Vong update: My third vong arrived from Vapefiend the other day. The previous two both arrived with non spinning wood straight out the box. This time around they checked to make sure it was spinning freely before despatch, but it arrived stuck again after being in transit for just 24 hrs and atmospheric conditions being quite dry. I used it briefly but still closed rock solid after a few days.

I could put it in the freezer briefly or leave it in a tub of brown rice but I think I prefer just to return it for a refund rather than trying to get it to loosen up. Kinda feel reluctant to accept a product that's so sensitive to humidity, especially living in a country with such a damp climate. Maybe I should just move somewhere drier like Death Valley, northern Africa or the Atacama in Chile ? Hmm, great for stargazing too.:myday:
My Vong also spun at first but then stuck. I got it free by freezing it till it moved, then putting butcher block oil onto the inner tube where the (closed) airport hole is and twisting it back and forth. Basically lubing under the sleeve. Mineral oil would also work. Sorry to hear about your multiple frustrations, it's really quite good if you can get one to work right

Has anyone tried delta 8 distillate on the dynacoil? I found the delta 8 vape cart to be really harsh. Im wondering if the dynavap would be a better option to cool the vapor.

I think I remember more reports of v1 being too hot, so they may have adjusted their target to keep the hotter running units from being too hot. That would also leave the cooler ones too cool. The vertical position of the coil can make a big difference. That’s one reason I prefer having a heater I can adjust or have adjusted for me.

You should be able to adjust by counting past the click or maybe using a different (older?) cap, but it sucks to have to do that. :disgust:
Tried going past the click all I get is a uneven roast and nasty tasting herb

What is a TonG? I'm picturing a tool for removing a hot cap.

I was wondering, too... Ti on Glass? or Tip on Glass...?
Yes Ti on Glass for the new '21 VonG as compared to the older VonG's that were WonG's Wood on Glass.
WonG TonG, baby

Edit:
That's it :)
@Thick Vape is prolly referring to his VonG (which he has),
Fancying perhaps of it as being a T(i)onG while typing.

Or possibly, he could have adopted the new nomenclature by calling it a
T(hermal Extraction Device) on G(lass). A TonG.

Being creative.

the term, => TonG, “Thermal Extraction Device on Glass”!
ThonG's :brow:. it's your "invention"

So the former DynaVap vaporizers are now called TED's
Some TED's are ThonG's and some are not, like the Omni.
Then some ThonG's are M's, and some are VonG's, which divide into WonG's and TonG's.:myday::rofl:

ThonGs for my GF

Edit: That is just silly... ThonGs for the world :D

You could reach out to @phattpiggie he makes some amazing stems. I think he's in the UK.

Great cheap wooden stems from the UK, don't let the price fool you into thinking they are not well made - they are. He seems to have just walnut and zebrano on sale at the mo, he sometimes puts up stems made from very nice looking olive wood.

Here's my walnut hourglass stem with an Omni setup, which is one of my favourite ways to use a vapcap.

Ahh... It reminds me of my first purchase of a wood body. I was in search for the original one, but no way to find it because it was discontinued. So I took the latest done by Ed's-TnT.

I still want the OG "Woody double crown" one, that is the same diameter as the tip and the mouthpiece, it's just my minimalism playing tricks with me. :science:

If someone knows a dealer in EU, please let me know! :sherlock:

@Hawaiian No idea about this French shop, or if they really have it in stock (as it appears to me), but I saw this recently which might be what you are looking for:

I've talked to them the last year. But it seems like there's no more in stock. Just those new stems by Ed.

New England wood works, has an Etsy shop. Last checked had a beautiful pressed flower in resin, and they are all the standard dyna length.

A local source would be a good bet.
A better bet would be a local woodshop with
Some happy hippies/stoners.

They will most likely turn some fine stems to fit your specs, while keeping the smile on your wallet. :2c:

You can also ask someone in the forum. For instance, TD bear, AKA Tommy D, sports some superb Flemish-like
VC stems (he specializes in nakked FQ).
