This VCAS is no joke! I don't even have my VonG that I just ordered, and I'm already thinking of adding an OG to take advantage of this sweet new promotion. This would be a second addition to my initial accessory only order.

Once that initial order is in it's too easy to be like "oh, just one more thing..."

Kudos to George, Matt, and the entire Dynavap team for keeping up with all of our additions and changes to our orders! I've been in contact with Matt in regards to my additions and some questions I've had, and his responses have been prompt, helpful, and professional.:tup:

Greetings!

Time for an update.

The past week or so has brought some interesting progress.
First off, my laser is nearly complete. The company assembling it told me it should be ready to ship by Friday. This is huge for Dynavap, and me too. Great for Dynavap because it will allow for the elimination of 4 processing steps, and provide a more precise product.
Great for me as now I have a laser. Who wouldn't want a laser? Especially one that can cut titanium. Just think where this could go.
Next, the new people joining the ranks at Dynavap have really done well. Our production is up significantly. In fact we are now less than 3 days out on filling orders for original VapCaps and or accessories. This is the shortest backlog we have ever had. We have also reduced the backlog on the Ti Woody. Not as much, but it is improving. Check these out.

A rather large variety of colors. And the quantity is increasing.

I am completely floored by George's generosity in his response to a little mishap I had with my Ti woody. Was using with a couple friends and one of them started lighting the MP end. Luckily I grabbed it from him before the flame touched the VC itself, but my beautiful coco mouthpiece was pretty badly charred… tried but couldn’t bring it back via sanding. As a side note, the friend who was the culprit was actually dying of cancer at the time, and that little vape session with the three of us was one of his last good times in this life. Anyhow, when I shared this with George and only asked if I might have a discount on a replacement mouthpiece, he not only sent me a beautiful replacement coco mouthpiece, gratis… but also threw in a VC OG & doob tube! :D So here’s to you @VapCap  Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and may your kindness come back to you tenfold

There are many stories dotted throughout this thread that demonstrate time and time again George's generosity and kindness.

Connect those dots and what do you get? For me, those dots draw a picture of a near perfect vaporizer, that has had very few failures, save for some mishaps and a inventor/manufacturer that rises to the challenge of perfection, has a heart bigger than his dream and provides a level of customer service that is surreal.

@peaceonearth. So glad you were able to share some fun quality time with your friend.

It's stories like these that just make you want to be a better person today than you were yesterday.

George, @VapCap. You ARE the best!

Great story. I have not had an experience of this poignancy, but I have found George and Vapcap to be very CS oriented and indeed generous of spirit.

Does anyone know of a way to possibly tighten the lid on the dynastash? The build quality of the dynastash I received is phenomenal but I have noticed the lid moves a lot easier than the previous cocobolo one I ordered months ago to the point of it opening in my pocket a few times. Is there a particular screwdriver I need to tighten the lid? I have a couple screwdrivers at home but nothing that seems to fit the odd shape of the screw on the dynastash.

It's a Torx T10 :sherlock:

Ummm so I may have a problem with my new short burly... I bought it for the girlfriend, got home before her and seen it first and well it might get stolen for my collection lol. Just got off work I'll get a few pics up after I've had a couple caps.
Side note I absolutely love these snapstashes.

^^
She won't be happy dude, that's a lovely VC!

BTW What do you mean by "snapstashes"?

Very nice! The grooves in the chamber end allow more airflow?

I think so. It was more just fucking around with a broken OG & I have heard that grooves allow more airflow. It does work well enough though.

I had my mouthpiece crack & George is happy to replace it. I have not bothered reordering yet as my Ti is working great anyways. That said as soon as I start generating income again I will be ordering a Ti WonG & replacement glass for the OG immediately.

How's the Ti Woody S as an indoor vape? I'm looking to purchase a friend for my lonely pax 2. I love how small and discreet the Woody S is especially with the double crown! Sadly, the pax 2 can make the whole room smell pretty herby even with a smoke buddy, but it makes a great session vape. Will the Ti Woody and a smoke buddy be able to provide me with some quick indoor sessions? I'm in an apartment and even though my roommies don't mind, they don't partake so I'd rather keep smell to a minimum.

I figured with my extremely low tolerance, one cap would be more than enough, especially if I can put it through two or three cycles. Would this be able to get me zooted quickly and with minimal smell or is the vapcap on the danker side?

Thanks guys!!

I don't find the VapCap itself to be a smelly vape as such but it has a rather full extraction cycle so using one in a confined space will make an odor. Nothing major & certainly not anything near as bad as combusting.

My brother uses uses an OG & gets around 4 heat cycles over 2 sessions as he has no tolerance. It gets him well ripped although it may be worth fashioning a raised screen to reduce the bowl size so you can run a full extraction each session.

Beautiful work @PeteSeattle, just pop one in the post for me when you get a sec. That is seriously impressive stuff yet sense this is only the beginning.

Herb gardener...
I just had to pay £23 customs charges on my kannastör gr8tr warranty replacement.... not very happy considering I bought the original in the UK, and it only cost 42 quid for the grinder...

Anyway, should I be expecting to pay customs charges for my vapcap that's on route???

Any UK fc'ers know this???

I wouldn't mind, I know it has to be done, I'm just unhappy paying it for the grinder....

I didnt pay fees. I think the guys at dynavap put the value of the parcel below the threshold for charging import.

My order was over a 100 and no import

I'm quite the lightweight myself now and I don't think the raised screen is necessary. My OG works perfectly fine with even a tiny pinch. I can get full extraction from a single hit if I don't put too much in.

That's a fair enough point. I am a fan of the conduction properties of this system but it is just so variable in the method to the madness.

You do realize this is only the beginning. I see Ti in your future. Yes it is a life changing vape.

Thanks! I'm still kinda new to this, but if I'm not mistaken, you're saying that most of the odor comes from the exhaled vapor correct? Or is it a combination of the heat up and exhalation?

@collegeKid101.

I can detect little to no odor from the Vapcap itself, while heating or when cool. If I put my nose right up to the cap, I can barely make out that there is a slight scent. When it's in the Dynastash I smell nothing at all.

The exhaled vapor does smell. If I vape some flower, windows closed, leave the house and return, I can smell the residue of the vapor hanging in the air. It's not strong and certainly many, many times weaker than if I had smoked a joint.

Disclaimer: I have a terrible sense of smell.

When I vape inside I like to have a window open, but I like fresh air flowing through my house anyway and have my windows open as much as possible. My main floor windows are always closed at night because there are too many wild animals around these parts, like raccoon and bear, that think an accessible open window is an invitation to supper. Like unwelcome strangers, they barge right in, but that's another story. LOL!

The problem with using most conduction vapes with a smoke buddy is that the vaporizer itself leaks vapor, so none of that vapor gets filtered. The longer the session, the more leaked (and wasted) vapor, which leads to more odor.

On its own the VapCap puts out some pretty dank smelling hits in my opinion, especially compared to my convection vapes which are much less smelly. That being said, due to the design of the VapCap I think it would work great with a smoke buddy. The cap keeps the chamber covered, and I haven't seen any vapor leak from there or the mouthpiece end either. The way it works, if I take a long hit it will have stopped producing vapor by the time the hit is over anyway. It heats up fast enough that there isn't much chance to leak vapor.

I've used a smoke buddy jr with my grasshopper at the movie theater and it works great. I'm sure it works just as well with the VapCap, but I won't be using it in the theater for obvious reasons.
