My Hula Stems from
@Sneaky Pete arrived a day early

I put my favorite ti tip and cap combo on the Ocean colored one, which I would call cobalt, and put my favorite SS tip and cap combo on the Appalachian Sunrise, which to me is a rusty orange color.
They are cool to look at, and as happens with glass, not identical.
If you've been looking to have a glass experience using the vapcap natively this is the best I've ever tried. The
@DDave wands are fabulous in glass water pieces or j-hooks, and I have three at my beck and call 24/7, but I don't like the mouth feel enough to use them natively. And I think the larger diameter of the wands makes mouthpulls, my vapcap technique now, less effective.
These Hulas have a great mouth feel, and the nipples in the glass do cool the vapor. Quite a bit. And the results are outstanding. Mouthpulls yield great gobs of tasty vapor. And for me there's a sweet, clean taste to glass stems on any vape that enhance the experience for me. By a lot.
My favorite SS tip/cap combo worked even better than it did on its previous stem, and the Ti tip performed at least as well, if not a bit better, than it did on my Omni XL; that really surprised me.
These also reinforce the notion that the air inlet is really unnecessary if your approach to the vapcap is using mouthpulls.
My only con is there's only one size option; it's 2.5" long. I have big hands and I would love to see a 3" or tad longer version. There would be more breakage sure, but it might be worth it. That said, I'm sure I'll be getting used to these in no time at all. Cuz I'm going to use and abuse them over the weekend.
For $18 they're a great glass option for the vapcap.
Cheers, FCers
