Wait, if an omni fits in a regular dynastash will the omni mp only fit a short body woody? Or does the mp connect to the xl condenser? Or do my questions not make sense because I don't understand the omni mp? I'm trying to decide if I want to go exotic wood mp or try to get an omni mp for my woody (I still need to ask them if I can even get an omni mp).

Sorry, you are correct "final" was a poor choice of words for this product.

Can't wait until they start shipping!

Really enjoying my ti woody. I do have a question is the carb suppose to be on the bottom half of the body?

I find ithat would be better and easier to hold if the carb was more toward the cap.

Just got my @VapCap order and I gotta say, George really knocked it out of the park with my black & white Ebony VonG and Dynastash!

So much so I got a little over photogenic with it.

So with out further ado, hear is some vape porn for you all!

Out for a hike pics.

The Omni body can be swapped with any 45mm body, straight, custom or VonG and works with the Ti condenser and mp.

The Omni condenser and mp is unique to the Omni in that the mp screws onto a threaded portion of the condenser. The regular SS condensers use orings to attach a wood mp. Any of these configurations (except an 18mm VonG) will fit into a regular sized Dynastash/ER.

The Ti condenser and mp can only work together, as I mentioned they screw together. This feature allows you to dial in the degree of airflow resistance you prefer.

You can always buy an XL condenser with wood mp to allow you to also use the longer 62mm stems, straight, custom or VonG.

When you have a modular vape like the Vapcap, your options are endless.

Decisions decisions....

So my Burl on Burl vapcap dynastash combo arrived late last night and in my excitement I took pictures and forgot to post them. Man I love this little thing it took about three months to come in but it was worth every second I tell you what. Not the biggest clouds in the world but amazingly cool vapor for the size of her and the ease of just loading a dynastash up, putting it in one pocket, putting and abv bag in the other pocket with a lighter and knowing you have enough to vape the day away with that is an unparralled experience. Well enough of my jabber here are some pictures of Burl on Burl:

I also have to say it was an unexpected surprise and some major credit should be due if you ask me to dynavap here because Matt emailed me about my order telling me I was getting a dynastash xl instead of the normal sized dynastash I originally ordered. To clarify on this when I originally made my order with George the dynastash XLs weren't available and George said he would have to cut the body of the burly down to make it able to fit into the dynastash with a mouthpiece on. Well I wasn't aware of the dynastash XLs but Matt cleared this up for me when he told me my order was a full bodied burly with a dynastash XL and he dint even charge me anything extra for it. They could have easily just kept my order and not upgraded it but they chose to do so and to me that's going above and beyond customer service so I also want to give a shootout to dynavap as a whole for the wonderful vaporizer and just as wonderful customer service I have received! Sorry if that was a ramble I'm pretty baked off this vapcap...

The heating time with the single is too long for me, I understand completely. The double seems just as fast as the triple or very close to it, I'm hoping it uses less butane. I have a vortex triple on order with my Dynastash too.

Both my double and triple heat my VapCap in almost the same time as my Grasshopper takes to get heated. I think my OmniVap is almost like a butane powered conduction hopper, they make a great pair.

This is such an excellent description of this product. With the right heat source it's basically a conduction {grass}hopper :)

For me this is both an upside and a downside as I found last night I think the conduction vaping feel is more suited to helping me sleep with less meds than convection, but that the taste doesn't stay as nice as it does on convection if you're aiming to extract as much as you can, maybe I'm doing it wrong as everyone raves about how tasty the Vapcap is. Which on my very first hit of a load, or sometimes the second one depending on which strain(yea I've played with it a bit already) is definitely my experience. There's a burst of flavor that's a more delightful taste than most other vapor I've had. But I find my go-to vape(which is convection) tastes better overall.

I also find that my ability or inability to notice the click and possibly combust accidentally is a very good indication of when I've had enough XD

I feel like there's something I'm not quite getting yet with this one, which is exciting considering how much I like it right now. If I don't figure out the sticking points I think that may change, but I'm also not exactly sure what to ask for in terms of advice. So I'm either on the right path, or I'm so far off of it that whatever path I am on is the only path I can see. Can anyone offer some guidance? Does it sound like I'm at least on the right path? I don't need answers necessarily, just need a bit of a push toward finding them on my own or reassurance I'm heading there. But answers are always great too :D

So I just got another one of those amazing order complete emails a few mins ago... I may be the only person disappointed by that lol, was gonna add a few more items to this order (#2722 from July 6th burl vapcap s in case anyone was curious) oh well still pretty excited.. Edit- I also run the Ti screen dome down, not for any particular reason other than it made sense in my head.

A few days back: made a few crude kickstands from thermoplastic, inspired by:

Has anyone developed or thought of a way to protect the OGs glass? I can't afford a Ti and the OG would be enough for me but I can't tell if I'd drop it within the first week or not and shatter it. I'm thinking of some sort of protective sleeve or something that 1. Covers the glass for protection and 2. makes the reclaim inside invisible (less suspicious)

Today: Melted my silicone mouthpiece in the oven, trying to drive off combustion odor. Whoops... A little too long at 350°F.

