Putin is a War Criminal
5 or 6 pages back I posted a pic of a box of torches that I have accumulated since I began vaping in 2014. When I began I had regular problems with torches until I stopped using cheap butane. Since I have switched to Collibri and Vector, and since I learned about purging, burping and proper filling, I have had NO permanent torch failures, and several are several years old.Are there any torches that don't die so quick? I've been going through so many of them since getting into VapCaps.
Thankfully, I now have a Portside induction heater for home use, but I still rely on torches when out and about, and I'm sick of buying new ones every few months. No matter if I spend $3 or $30, they seem to all break at the same frequency.
Is there any torch out there that is made to last at least longer than a year?
Good butane and burping and purging are the KEY to good torch behavior. These cheap lighters can work well for a long time. But they ARE cheap, so there will be failures...
I am intending, and hoping to use the stash as a stash.Silicone tube rings and modularity are my thing. So I cut a ring and put it the bottom part of container hole of my stash. then slide in two tips w/caps side by side. Two bullets in the chamber Then another ring as a door for the top of that. Close the lid.I will come up with a nice way to carry 3 in the chamber with no rattle.
I really do want this to be all I have to carry with a torch. I want a vape dugout.
(Yeah, I know, I will eventually need an XL DS from George or one of our wood guys)
