Oh man I speant the last 2 days trying to get my new ballr to work. I’m heating right in the middle of the ball portion of the cap and currently I’m at 15 seconds past the click! Then I’ll get a good hit, but with all that heat how do I know the conduction heat isn’t making it down to the bowl and vaporising using conduction, instead? Not only that but 15 seconds past the click is, I think, totally absurd, and I can’t imagine the click lasting forever if I’m having to massively overheat the thing.

Anyone else?

I've had some trouble getting it to work well but I'm kind of getting the hang of it finally. I'm basically just heating it like normal: .5" single flame aimed at the middle of the solid part of the top of the cap while spinning to the clicks. You want to take it slowly to heat-soak the ball matrix. It's pretty sensitive to where you point so ymmv. but I'm starting to have pretty good results; first hit may be whispy sometimes. Fwiw, I'm using it on the Ti M7 bowl which has worked better for me than the Halo.

How are folk finding the T.H.C cap for the hyperdyn? Is it a worthy upgrade? Kinda dissapointed in the stock hyperdyn to be honest. Willing to give it another shot if the T.H.C cap improves performance.
The THC has been much easier to manage, and I like it way better than the normal cap. I've always gotten good results with the OG cap but I've found the vapor to be harsh feeling. Not an issue with the THC. I use a slightly more powerful flame for it (Firefox or PB207 set to about .6-.7") aimed at the windows/line, spun very slowly and lingering at the windows for a second or two before continuing, to the clicks. Works great with ~2 heatings.

If the other suggestions don't help, based on what you're describing, I would try a bigger flame / torch.
