There is no free, it's promotion and the expense is factored into the retail and distributor price.
I agree they are figgin fugly for no good reason.

those 3 are perfect together. way i see they are the small, medium and large serving of butane vapes. i went with lamart's Piro instead of the Sticky Brick due to proximity and size of the device.Exactly! And every Vapcap owner should have a Sticky Brick, so I guess every Sticky Brick owner should also have a Vapman, and...
anyhow, Happy VASmas and a foggy New Year!
Not sure this helps, but I read a couple recent complaints on r/dynavap about newer vongs (the Cocobolos were just landing) being 'loose' and one guy noticed a small gap between the wood and one Ti end or the other. He solved it by simply pressing the top and bottom of the body together a bit and achieving a normal fit. I'd suggest searching over there and seeing if there's additional advice.
I've recommended standing the Vong on end and whacking the top of it with a book. Use a book you don't like. It is a simple crimp and someone just didn't give it enough umph.
the parts are pressfit together. took off the tip and pushed it down into my not cocobolo desk vertically from the mouthpiece end when it felt too loose.Santa brought me a shiny new Vong 21 for Christmas! It’s a lot prettier than my old Nonavong and has a nice weight. I think it will last awhile. There were a couple of things that I didn’t like though.
The air-hole adjustment was too loose. The body would spin freely causing the air hole to open or close with normal handling. I didn’t see any way to tighten it or lock it place, so I set it to where I wanted and slipped a piece of heat shrink tubing over the parts that turn, and heated the tubing enough to hold things snuggly in place. Not a big deal but for the price I think it could be designed better.
And I’m not impressed with the new captive cap, unless I want to do 10 heat cycles with wispy hits to finish a load, but I like to take bigger hits in a water piece. I assume the looseness of these new caps doesn’t transfer heat like the old caps. I replaced it with a regular cap and it now works like gangbusters.

After installing the tubing and and replacing the cap.

The problem is now fixed. I stood it up and tried smacking it with a book but that didn’t do much, so I grabbed a rubber hammer and that took care of it! There was a small gap at the mouthpiece end that’s no longer there, and the air adjustment is now tighter and useable.the parts are pressfit together. took off the tip and pushed it down into my not cocobolo desk vertically from the mouthpiece end when it felt too loose.
Personally, I despise logos to the point where I will go out of my way to get unbranded devices whenever I can:
That's a Herb Ripper, O'Connell Woodworks Travel Debowler and Flower Mill that I specifically contacted the manufacturers to make without branding.
Even with this mindset, I find it hard to complain about the appearance of fully functioning vaporizers given out by a company. Yes, Karmavaps, Ms for Friends and even C-Vaps are marketing tools and advertising not "gifts" in the strictest sense, but I mean, why wouldn't they try to realize some value for their business while giving away product for free?
I can think of instances where free Dyncoils, stems, quite recently Induction Heaters, and a metric tonne of 7-fin tips being given out with no expectation from Dynavap for recipients to do anything other than use the products how they saw fit. They've been more than generous towards their customer base and I think they've earned some leeway despite some truly horrendous looking branding on those freebies, but that's just my opinion.
Bigger book ;] Glad you got it sorted. The problem is now fixed. I stood it up and tried smacking it with a book but that didn’t do much, so I grabbed a rubber hammer and that took care of it! Thanks to all who shared the solution.
Just out in the cold. It’s got a hot tip on it which helps get bigger rips when I’m forced to vape out there. Vaping in the cold changes the variables. You really notice it vaping on something like the CH B-1.Is your Revolve out on loan?
How you liking your revolve? I'm patiently waiting for mine!Just out in the cold. It’s got a hot tip on it which helps get bigger rips when I’m forced to vape out there. Vaping in the cold changes the variables. You really notice it vaping on something like the CH B-1.
Having another Revolve on the way, I did almost give the Revolve to my brother over Christmas. After thinking about it my thoughts lead to, why would I do that?. I gave him some clothes and a Boundless CFV I won.
Really enjoying it. It has more features than I need but who knows one day I might need them. I’ve been running it in water pipe mode, air port closed and vapor traveling through the cooling unit, and it’s pretty gunked up. So much so that I can’t spin the air port adjustment when it’s cold. It’s fine when it warms up.How you liking your revolve?
With the screen. It does a great job at grabbing the particulates but the honey still condensates on the cooling unit making it gooey. The innards stay considerably cleaner when compared to something like a Vortex. Are you using it with the screen or without?
So I notice the new tips only have one choice of scoring inside so it is either a full tip or about a 1/3 tip. There used to be 3 positions including one right off the bottom that allowed a tiny bit of clearance. I liked it better when there were more choices...
