Does anyone use an additional screen in their adjust-a-bowl stems? I find a lot of small particles get through the basket screen that's in there already.
Here is an answer:
Sorry I was unclear, I meant the stem using a dry path.
My personal favorite fix would be to get some water in your path! A small bubbler or ashcatcher with sherlock will catch any fine particles in addition to cooling vapor. Downside is that water diffusion = loss of flavor. IME the more diffusion the less taste, but the right perc and slower/smoother draws can lessen this quite a bit.
All delayed Nano orders will be shipped by tomorrow. All new orders should ship within 48 hours.
Any long standing orders get a shipping notice for today yet? Fingers still crossed. I have high hopes this is the day.
Hmmmmm... that's a bit trickier. Do you grind your material? If so, try grinding a little less or use "mini nugs" without grinding.
Second screen will work, just not sure if it will be enough. Two screens of the same mesh spaced apart will hold back a lot more than you'd think, especially once the second one gets a little gunked up with vapor goo. So, it will probably work a lot better after a dozen sessions or so without cleaning than when you first put it in.
If you still run into issues you could put a small piece of organic cotton in the mouth end of the stem, far enough away that if it slides a little bit you won't pull it into your mouth. This will probably create a bit more restriction, but reclaim from the cotton is a breeze. Just turn up the heat and stick it in the other end once it gets gold and sticky.

Only in my dreams. It is a joke at this point. Am I being punished? (April 6th)
I did just get the infamous d020 bubbler and have been enjoying that, but sometimes I just want to use the stem. Also I've watched tons of the vids on here and my bubbler just will not get filled with milk unless the dial is 8 or above. And even then only sometimes. I will be getting vapor though as I will feel the effects.
Thank you sir!
What a FUCKING a joke at this point. I am being punished. I PAID I think I earned the right to play — duh. Isn't that the way it works? I'm pissed off now. (April 6th)
Ehhhhh... shit happens. You'll soon forget once it gets there. I jumped on the nano bandwagon either a few days too late, or a couple months too early depending on how you look at it. Ordered just after the very first few were produced and missed them. Waited a couple months while some issues with vendors/heaters/etc got sorted out. A sometimes painful wait that taught me a few lessons on patience (that have served me well also!). Needless to say, Andy made it all good and the my love for the nano started the day I got it and has grown since.
So I just upturned my screen to work like a basket instead of a dome and it is much better IMO. Seem to get better extraction?!
Thanks for the tips people!
Interesting....and confusing....why would it matter?
Awesome mate, you are going to love it!my e nano is on the way cant wait to try it out !
I think this is the exact reason. Also with the herb in the basket the diameter is ever so slightly less so I seem to get the edges of the load more evenly cookedI know for me the screen as a basket gives me an extra few mms of room to fit more material. With the screen domed the edges where the screen touches the glass get caked with resin + ABV dust, and the heat just goes through the middle. Always had better success with the SSV with my screen as a basket too.
For some reason I'm getting the best extraction from my pinched stem and GonG. The pinch seams to provide a bit of back pressure that gives me more thorough extraction, at least at the lower heat settings. I'm not much for high heat vaping, taste terrible to me and burns my throat. It could be I've spent more time with this glass though and results carry over from stem to GonG, IDK. Loving my nano though, haven't used any of my other vapes all week, trying to conserve.
.do not buy from Epicvape unless you are very patient.
I ordered on Sunday night and by Friday it was at my porch?

This was a year ago.
Did it change?
I ordered accessories since and less than a week I received them?
It's my favorite plug in vaporizer!
Are you talking about the same company?
EPIC!
Andy I was cleaning my garage this morning and I found some exotic wood I bought some years ago!Introducing the E-Nano from Epicvape.
