Nice! I really want to hear about the standard--especially a comparison with other manual vapes (probably over on the manual vape thread for propriety's sake). My impressions from Tea Time and ThinkDank are that it's a little less sophisticated than some of the others. Still, I remain a DV fanboy, and even if I don't use them much, I enjoy my collection. This could help keep it from collecting dust. I hope it'll be available for the March drop.

I'll give it go--brb!

Edit: Ok, I didn't see either stream so this is the first I've known of the BallR. I'm not sure if it clicks? I didn't get there if so. I used a normal .5" flame around the middle of the marked area below the intake perforations and quit when i smelled herb. It was a one-heat bowl with a little scorching on the top. I've tried it again dry and it doesn't have a clicker, I guess. Anyhow I'll try to figure out some timings.

Edit: It does click! I heated up closer to the screens and got two clicks in about the normal amount of time. I'll see if I can get a better roast.

Edit 3: After two very light heatings I hit it a third time a little lower and got nice full puffs of vapor.

I can see the THC cap on the right. And what's with the cap on the left side? It looks like a regular cap, but why is it as long as THC?
It's the BallR Cap, a prototype, I think, in development for release later in the year. It's a mini, non-modular, THC for the regular tips. I'm still dialing but It seems like it's gonna be fun.

Ball Cap -will everyone who bought THC get it, or is it a random giveaway? I also bought HTC, but I'm still waiting for it to arrive...

Hi everyone, planning to get my first dyna and looking for some advice.

The two models I'm considering are the B at Β£38 delivered and the M7 at Β£55 delivered.

I was a joint smoker for years and moved to an electric dry herb vape (Roffu) a couple of weeks ago after getting a medical cannabis prescription.

I miss the feel of smoking a joint, and the mouth to lung inhalation which I can do with the Roffu but it feels weird.

I want something that I can sit with on the sofa or at my pc and toke on like a joint, even if I need to keep reheating.

I think the M7 is much more attractive visually, and has the option to change bowl size, and I read it produces cooler vapor than the B. But does the metal stem heat up after repeated heatings of the cap and tip? Would the improved thermal retention mean I could toke on this easier with less reheats than on the B?

The B is appealing for it's simplicity. Its not as attractive but looks like it would definitely stay cool to the touch and won't roll away if I set it down next to my keyboard. Is the vapour noticeably hotter than from the M7?

Is there a difference in efficiency between the two?

Would the M7 be more open to upgrades later? I see so many different and unique looking dynavaps that are like mini lightsabres or sonic screwdrivers and I'd like to eventually end up with something that looks that cool if Dyna turns out to be the solution I've been looking for.

I'd get the M7, it's just all around better, especially for Β£17.

The Ms are mtl for me, sort of thicker, substantial vapor, and the M7 bowl holds heat longer for a more hits per heating, sort of like a doob.

It can but the heat control from that thinner, tube-shaped neck really reduces heat to the stem compared to finned tips.

It's a very nice little vape but it's limited. I use mine as a dedicated half-bowl and rely on the others for daily use.

Yes, the M7 is a better choice for upgrades and sharing parts, I would suggest getting the XL condenser as the first upgrade, a single flame pocket torch, and a stash case with a magnet, and you're golden.

Roffu is definitely not your best choice after burning. Roffu is a weak vape. I say this from experience. I sold it without regret. And Dynavap is 1 to 1 in terms of burning power. The Dynavap will give powerful blows like burning, and the feeling of a tight puff will be great.

I got the THC from Dynavap, but waiting on some Hyperdyn parts to complete it. Hopefully this weekend.

But I was excited to see that I’d received a prototype ballcap that fits OG tips included in my order. I cleaned my Woodwynd and tried that right away.

I’m impressed. Way more convection and bigger hits since the heat sticks around a long time. Beware the hot cap. It’s VERY hot even after cool down click.

Can’t wait to try the THC. I’ve set it up for hybrid, and plan to use it exclusively with water.

The ball caps for standard tips are very exciting! I wonder if it works for IH or if its better with torches?

Got some good hash rosin this month been rocking it with this terp chaser setup.
