A while back I said I was going to begin testing the sr-71 coils grade 2 titanium in the Nano stems for concentrates. I think I'm having great success and recommend them over the s/s and o/c.
There's a hole in the center of the coil I rolled up a stainless steel screen and bent it in half fill the hole the coil was a little bit too big I had to squish it a little to fit it in the stem.I inserted the coil from the mouthpiece and you have complete adjustability.I hope this helps anybody interested:ko:

Bonus as the coil gets loaded up with errll mega tasty rips off the Gr-2 titanium:nod:

Those look like the sr74, not sr71. I believe the st 71 is stainless steel. Great idea, I will give it a try. Do you have to use the highest heating setting to Vape shatter? Convection dabbing sounds good.

If God is the answer, then the question is wrong
I have my nano for 1 month now, I was shy and used it "low temps" (6.5-7) for leafs and because of this I find clouds werent as impressives as expected.
I tried 7,5-8 and clouds were huges and ABV dark reddish - brown without any burning risk. Maybe is because of winter or stepdown converter but I find my sweet spot is on higher dial number than most of peaple here.

Btw it was long time since enano thread stayed silent for more than 12 hrs.

@Andreaerdna I have two of these. Either they are unique or their thermostat dials are calibrated differently. They run between 0.5 and 1 unit different from each other, and the exact discrepancy depends on which controller they are plugged into.

So any numbers anyone mentions here should be just considered a good starting point. As long as your favorite setting is reasonably in line with what others use, you're good. I'd only be concerned if I was combusting at 5 or not getting any vapor above 8.

Check for Ed's TnT in the search engine- he makes beautiful wood stems which add to the beauty of vapes. I don't have an enano (yet) and this is an enano thread so apologies to enano fans- I do have an UD. I bought that because the one I bought was much cheaper than an enano and came with 4 stems. The couple who run it have never taken longer than 48 hours to respond and even sent me free equipment to adjust the temperature.
(I still plan on getting an enano at some point and am on the HI list. I love the log vapes.)

I know about ED's Tnt stems , really beautiful workmanship. I'm just curious, why would you get a Enano if you have a under dog already? Don't they both operate almost the same way? I currently have a Solo & Extreme Q & was thinking about selling the EQ for a log vape as I'm looking for something more efficient but not sure if to get a Enano or a UD.

I don't know actually. I'm totally happy with my UD- I especially like that it came with a gong option. I guess I just like to collect and I especially like log vapes.

I've got two E-Nano's, but if I had chosen the UD, I would have two of those instead. I knew I wanted a second log vape and wanted all my bits and pieces to work with both.

My power cord is starting to do the intermittent cutting out thing. Darn.
I just had to send mine in for the same problem.

Did I miss something in the thread about this previously? Is there a known issue? I just received my brand new Nano a couple of weeks ago, and it's been great, but the connection to the Nano is a bit wonky, and I swear it cuts out from time to time without me knowing it, but the light is always on so i'm not sure if it's my imagination and I just need to dial up the heat higher? Great customer service by Andy, sending me out another cord!

I absolutely fucking LOVE the velcro strap with the new cords! I actually loop the cord with the velcro around the neck of my bubbler and have zero issues with cord management now.

I would definitely upgrade your EQ to a Nano (unless you like bags then keep the EQ as well). I went with the Nano over the UD simply due to not needing a separate bulky power supply as well as the much faster heat up time. Best vape ever.

and, yes, I will contact Andy (actually Nadia) and get my "Level Up" done, as well.

Now I wish I had a backup...

It is painful for the time it's in the shop! I'd try to muddle through until Andy is back in town. Mine was intermittent and got progressively worse as I wiggled it to get it to work, so I got all I could out of it before sending. I sent mine and had it back in 8 days. New cord/dial, some other upgrades to bring my year+ nano up to current spec and a beautiful clean-up/polish. If you have never sent it in, there are a few more updates you should request that have been done internally since I think you first got yours.

@biohacker - this is a known, but seems rare, issue with V1 nanos. Pretty sure @Enchantre has one of these, too. They are the original shorter cord attached version (first 50 or 75? prob not many more if this many). Can't speak to the detachable cord models because I don't have one (yet!), but I'd check with the man himself after 2/10.

Thanks bro, i'll know better once I receive the new cord, or give the Nano some more use... I still think it was my imagination or temp at the time, I just don't see how it could be intermittent when the light never cuts out, even if I wiggle the cord at the nano end. Fucking love my Nano. Just bought the LSV, and there is absolutely no comparison even though it's "sort of" like a giant Nano. The Nano blows it away IMO!

