Had an idea ...waddya think?:science: Cord V3? Did a little copy/paste in Photoshop.

Great photoshop work, but think I'll pass! Have a couple small cables with these on them and IME they suck functionally. You'd think I'd stop buying them after 2 were pieces of crap, but I have at least 4! You know what Forrest's mom says... stupid is as stupid does!

On cord V2, I kind of get it. Would be nice to have detachable as much as I take mine out. But, have my things set up for the new longer cord and works great for me. Even scrounged up a little 2 sided zip case so nano goes on one side, and cord/dimmer on the other. If the V1.1 cord holds up for a couple years of regular use, I'd have no issue with replacing for $20 as needed.

Seems like more parts to wear out?

Retractable cord w/dial would be fitted with an extra heavy-duty spring (not the standard crap they usually fit these with). As such, there's really nothing to break or wear down any more-so than the standard cord & dial. I think the overall benefit & convenience in such a design would far outweigh the expected low fail rate. JMO ;)

I'd have to disagree based on my experience with these auto wind jobbies - but could just be me. I know the one I used to have in the car for phone charger went out the window at about 65 mph! Think that is the only time I've littered in at least 20 years.

I do believe in this case a better mouse trap can be built ...and made to last a long time. :science: We have landed craft on Mars, haven't we?

Nice! Is that a walnut unit?
Yes! It is a walnut unit, here are some more pics of it

I like the volume of your water piece.
I have a bunch of low budget bubblers that surprising work amazing (IKR)
To get close on the volume of your piece I just add glass.

Normally my dial is set at 6.5 however with more volume I find my sweet spot 7.5. I keep the NANO in the back yard plugged in.

I love this tiny thing!

Thanks! I've got some smaller bubblers as well, I like having the variety. I would love to put together something like this together, I need more glass!

Hi Radiantchipmunk, do you mind telling me what the distance is between the dial/dimmer and the enano please? Is yours a recently made enano?

So heres another video I made for you guys. I was just having a discussion with @ataxian regarding my more refined method for using organic cotton as a substrate for convection dabs. I figured it would be easier to just show you guys... so here it is.

Sorry for the length (I tend to ramble and I do no editing or "dry runs"... its a 1 take you get what you get, heh). Also sorry for the milk shot being out of focus... but hey, the important part was clear as a bell.

And as always I shot it in full HD for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

Another excellent vid! Looks so delicious, too. :mmmm:

Do you ever pull the nano & gong at the same time? Just grab it by the silicone and lift with nano still on top. Avoids the need for two handed clearing. To each his own, but this method works very well for me - especially when I'm not sitting right at a table like you are in most vids. You have to be careful not to tip it too much so the nano doesn't fall off, but have only had this happen once in literally hundreds of clears.

After clearing I usually set it all back down into the GonG and just lift the nano off. Works pretty well.

I'm going to ask Mike from OGB to make me another custom reclaimer like this one ...but have him put on a slightly off-angle (22.5 degree) joint adapter for a nice glass carb stop. That way while using my Nano I can reclaim AND clear with ease, one handed. A claisson/cloud buddy reclaimer all-in-one. Waddya think!?!
