Not announced yet. I saw one at Champs a couple weeks ago at the Dynavap booth. It is an M with built in half bowl tip and a XL mouthpiece. The tip is not removable and stays in permanent half bowl like the B. I am curious about price.

I'm curious if the condenser will fit other DVs in terms of length. Is the stem/bowl the same length as an M without the mouthpiece, do you think? The overall length looks less than an XL + the Ballr cap, judging by the pic.

It is indeed a titanium screen. That must be the deal. I tried rolling and flipping many times. Weird it stays in the half bowl settings, perhaps the diameter is a bit tighter in that spot.
Has Dynavap addressed this? They have almost 5 star reviews on these. The only bad reviews being they never got the product!

Which bowl is it? I have only had this issue a couple times and I think it's always been the std Ti bowl.

It's a new Ti DV made for the Ballr cap. Stem & bowl are one piece with a modular, adjustable condenser; cap is loaded with steel balls behind the perforated screen area and below. It's an XL-ish DV version of the Hyperdyn/Thermal Hyper Cap. Available 03-13, according to the store linked above.

Latest dv purchase.
Omni XL OG. Came filthy, required soak in bicarb to remove the crap. Why the original owner didn't clean it is beyond me. Anyway, his laziness resulted in a good deal for me.



Really nice. Currently my favourite.

I love the Omni's. Tbh I can't really justify the price new but they can be found for a relative bargain with a bit of patience, either new or 2nd hand, and then are definitely worth it imo. I average about €60 each so same price as an m, if not cheaper....

Here is my current collection of Omni's. One day I hope to add the Omnivong.....



Have a 2018m incoming. Great price so I couldn't resist. Bit of history and getting harder to find.

Having some bother with the hyperdyn, I can't seem to get a full roast without nearly combusting. A single heat up doesn't seem to do it and a 2nd heat up always leads to the very edge of combustion. Are you guys heating past the click?

Iirc, I'm usually doing two heatings, and getting nice results. I heat with a Firefox turned low, pointed at the windows and rotated slowly, to the clicks.

Ok, I don't claim to have mine dialed in to perfection by any means, so ymmv. But I've only used it so far with a torch and without water or other cooling. Currently I'm using it with a Halo tip on a Shomni stem. After 3 heatings to the clicks, the vapor and the stem remain cool/comfortable. It's probably partly because of the Halo's heat management but I also think it just doesn't get as hot as the standard conduction-style heating.

Near the top of the cap near the clickers there's a small oval window on each side that opens directly to the ball capsule inside. I heat the ball capsule directly for a second or two and keep the torch on the same line as i rotate slowly around to the other window, where I pause for a second and then rotate again, etc, to the clicks.

I don't have that cap, I have the original hyperdyn cap sorry for the confusion.

I'm sorry! I misunderstood.

Ok, for the og hyper cap I just treat it as a regular cap and heat it 2/3 the way down the cap while spinning it for 2 heats and usually get great results. Initially I was going pretty aggressively at it and aiming at the lower part of the cap with a good gap between it and the flame and getting awesome one-heat roasts. It's just a little hot/harsh for me that way, with 2x heats being a little gentler.

I'm not into vapacaps anymore but I have quite a few of them. Looking at the ballr cap sale. I wonder if the fins around the classic tip bowl aren't a problem getting some cold air directly in the bowl not passing through the balls.