Yeah... If I were you I'd try a new cord first. Not sure how weather is where you are, but ambient room temp will affect performance. Really not sure if this is because heater working harder in cool environment, or if because glass and material is cooler - so requires more heat. Probably combination of these factors. On a VERY loose scale, my nano needs about 1/4 notch bump for every 15-20 F degrees drop in temp. Could just be that or a wonky dial. From what I've seen here and personal experience, more serious issues shut it all the way down (and light will flicker or just go out with cord movement).

I believe the heater and the light are wired in parallel to the power. If that's true, it is theoretically possible that the light would remain on even if the heater was not.

My Nano has been running non-stop between 6 and 7 for several months now without a single problem

Good to know about the LSV, I was looking at them out of curiosity, but I really don't need any more vapes right now!

Can you post the pic of the dark reddish brown Abv. I want to see if it looks like the abv after my session. I find 7.5 doesnt combust but turns a dark brown abv in just two pulls from a water tool, I throw it in the jar after. I think like someone had mentioned, that atmosphere temp has alot to do with the equation. With my box vaporizer I had to turn the temp up one full number in winter. Just because the room was a little cooler. with the e nano not so much. And then again, its the contribution to you finding your sweetspot.

I'd anecdotally confirm this. My husband has a thing with fans. I freaking hate them, but he has to have one blowing on him all the time. :myday: So when my husband is home, on goes the fan in the living room, which coincidently blows in the direction of the enano on the table. I've found that when he's home and that fan is running, I have to knock the temp up a bit and prewarm my stems a little bit before I draw.

Does the nano really have a problem or did you just get a faulty cord? Now I'm a bit cautious about getting a nano. Funny thing is I just bought the EQ like a week ago, not a big fan about the bags, I rather conserve and get a more efficient vaporizer, the EQ is a bud hog requires too much. Don't they have a newer updated version of the UD where the bulky power supply is no longer needed? They also advertise a 2 minute heat up time.

@$un I hope you don't give up on the E-Nano because a, few people have had to use the warranty or have taken advantage of an upgrade program that is completely free and something that is bordering on above and beyond. I'm contrast, if the American company that sold me my Chinese made Firefly discovered a design flaw two years down the road, I cannot imagine expecting them to upgrade my old vaporizer like Andy is doing.

In the end, Andy takes good care of his customers. If you are like me and simply cannot be without this specific device for medical reasons, do what I did: buy two!

Also, we need to step back and remember that is OK for skilled artisans to run their cottage industry businesses not a bit like like Amazon or Target. Frankly, I'm shocked that the first Chinese made log vape hasn't appeared on the scene. Sooner or later, someone's going to fly to China with a Log vape in their carry on bag and come home with ten thousand clones built for five bucks a piece. When that happens and the rest of the world discovers these, Andy will be busier and more popular than ever when there is a larger group of people seeking out the original real deal.

I just bought one two weeks ago. It works perfectly, has zero learning curve, looks great, takes up almost no space on my coffee table, conserves material more than any desktop I've used so far, and, above 7 on the dial, produces buckets of vapor.

Caution is good, but don't be nervous about the Nano. It's so great that I almost have nothing to say about it...except how great it is.

Definitely get the Nano @$un ! Mine works fine, but i'm keeping an eye on it due to a brain fart or two i've had a couple of days ago.. AFAIK the Nano is essentially bombproof! My v1 worked flawlessly and this v2 is working great as of now. I've just had a couple of instances where I expected vapour, and received none, so it could totally be operator error, or a short in the cord, in which a replacement has already been shipped out.

The EQ was one of my first vapes, and enjoyed it for years, but the Nano kicks the living lights out of it (for me). Everything you have stated points to the Nano! You're right, the EQ can be a weed hog...... the complete OPPOSITE of the Nano!

Customer service is very important to me & I will always take my business to a company that stands behind its product. I'm definitely leaning more towards the nano but I have to sell my EQ first. I think the nano comes in 3 sizes right? the twig, king & I forgot the last one but when I went on their website I couldn't even find a twig only different wood finishes.

Would be cool if you could make a video of your new nano. Would like to see how the latest model operates.

I apologize if this question has already been asked before but is there any single bore stem available that could be used with the nano? I really hate those build in glass screens as it adds to the draw resistance which I hate.

Most likely it could be the cord, that happen to me once with another vaporizer. I know! silly me was so impressed with the Arizer solo & saw the good feedback about the EQ & also liked the versatility & went for it but to only find out its a weed hog & I only had it for a week now!:doh::doh: Had I come across the nano 2 weeks ago, I would have got this instead as my main propose is huge vapor clouds, efficiency & fast heat up time
