I save my ABV for projects too.
Most members of this community all bring me their ABV too...
having 3-400 grams of abv on hand is common.
I make flour with it and bake most of the time.
E-Nano's abv is a treat!
I do not "pop it in my mouth" at home, as a rule.
I save that practice for portables on the road.
Driving along, and my trench/stem/chamber is toasted.... That is when I eat it rather than toss it out the window~

Doing as Snappo suggested, with my Nano set at 7, and using a small amount of hash (maybe 4-5 grains of rice worth) seven of us got at least 2 hits each from the all-glass stem. If your chara is fresh and soft, just crumble between your thumb and finger. If hard, soften with a lighter before crumbling.

hash is a bless with nano. good bed of herb and a rock of hash on the top of it.

3 hits to have pure flavor.
with 7th floor i break the whole content and stir to spread resin all around. This mix is very fine particles which cloggs the basket screen very fast, so the all glass gong is ideal for it. it produce a typical pinene hash gong with this method.

this mix can be put in a herbie or a volcano to blow 3 bags of heaven. or a vapolution 2.0 for large coughing fogs.

the first hit after the mix/stirring on a nano gong is the richiest you can see.

herb+hash make loads last forever.

Whats the best temperature for big clouds on a nano? and whats the best load size to one hit? i will be running it mainly through a mobius matrix Ion and Clear and have ordered a custom Gong from @Joda Glass (sorry i dont know how to link peoples names) aswell as the normal 18mm GonGs form epicvape.

I'd say the best is just enough to cover the bottom in a single layer. I'm finding that is 1/16th teaspoons or less (I use little measuring spoons and a funnel to load my bowls).

These PWM dimmer switches are not fully accurate - what works for one person might not work at exactly the same temperature for another person (there's no internal controls to regulate the voltage precisely - for that you need a VVPS). Typically people here run anywhere between 6.5 and 7.5 for raw flowers. - Note I run mine at higher numbers if I'm trying to have a quick session and don't have time to get my Nano up to proper temperature (which can take 10 or 15 minutes to reach that ot

Load size is dependent upon distance from screen to heat outlet (closer screen means less herb and faster vaping). You'll need to play with your screen a bit to find what works best for you - but once you find that spot, keep it there and don't mess with the distance (I soak the whole gong in iso when the screen gets clogged, and switch to a backup gong for a few days).

Even with a small load, i think you'll find you get at least two solid rips (stirring between of course).

For what it's worth, I use the other side of the Gong and simply 'suck up' the herbs into the chamber. Then tap out whatever is excess (I mess with the load sizes a bit - sometimes I tamp down, sometimes I don't) - I usually keep my herb about 1mm away from the heat port if possible to prevent the screen from making contact with the herb

Thank you that is a good write up and just what i needed to know. I forgot it even had a Adjust-a-bowl style Gong i have never used a log vape before but used a LSV for about 6 months. I would assume that a log vape is just a less clumber some version of an LSV. Whats the Best VVPS to get i'm going to have to plug it into a step down converter too so the smaller the better.

@Kenzie , ratchett's post above explains it pretty well, but there is even more to it. You'll find many variables affect what heat setting, how far you want your screen in, etc. Seriously, take advantage of the time you're waiting for your nano to skim through the past 50 or so pages of this thread. There's scads of good info!

You won't need a vvps at all. The nano is pure A/C (vvps is a D/C converter), and the dial is all you need to set the heat. Others with native 220v can help with what you need, but seem to recall a good many posts about this in the last 50 pages too.

So read up, get ready for an awesome vape and swing by to let us all know how you like it and with any questions once you get nano-ing!

I guess all my blubbering to the owner last time in there about the quality of the Nano hit home. LOL. The store is well worth the trip, just bare in mind it's not where you want to go (without money) if you suffer from VAS/GAS. Their glass room is a "trip".

I've not been in the thread for a while but I've seen speak of hash.

I bong quite a lot of hash with my nano and my method is this...

If the hash is soft just flatten some thin sausages as much as possible and curl them into the gong. If the hash is hard then either lightly burn and crumble or grate/crush roughly (you can chuck lumps though, Just more heat and breaking with the epik). The first hit will break the bonds of the hash, it won't give much vapour but will taste amazing. I then use the epik to stir and break the hash and the next hits will be massive. one last stir and a hit then it's in the ABV jar. I sit around 7.5-8.5 depending. At 8.5 the last hit can start tasting a bit acrid but once I taste this i end the session.


Love my nano, It's the only desktop I've got and the only one I feel I need. The anti-VAS machine.

It very well could be the anti VAS machine but after buying one you become very well acquainted with GAS :science:

Having never used a log vape before, could someone compare the pros/cons of the E-nano to the experience using a Hammer?

Aside from portability, are there other differences besides the simple fact one uses electricity vs butane?

My experience is limited, having only used Plenty, Lotus, Hammer and Volcanos.

The Nano has built in voltage control and is a little easier to control the temp at which you want to vape. It pairs well with water (as does the Hammer). It holds it's temp pretty well so you don't have to worry as much about draw speed and/or heat application. It can be left on 24/7 so there is no real heat up time. Both have easy maintenance. That's all I got, haha. I like them both. If you have specific questions, please ask.