Drilled out a wine cork to make a temporary replacement, which works surprisingly well!

Thats what I thought at first but with practice and good technique on the air intake (carb) clouds are possible. I find bigger clouds from hitting it harder, perhaps because of the reverse induction airflow. And through water, wow! :o

I very recently discovered how great this vape is through water. And just now I whitewalled my D020-D better than I have with any other vape, and no combustion!

I agree. The first heat cycle my OmniVap tastes as good as any vape I've tried. I find the flavor to drop off quickly and get that conduction flavor. There is a new Ti tip in the works, the Double HexaHelix, that promises to offer more convection:
Today is an awesome day!

I have some exciting news!

Fist off, today is my one year anniversary of taking this project public. I launched my doomed indienogo around 4:00 a year ago today. I sold 4 VapCaps the first week the campaign was live. The second week, if you look at the start date of this thread, this thread was started. Thank you @Fenton Mewley . Please let me know if I can assist you in any way.

Well, if that wasn't cool enough, today is also the date I filed some really cool patent stuff. Formalized some filings on the pyrovap, and a few other awesome things too.

like this little guy.

This is my next generation Titanium tip. It is the first one machined, and I just received it today.

It was a surprise as I didn't expect the machine shop to be able to get to these until next week, so when the call came in today, Oh Boy! I was standing next to the cnc lathe as it was parted off. I kinda felt like a new Dad. I have high hopes for this little gem. Check out the geometry on it. I call it the DHH, or Double HexaHelix, as it has 6 helical grooves wound clockwise and 6 anticlockwise. Compared to the prior generation Ti tip, this one should have 4 times the convection capability. With these extra grooves (intersecting ones at that) there is not only additional airflow, but additional surface area to heat the displacement airflow as well as an intentionally turbulent flow path to ensure maximum heat exchange. This is the closest to ideal "ConVapTion yet. That is the perfect mixture of convection, conduction and a VapCap in the middle bringing the whole complex simplicity together.

And now, for your visual enjoyment is the first CCD. That is Circumferential Compression Diffuser. These little beauties have been in development for sometime, and are now finally ready for the initial release. They are very easy to insert. Just push them in from the mouthpiece side and they will click right into the groove.
Easy to insert and easy to remove, easy to clean.

So, last thing. I still plan on increasing the pricing on a few items in about a week. I want to make sure all FC members know ahead of time.

Cheers,

George

To be honest I felt that way a little bit at first. I wasn't getting the vapor quality I wanted. All it took was refining my technique, like a lot of vapes I've used. It was actually not too hard, the click helps a lot.

Once you dial in your technique it performs great. It's fast to heat up, and fast to finish a load. With two heat cycles I can be surprisingly medicated.

Part of it is the ritual too. Maybe because I smoked so long, I like the act of heating the cap. Maybe I just like playing with fire.

I can't wait to get my Wenge Dynastash, that looks to be a big part of the ritual. I'm so tempted to buy an OG from @PuffItUp just to play around with.

Stick with it @j-bug, you'll get there!

Which way do you prefer to insert these? With the rounded side up (facing the cap) or down?

I think I will have to pick some of these up. I'm happy with the airflow on my omni, I actually keep it at max restriction usually.

I'm not a huge fan of ceramic in chambers because I find it stains and absorbs odor. I've heard you can torch the ceramic screens clean but they seem so delicate.

The ceramic in the omni is a tiny amount and not a big deal, but I would certainly prefer titanium and those linked screens seem like a great alternative while we wait for George's wizardry. I'm really looking forward to his titanium diffusers and the double hexa-helic titanium tip.

I found those screens on Amazon Prime. They are a lot more expensive, but I don't use eBay anymore.

The ones on EBay actually come from Puffitup so you may be able to just go to their website.

Thanks for the heads up. I just discovered this myself while reading old posts in this thread. Unfortunately I bought from Amazon yesterday, I needed something else so I got the Ti screens too. Amazon is great and all but I'd rather give my business to @PuffItUp. And I could have just bought 2 instead of 5.

Oh well. For anyone else interested, here's the link:

Looks fine to me. I used a punch from a set that just a bit smaller than the screen so I could seat it squarely. I should think the eraser end of a #2 yellow pencil would work well (not sure if it will fit but something like that...or a small dowel....makes it removal/insertion much easier).

The fat end of a chopstick works perfectly...

I will love a yellow one, if at some point you're interested on selling some send me a DM :)

@PeteSeattle, people really seem to love your work, me included!

Stick with it, I expect to see Accessory Maker below your name one day. I would love a heady glass body with a small carb to use with my Omni. I'm thinking blue and yellow. Or red and black. Or one of each lol. There's gold in them there hills!

Thanks guys. Hitting the shop today for more practice on clear glass and perhaps show off a colored one. I want to try to make a shorty of some sort today. I've got black glass ... might try that.

Thanks motivating feedback!
