How Soon Is Now?
Lovely stem !! A while ago I saw a guy doing stuff with stuck-together skateboards, and once it was cut or turned, the result was the same as your stem :) I told to myself « that would make a lovely stem » ! so congrats :)

Totally agree !
thanks my man! i love it to bits as well... its so awesome. and fully lined titanium inside thats pressfit and not glued. its so well thought out and the finish feels like satin.

i had the parts from my Omni 2016 because a friend was looking desperately for the body so i gifted him one of mine and always thought that i need something that fits perfectly for condenser and tip. so i asked daro if he would make me one although i know he has something else around his mind. after a few days he sent me this. i am still stunned :)

Is Dynavap bringing out a ball vape?
A Dynavap rep on Reddit said they will be talking about it on their Twitch stream this evening. I don’t use Twitch, so I’ll just wait til tomorrow to hear the highlights. Very curious and interested about what they came up with. Hoping it’s a competitor to the Tempest, but that’ll be tough.

It's a $99 cap with balls for a Hyperdyn.
Kinda bummed about the pricing. $330 total, if you don’t already have a Hyperdyn. Or $170, if you want just the tip and ball cap (it only works on the Hyper Tip) to throw on a stem you already own. Or $99 for just the ball cap, if you already have a Hyper Tip.

I’ll stick with my Tempest, but am still curious to see review of the new Dyna once they get into customer’s hands.

$99 for the cap and capsule I can see, but $330- for the full setup seems ambitious. They could deduct $60 and just sell the baller version without the regular cap.

I have the Hyper, I'll try the cap for sure. I don't really expect TA levels of performance but I like to see them trying new things.

I'm excited to see what early adopters have to say, but I won't be scrambling to get in on the first release. My initial impression is that it's really not for me. I can't see it bringing anything to the TA/Tempest/Stunner table aside from bowl size, and I'm a dedicated half-bowl user for both DV and Tempest.

Agreed. I’m not super excited about the product itself, but it’s always nice to see new things.

I don’t have a tempest and I’m excited to c how it hits for early adopters and I might just get this instead of a tempest
If the heater works well it should be great with the giant bowl. In the video they mentioned selling the cartridges with different media or discs set to different temps, etc.

coolbreeze,
Thinking about my first Dynavap. The Halo tip is getting good reviews, should I spring for the Armored cap? I'm definitely a one and done type and this seems like a good option.

Would you be using with an induction heater or torch? I’ve found my armoured caps don’t seem to work quite as consistently with my wand as the regular caps, but hear they are very helpful for torch users.

Can’t speak for the halo tip, but definitely enjoy the classic ti tip, would be worth considering if they do another $20 tip deal for 4/20 this year. I have most currently available tips (missing ss helix, hyper and halo) but I always end up back with the classic ti.

Serial vapist
Had my dynavap since 2015 these things are built to last. Think I need a new screen and cap though.
I got my first one back in 2017 and it was pretty much the only vape I used for years. That thing has been through so much. I blasted it with a full sized kitchen torch on a low flame setting a lot. After a few years the clicks were happening noticeably later, but I was also going over the clicks towards the end of the bowl a lot back in those days. That cap has been lost and refound in the woods multiple times, and I'm pretty sure it got rained on. It still clicks and isn't rusty, but now that it clicks later, you pretty much have to go by feel for the whole bowl and it's retired. The tip, which was black and grimey as hell, is nice and shiny again just from heat and Dark Crystal. I have it on a B stem now and it's still one of my favorite tips. The screen and all the original o-rings are still fine, but I have been thinking about replacing the stem o-rings just because the new ones fit more easily. I have the M7 tip on there now, and it's still what I keep in my pocket at all times! Legendary
