
6 is my level right now.
ICY OG, ANIMAL COOKIES, ELECTRIC BANANA OG. I have more however need to take it easy!
Can anyone describe the risks, if any, of leaving the nano plugged in 24/7, even when no one's home? I mean, this thing gets very hot at the tip? I would just worry about leaving it out and running.
"peak performance" is when the whole unit reaches a kind of "thermal equilibrium" or in other words it's heated all the way through (wood is warm) enough so that the nano will be able to maintain a solid temp no mateer how much you hit it.
That being said if I was only able to vape in the cold garage I'd look into a nice portable.
We have different needs and medicate for different reasons!"Better" is so subjective... I love my nano and is always on as well, it does many things great, but to say it is "better than all" is a stretch as all my vapes do certain things better than one another. In your example of Lotus to Nano, I would argue that flavor is better with the Lotus with every single strand I have. Flavor is still great with the Nano but in the flavor department, but it doesn't compete with me versus the Lotus flavor...
None! As others said above, just go for it and out it out of the way of pets.
If I want to use the E Nano with a 14mm water attachment that has a male end (dab rig), then I would need this attachment, correct?
I'm sure this was covered somewhere in this thread but I just want to be sure before purchasing.

Thanks for the encouragement! I started my vape journey on a portable a few years ago, got rid of that because I quit MJ for awhile. Just got my second portable a week and a half ago after quitting combusting for good. I'm happy with my current portable unit, I only worry about long term reliability. I started to want a second unit or at least a second battery. After thinking about it I started to consider a home unit and read up on many before choosing the e-nano. I'm confident I picked the best option for my needs, especially considering I plan on always owning at least one portable. I'm not a fan of the MFLB for many reasons, but this is not the time or place to discuss that.@Vapor_Eyes Only you can decide what is right for you. The Nano has many satisfied customers. Often folks have a portable as well as a desktop. Many of us have several vaporizers but find the Nano is our fav while at home.
Sometimes a portable is necessary you will have to decide what fits your lifestyle. Maybe even a Magic Flight Launch Box? I didn't like it personally but a lot of others do. This is the nano thread, I say no more.
Good luck finding what fits your needs.
Have fun getting ripped durt!
If anyone has suggestions to break in my nano let me know! I've been doing my research, I think I'm prepared.
I am looking forward to it! Today is pretty slow in the office, the next 5 hours will feel like an eternity!
Should I try the e-nano dry first? Or drive right into my d020-d?
Might try a bowl at 6 for flavor then another bowl at 7 to get some nice production.

so I've been using the nano since Feb. it's the daily driver and serves me well.
Sadly my wood cracked and now the power plug is loose.
Has anyone else had this issue and is there by any chance an easy fix ?
and/or should I just ignore it. My concern is that every time I place he nano in it's wooden base the plug gets knocked a little looser due to the crack.
That sucks. This is not very common, but wood does crack. It's unpredictable, even trained experts turning wood on lathes for 40 years cannot predict which pieces will crack.Sadly my wood cracked and now the power plug is loose.

This is the best dish I have found to fill the straight glass nano tube.
Think you're on the right track. I'd suggest dry first. If you can wait, put it at 10 for 10 minutes, then drop it down to 5.75 for another 10. It can take a few for it to get down to temp from 10, too. Grind and load a small load in the stem (only about 4-5mm high in tube). Flavor should be amazing! Finish that up, and maybe bump it up a bit along the way. Set nano at 6.5 and get your D020 and GonG load ready, then enjoy some nice water tamed vapor!
I suggest the lower temps, because is better to take temp up on a load than down. Easy to bump it up and IME small temp changes (1/4 setting or so) only take a minute or two. And, analog nano dials aren't known to be exact from one to the next. Yours may run a bit hotter or cooler than others. No worries.... whatever your 6.5 is should always stay the same on yours, it might just be a bit of a different temp than on mine.
Thanks for the advice! I'm really hoping the nano can help me cut back on consumption. I usually put ~0.4g in my volcano (a few bags throughout the day), I can't wait to try using 1/8 of that in the nano! Don't get me wrong - I love my volcano and it gets me incredibly medicated, but the idea of a highly efficient, quick session is what intrigued me about log vapes.
This will be my second desktop unit; I have a volcano at home, as well as a pax2 & air as my portables. I also have a ti grasshopper pre-ordered. My vaporizer family is growing and I couldn't be happier
I'll probably turn my unit up to 10 for 10 minutes, then turn it down to 6.5 for another 15 minutes just to make sure it's hot (but not too hot)
I wouldn't leave it at max temp... but, mine runs 24/7 at anything between 5.5 - 7. No problems, ever.
I'd keep it out of reach of children, pets, make sure the cord can't be tripped over, etc.
I've had mine for a couple of years now, running constantly. Hmm... 2.5 years. Never an issue.*
*not with running 24/7. Did have to redo the inner connections, but not from leaving it on.
