My guess is that the added stainless steel allows for more heat retention and the copper for better heat dissipation and conductivity. So it will take longer to click but by how much will depend on the copper to stainless steel ratio. The one with the most amount of copper will heat up the fastest (but still slightly longer than a standard cap).I wonder what would be the effect of that copper ring if you try to vape in a windy situation ,which is the case where dynavaps perform already bad enough. Faster cooling ? Cold weather might also decrease performance.
I'm actually quite interested in this, but I'm pretty sure it's useless when you're using an IH. It does sound like a great improvement for people who use a torch and want to get into vapcaps, and for those who want to clear the bowl in one massive hit.
I really like the idea of a hot cap and that's just about the only new product I'd be interested in. Until the 2022 models hit the market
