I have an older Solo so I can not answer for the newer ones, but the nano completely blows my solo out of the water on the draw factor (as well as every other factor minus the cordless nature of the Solo) - I almost can't even use my OG Solo anymore because it causes me actual pain in my ears/sinuses from how hard the draw is with a water piece since I am so used to the light pull required by the Nano
It is night and day. Take it from someone who gone through about 7 solos. Nano like my other log vape (HI) has almost 0 resistance.
The only time I ever feel any airflow resistance is when the screen gets really clogged. Then you can take some resin hits.
This is no question my new favorite vape though. I have lately been filling a gong almost full and putting the nano at an angle at the very top of the bowl. No burning and crazy giant hits.
E: solo only dry for me. Solo was always too high resistance to be a device I am comfortable using regularly thru water. I also have low lung power so it really makes a difference for me

Does this mean that, with the stock 0-11 dial, each number is 50F?
Also, how much does room temp matter with these vapes that aren't digitally temp-stabilized.
If you are in a room that is 70F and you put this thing on 1, would it be ~120F? It would make a difference for some people because from winter to summer, you would need to change up to an entire number depending on where you vape.

I dont have one but the holes on the honeycomb look pretty big especially if you grind yours fine. Also with basket screens you can adjust the height of the basket from the heater. It seems the basket screens are prefered at least IMO. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Yes I completely agree but what about putting a basket screen in the honeycomb? Also which side does the basket screen face inside the stem?

@Enchantre that was the most clearly said, informative nano "how to" and "info" video I've seen. All new nano users should just start off by watching that video. I saw like 10 of the most frequently asked nano questions from this thread answered very clearly. Seriously Andy should have that video stickies to his homepage on the website.

All glass vs adjust
there is a difference between them... as far as you can t adjust the glass "honeycomb" in your all glass stem there is no "stopper" so you can bring your honeycomb in touch with your heater so you have to adjust everytime you draw your distance between heating element and load... if you use a adjust .. stem there is a stopper which enables you to slip the hole stem as much as you like above the heater so to say there is a build in stopper int the glass... so you have to adjust your screen and then you don t have to fiddle arround while you drawing with the distance of the load and your heater... sorry i am no native english speaker ... its very hard for me to explain it.. hope you understand what i meqn or maybe someone can explain it better to him....

Honeycomb has too much drag resistance IMO and needs a screen anyway. LOVE the adjustable! Been recently experimenting with larger loads and wow cloud city...

This is exactly what I do and I'll be glad to tell you why. The built-in glass screen sits far enough away from the heat output to suit me, but I want smaller holes in order to block more particulates, so I put a stainless steel screen right on top of the glass screen, which provides a stationary position and I know the bottom of my bowl will always be in the same place in relation to the heater cover.
For me it doesn't, and I don't need an additional screen, just want one. It's all about personal preference, and I'm happy there's an option.

Are you speaking about stem or gong.... i can put the empty stem on the heater so there is no distance between the glass screen and heater they are touching both...is this also the case with your all glass stem? . do you have also an adjust the screen stem.... i always thought the all glass is for people which want an all glass air path (for better taste reasons) .... but hey i didn t want to offened you everybody has their o wn preferences but as i stated before i thought the all glass stem is for better taste, so it didn t came in to my mind why you will use it with a screen... i only wanted to answer the question asked by some one here about the differnces of those two and help...

so I was sitting watching the best informational video on the nano by the lovely @Enchantre and I was so jealous as my replacement nano hadn't arrived yet........my ex partner called to say there was a package for me so I ran round to get my nano. Wow,beautiful. For 'stock' wood she is a beauty. I also got a stem. the stem has silicon tubing round one end. Is Andy doing these as standard now. I will post a pic as soon as I upload them to my laptop!!!!
