One more update about my new DIY VC rest stand .
And the last one.I'm not going to bug you anymore with that !


I've used a 5 mm stainless steel rivet .
Just the head of it .Widen the hole a bit and then polish it.
On the bottom there's a rare earth magnet .


Now ,the cleaning tool can be inserted there ...


And also serve as a -handy- handle to carry around the -loaded !!! - stand
(i.e. from bedroom to kitchen ,from kitchen to living room and from living room to balcony
and so on .... ) .

Since making my oven smaller, everything is better...
Not only do I use far less product...
But as im not ever heating where the herb is now, I seem to get far better extraction....

I think the oven on the smallest setting, could be nearly halved again with little noticeable difference...

Not wanting to sound like a smarty pants, but either way you'll be breathing in more than your lungs can absorb. You will see tons of vapor coming out... that's the leftover
Gotta love that vapor science


To be more helpful: you could try to keep the vapor in for a few secs - and then exhale about 50%, then breath in again - and exhale the rest. You should absorb more of the goods that way - in theory.. You will defintely feel the effects. Try it! Again, vapor science is big fun.

I mouthpull, meaning that I cover the air intake hole (carb) and puff; pull vapor into my mouth. Then I open my mouth to inhale fresh air along with the vapor. I usually do this three times before exhaling the three puffs. I do this two to three times each heating cycle.

I get good and plenty high every time.

I usually do one large lung pull per heat cycle, with the carb partially closed/feathering.

I had a friend turn me a few wood bodies just for jollies. I drilled a carb with the smallest dremel bit I could find, which was 1.6mm. It actually is quite a bit smaller than the carb on the DV bodies. I can hit this one with no carb covering or feathering at all and get the perfect hit.

Question about the vapcap m. I find if I push the cap untill it stops the draw resistance is impossible to use. If I slightly pull the cap out it has a nice tight draw. Is this normal?

This is normal on all VCs while you're closing the carb/air port. Air has got to get in there somehow, and with carb closed you're only letting it go through where it can slip in around the cap. Looser cap = more air, tighter cap = less air.

I usually like mine just a little off from very tight (can barely draw through it) and feather the carb to introduce as much air as I want on the hit. Find this allows for very thick clouds, or wispier hits on demand. Either can be good and fun in some situations, but usually I want one or the other and like that it can be tailored this easily.

Whew! After researching this thing I am glad I don't have a defective unit. Thanks for the reply now I can stop worrying, when my Atmos jump is going to die. This is the true zombie apocalypse device no electricity needed.

Noticed you only have a few posts here. Welcome to FC!!

You might want to do some poking around here in the thread to learn more about your VapCap.

Whether you do or not, you should check out this "Best of" thread for lots of great info in one pretty concise package. That, and check out @Squiby 's posts. Search function (top right of this and every other FC page) allow you to search just this thread, and by specific user.

Worthwhile reading that will get you a lot more out of your VC. Probably more than you could figure out over a few years!

GrassHopper, it's worked very well for me but experiences vary amongst other users.
