XL condenser and mouthpiece........abracadabra........you now have a Vapcap S, one of my favorites! But I think Stevenski did a swapHow can you upgrade an OG?
PS: Lucky brother!
A Reddit thread has got me intrigued.

Are caps really only good for about a year of use?
Hearing about them crack with use is a bit worrying. And someone there seems to confirm they are meant for only a few months use.
Excessive overheating of the cap will cause damage to the cap over time. I can see Dynavap releasing a special high temp concentrate cap. I never heat past the click, and all my caps are fine. Even my fist gen cap which was purchased over a year ago still clicks, and I overheated that a lot.
My first cap from over a year ago still clicks like it did on the first day. I think with proper care and use, these thing will last pretty much indefinitely

I'm less worried about it not clicking (I know pretty much exactly how long to heat it, I don't need a click anymore really, so I wouldn't replace my caps just for that), but actual cracking/deforming in the metal? That's the real issue. How the hell does that happen?
Keep in mind the cap metal is very thin. If I'm remembering correctly, someone here tried lightly sanding the tip of their cap to remove a blemish and accidentally sanded completely through it, which opened it up exposing the click disks.
Not saying cracking/deformation is inevitable, but with material that thin and enough abuse, I can't say I'd be surprised to see it.
soak all parts in iso. make sure there is no resin at all which is not hard.I rarely post here as this thread is far to busy for me, but I was on the dynavap train quite early on....
Finally decided to see what these new tips are like....
I'm planning to take the new, unused woody to America soon for my holiday.
Have people flown with vapcaps???
Should I put it in carry on or checked luggage???
just dont use alumn foil.. that shit can burn like paper with a torch lighter..This whole topic got me even more curious now: wouldn't it be possible to just wrap aluminium foil (or really, any thin sheet of metal, or even thicker machined ti/SS "caps") around the end of the VapCap in a pinch? You wouldn't have the click, but I'm guessing the effect would be very close to how it is with the original cap, minus different heating times due to different metal thickness/density.....

for an extra measure you can place it in tobacco pouch with some tobacco for the complete kit look.
I've traveled with my OG a few times. put it right on the side of my bag.
or you can always disassemble it and scatter the pieces between your personals.
someone should design a portable vapcap heater that runs on an 18650. think of something the size of the dynastash or firewood 4 where you insert the vapcap and press a button to fire a heating coil that wraps around the cap. once the vapcap clicks, remove and puff. that would be sweet.
This struggle is real. An ongoing battle.Going to get in trouble with the mrs when she finds out i just got this one and now i want the woody
just give it a little squeezeI got a new cap and it is very loose on the new Ti tip. Does anyone have a pro tip on how to make it tighter?
