No, I love my Induction Heater.
....
It's the VapCap signature and experience minus the lighter.
So much for a "Battery Free World".....

So if you can learn to feather the carb just right, and buy a Ti tip for the M, then practically you have a "manual" Omnivap?
Not quite. The further the O ring on the condenser is from the MP, the LESS airflow. Turning the MP counter-clockwise makes the assembly longer, which drives the tapered end of the condenser deeper into the tip, restricting airflow.Ah! Ok. Let’s see if I’ve got this
1. To adjust airflow I remove the stem from the mouthpiece and condenser (which are connected).
2. I turn the mouthpiece to adjust airflow. That will adjust the condenser and the further the little O ring on the condenser is from the mouthpiece the more airflow. I could see a bit of threading of the condenser here.
3. Once that adjustment is set I place the stem back on and push flush with the mouthpiece
Yay or nay?
That sounds like an idea worth pursuing, though in a slightly different form. I have some experimenting to do with mouth pieces when I get back home.I wish the Omnivap mouthpiece came standard with a taper to fit a 14mm water pipe like my OG though, instead of even needing the vong body. That would make it slimmer, more versatile, and ultimate!
This.Luckily using an IH or a lighter is not mutually exclusive so you can still run without batteries if you choose to or need to.
I love the VapCaps versatility and the IH adds a whole lot to the experience. But when I need ultra portability my jet lighter is always there
There is absolutely no reason to completely finish a bowl everytime. Take as much as you need and eventually continue later on!

My DynaStash with my Ti Woody S lives in my glove compartment (just like my old dugout did) with a nice little triple torch. I keep it loaded (full) and it often comes out for just one hit and then goes back to return next time I need one. Normally out and about I really only need to take an edge off and am not really looking for a buzz, the the Woody does that for me. With the DS it is all there waiting for me like a silent companion...Does anyone hit once and leave herb in bowl for later? Am i wasting too much?
That's what I'm talkin about...Buy a couple, some for friends. They will then buy some, some for their friends. ETC.
In truth we are all going in the opposite direction. Most things I own are battery operated, including my other favorite vapes. So much for a "Battery Free World".....

I always recommend that newbies use multiple jets until they get the hang of heating the Vapcap successfully.I know this is contrary to the normal but after only 5 or 6 sessions I feel like I want a single torch. I have a double and triple and find the triple warms it too quick and creates hotter vapor as well as less control over the heating accuracy.
perhaps a not so informed question,
but does the VC cap stay scorched after several jet falme burns or can it be cleaned to look clean again?
Anybody else a little stubborn about getting Pipes' induction heater?? I bought this to be a butane lighter vape and that's what I want it to do....I've got several battery vapes if I want a battery vape.
@invertedisdead I have a blackwood Omnivong that you can have. It has been sitting in the classifieds untouched for too long. It is longing for the touch of a flame and the essence of herb. Its yours, just shoot me a pm.
that does not matter, your fine.
A few years ago an aquaintance turned me on to bho. Prior to that i have been burning for about 30+ years. I was hooked on vaping but not necessarily the bho so i went to vaping First i got a graco micro and then i got a v2 for oil and herb, but the build quality was not so great and I was constantly damaging the chambers. Then i got a crafty, due to battery issues traded it in for a mighty. During one of the times it was back at the manufaturer being serviced i picked up a mflb to use during such times but was contantly burning in the mflb .All the while i kept recieving updates from hopper labs reflecting the delays in getting my grasshopper. Along the way i also picked up a firefly 2. Then spent a couple of years using, accessorizing and returning said units for repairs. The grasshopper is always breaking, and i have no trust in the device. The mighty has been very reliable and was my everyday unit but takes a awhile to heat up. The firefly 2 has also been reliable but dont like to stir and i save my abv for green dragon and with the firefly 2 always end up dropping it.
If only i had started out with a dynavap then i would have saved all that time, money and energy for better things. Its by far the easiest and most reliable vap i own. Its the only one i use now. I had 4 dynavaps but recently sold my "M" to a user in need. The other 3 are onmis and i think these are the best machines. The titanium body is the best, its the easiest to spin and easy to find the carb by feel.
Today i recieved a portside from @Pipes. It was sent last week on saturday and took a week to make it to western Pa. I was able to get the tracking number from Paypals website and eagerly followed its trip. Went to the local head shop and found the 3 batteries i needed, put them in, plugged it in and then stuck it in the hole. In about 4 seconds the cap clicked and i had a huge hit of vapor and a big smile. The induction heater is great.
Thanks to all for the great info and tips.
