THANKS SO MUCH FOR THIS!! Really appreciate the open, honest and detailed review. Guess I'll continue to keep my eye out for one in the wild so I can try it or a good price here in the classifieds, but think it is going down a notch or two on my possible vape additions

Yeah no problem!

I don't know if you should knock it down though! :D It really does work amazingly well! The extracted abv is so damn brown I doubt there is even a point to me saving it.

So if you're not into edibles, the herbalaire is PERFECT.

Will keep that in mind. Still anxiously awaiting my turn on the HI list and LSV keeps calling me too, but will keep HA on my short list.

Just so there isn't any confusion..... don't see my nano EVER falling out of the rotation - or honestly being knocked from being my daily driver! Still have much love for her. I just have this damned VAS issue , and think I've maxed out on portables for a while. (VAS = vape acquisition syndrome)

Ok when I first came to this forum, you guys talked about VAS and I figured I wouldn't be one of "those people" but I so have it too!

My buddy at work brought his portable vape one morning and I loved it! It was so easy and convenient, just being able to go out in the parking lot and hit it.

So now I'm thinking I actually might sell my herbalaire for a portable!:whoa:

Ahhhh yes... the troubles of VAS and vape addiction! What portable was it if you don't mind me asking?

Also... think you're OK here (tho not positive), but be careful about mentioning selling in a general thread. Classifieds only for that sort of thing, and think it is a bit of a delicate issue with the mods. Understandably so, and no complaints from me. Just something to keep in mind that I see others get warned about. And, it is in the FC rules. Think IM's are fine, though.

Best advice I've seen all week!! Start at any of the many points you see are favorites from others here (2-3 hit extraction method for me of course!). Tweak a little here and there with screen height, heat settings, draw speed, different bubblers, different grinds and whatever else. After some work - or I guess I should say play :) - you'll start to get a better feel for what you personally like. From there you have your own base to start from, and adjust as your situation or mood strikes you.

Massdrop recent orderer here, just waiting for my E-Nano to be shipped and arrive. What you are describing is exactly why I ordered the Nano and why I think i'll enjoy it. I've been a MFLB user for a year and I've tried a few more expensive and "easier" to use Vapes and I just do not like them as much as I like my MFLB. I think that is because I had to learn and master my own personal technique to make the MFLB sing to me. I think I will find the same experience with the E-Nano. There can't be one device that is perfect for everyone so that's why I feel a learning and adjusting curve on devices like this make them much more enjoyable and personal to the end user. This is all analog, the user is the computer, no chips needed, no processors. Just you, the wood/glass/steel/ceramic, the vapor... It feels so organic to use a Vape this way.

Has one of you an idea what setup would fit a person the best with COPD? (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) I want to introduce my mom into vaping, but I don't want to give her a bad experience with cannabis, she's a first time user and could really benefit from vaping :/
Don't quote me because i'm not a doctor, but I think people with COPD already have compromised ability to absorb oxygen from the air they breath. I know that at least temporarily when you Vape you are filling and coating the inside of your lungs with the hot Vaporized extracted material.... You've seen how this stuff can coat and cling to the inside of a glass stem/bong etc. I think for most of us vaping is no where near an issue as smoking as we will just cough and break loose or absorb anything like that gets into our lungs. I'm just wondering if it will be more of an issue for someone with COPD. However you can still absorb Cannabinoids through your skin, mucus membranes etc. It takes a little longer but is still pretty effective maybe introduce her to a Vaping technique similar to Cigar smoking. That is you inhale and just fill the inside of your mouth to absorb the taste and not taking it all the way in your lungs. And then just let that sit awhile and exhale the Vapor. This may take a little longer than taking it all the way in the lungs but if you experiment it may work out pretty good for you. just a thought.

Most people find the experience much kinder to their system if you get rid of the duff itself. Extract the goodies and strain or separate. If I don't it gives my tummy quite a hurtin

I guess i'm lucky, plain ABV capsules make me burp a little, and I get a little rumbly on occasion, but nothing to complain about. I read the processes involved to make ABV infused coconut oil and just feel like it's so much work, I can load my gel caps with my little 24 count cap filler in like 2 minutes. Yesterday I was wrecked for the better part of the day (about 8 hours), by metering out only 3 total ABVcaps about every 2 hours. I originally did like 8, then I dropped it down to 5, then 4. Yesterday was just 3 and still was amazed at how messed up it got me. Actually a little too loopy as I was working lol

Hey guys, just got my e-nano in and was really excited to try it out, but it seems my stem opening is a little too small and I can't get it to fit over the heater. I was wondering if this is manufacturer error, or if you're supposed to just hold the stem over the heater ssv style. Thanks in advance!

If your stem won't fit on the oven it sounds like you may have a faulty stem. The stem should fit right on the oven. You should n't have to hold it over the heater, I don't have a ssv so I wouldn't know about that.
The stem will fit loose. If you turned the unit up side down without holding on to it, it would fall and break.

It sounds like Epicvape is on a bit of a vacation, which everyone deserves. Not sure if they are answering phones? I would try calling on Monday.

Sort of, but not quite. I have and have used an MFLB for 5 years or so. It is very personal in how it hits, but takes some technique to get it to work well at all. Think this is why many are upset with it when they first get one.

