With regard to the voiding warranty note on the replacement cords. This is just Andy doing his due diligence as a business person and makes perfect sense. When someone opens up their device and replaces key electrical components, they can make mistakes which can damage these/other parts. If this happens too often, things could get very expensive for Andy if he does not warn people that they will void their warranty and he has to replace this stuff for free.
That being said, he was gracious enough to send me a replacement cord for free self-repair when I needed one due to very early user error (my own). I think it is sweet that the option is now there for users to just buy the component at a reasonable price, no questions asked. Hope it continues
Re: differences between cords. The older Nano cords before the v1 cord currently for sale on the EV site were shorter, had a different cord support sheathe and the dimmer was slightly closer to the main unit of the Nano. The newer cords (that I was sent to replace my older one with) are longer cords, the dimmer is further back from the Nano on the cord, and had different cord slack retention sleeve (or whatever it is called lol).
The V2 is a detachable cord, using a two prong connection at the back of the Nano. It is not yet clear what the detachable cord/dimmer look like in this version. I am excited to find out!
Also, I prefer adjust-a-bowls to any other GonG. The basket screens are reusable and last forever so long as you don't mangle them too much. The new thickened glass is super strong, has great airflow and allows the screens to be moved around very easily but without moving your load while vaping.
The all-glass screens are good, however I find that you have to either adjust your grind or add screens/something else to the GonG to ensure that small bits of bud/kief don't go through the holes in the honeycomb filter. YMMV