However, the nano is very simple to use right out of the box. Not hard to get vapor at all. But, it is also very versatile with many ways to adjust and tweak. This allows it to become a very personal vape also, but the tweaking and adjusting is secondary.

To put my oil onto. I was thinking of using small wire-screens I've had for my pipes and just rolling them up to hold onto the wax as a wick while it's vaporizing.

In regards to the ABV caps giving you gas, use coconut oil. It eases the burden on your liver.

Was wondering the same about wire-mesh screens. I guess this could work, but would probably be pretty sloppy. You're going to want something that will hold your concentrates once they melt to goo (and they all probably will with nano). Might be better off with cotton or degummed hemp fiber. I've had some success using stainless steel wool that I pulled from special high tech kitchen scrubbies. According to some, the best thing to use is pads designed for concentrates for other vapes (Volcano, Aromed or Herbalizer). I've been meaning to get something like this, but haven't yet. IIRC the Herbalizer ones are the cheapest option. And, some or all of these may require some clipping or shredding to fit into nano GonG.

EDIT: Links for all but Aromed can be found in this post . Aromed pads can be found here. May be other sources for all, but found these links pretty easily.

Have also thought about rigging something up with a VapMan concentrate screen, but haven't tried it and no concentrates to play with atm. Soon though, I hope!

Uh Oh! This doesn't sound good. The heat port should fit into the stem about 1/4 " +/-. @The Stranger had the same issue with his I think. If it is, the stem you have isn't right, but can be used with some care and tweaks. Take a look at his posts some pages back for more info. But, you're going to want to contact EpicVape and get a replacement. Only thing is, I don't think there is anyone in the office there until mid week (7/14 IIRC). Write to Nadia at nadia@epicvape.com . She'll get you hooked up. Or, call the 800 number on the website after 7/14.

Yes! Am sure they will send another stem once you get ahold of them.

AND... Oh shit!!!! Can't believe I forgot.... Welcome to FC and the nano nation!!!! Damn vaping makes me stupid sometimes, ya know?

Thanks for the advice guys. The problem is, the other side is also too tight, so I think I'll just use it as is for now and shoot nadia an email.

Like I said.... check out @The Stranger 's posts from like end of June or so. He had same issue, and pretty sure there was some discussion on how to make it work OK with what you have.

@Neceros ... Did you get it yet? No need to answer if you're already playing with it. We'd all understand!

Haha I just came back to report!

I did get it and it's fucking amazing. I can use that word here because it's an emphasis!

I've tried it with the gong and with the stem. I have a lot of experimenting to do, but I got really high off of just a tiny bit of weed. I'm so surprised and pleased. I will take glorious pictures of her when I get some more free time soon.

Beautiful walnut. The taste is amazing. Doesn't taste like ass-vape (some vapes do), I can taste the actual oil on the plant! Still dialing in the temps and screen spacing, but that's actually quite enjoyable.

Is this bag made of hemp? It smells nice.

Because of my bad lungs I have a really hard time hitting pipes or any vapor that isn't a little cool, but I can use this stem no problem! It's got enough space that it actually cools a bit before it reaches me. Very pleased.

Is the hype about this vape for real? Disregard how easy it is to hook up to glass and all that.. is a great vape by itself?
I've sold my herbalizer and am in the need of a plug in that is very efficient and get me where I need to be.

I have a Toro that I could hook this up to if I wanted to, but I think I prefer vaping straight from the device. Oddly enough, I have narrowed it down to this or the cloud evo lol. They say it taste amazing but does it taste better than a enano?

Maybe not the most believable coming from me - since I generate hype here all the time - but yes! It is that good of a vape. Haven't tried one myself, but the Cloud Evo sounds like a fine vape also.

I'd still get the nano first. Why? Cheaper, simple design less prone to problems in the future, takes the smallest amount of material to get you there, wood is just lovely and very discrete sitting on an end table. Again.. can't speak for taste of the Cloud EVO having never tried one myself, but nano can produce VERY tasty vapor. The way I use mine I get 2 or 3 wonderful tasty hits off a very small load. Then it is done and time to dump and reload. IIRC Cloud doesn't do this as well, requiring a larger load for optimal performance. So... if you're looking for taste and efficiency in a small but lovely wooden package, nano is the way to go.

Excellent!! Yep, plenty of fun practice and learning in your future, but hard to do all in one day! :D

Think the bag is muslin/cotton if the same as they have been. DON'T VAPE IT!!!

Bet you didn't really believe us on just how great the taste is, huh? Is it fucking amazing or what?!?!

Now get at it and learn how to work her like she wants to be worked. :)

Taste and efficiency is important to me, but what makes this different than other log vapes?

Taste and efficiency is important to me, but what makes this different than other log vapes?

From what I have seen and read, taste and efficiency is common to most - if not all - log vapes.

Major difference of this one is that it is native AC power and has a built in dial. Downside is that you can't get a battery pack hookup and take it out and about (though you can use it from a car with an AC converter). Upside is that you don't need to get a variable voltage power supply in addition to your vape to be able to adjust temps easily. One other consideration..... Think UnderDog and Heat Island are the only two other log vapes being produced now. Both are DC powered (can just use a typical wall wort, or get the VVPS I mention above for adjustable power/heat). But, HI has a hell of a waiting list. I've been on it myself for 15 -16 months already.
