Mail call and why you always clean a new vape before using it! Plus a couple of empty heat cycles in Induction Heaters. First pic is the first heat up(brand new cap and tip) from the Portside Mini, the second is from the Fluxer Deluxe 14mm coil. I figured the 14mm coil FD would change the color of the cap a lot more, that’s why I used it second, they look the same to me. Last is after six heat cycles, two empty and four full from the FD.

Does that one have a cracked disc like the one shown above?

Nope- there was nothing obviously physically wrong with it. No dents, cracks etc. It just stopped working correctly. I tried soaking it in iso- that didn't fix anything.

At first the cool down click was the issue- it would have a normal heat up click, but the cool down click would come prob 2 minutes after Id put it on a dynastash magnet. After a little while the heat up click became erratic too and I retired it.

Monk Debate

The monks do be debatin’
After spending several nights with the single flame torch, I’ve figured out my preferred heating method. Fast twist on the Dynavap, torch at a 45 degree angle and moving up and down the length of the cap. I loaded up my M with some White Tahoe Cookies and using that method of heating, I got a ton of flavor and the coolest vapor I’ve yet had from the Dynavap. I was filtering it through water but eventually just went to straight hits off the M because the vapor was so cool I didn’t need the water path. I had done at least six hits, if not eight, and only tasted a little ABV on the last hit.

I’m very curious to see how that technique compares to an induction heater.

For those who have a PSM, which works better a SS/Tip or Ti/Tip ??? :leaf:
I like to use the Ti over my SS. But maybe that’s just because my SS shadow is my EDC DV and my Ti is strictly bong. I can clear a load in three heat cycles with the PSM and Ti tip. First cycle is 3 mississippi after the click(s)(yes I say it under my breath or out loud “1 mississippi, 2 mississippi...”) which yields a nice hit. Second hit is 2 mississippi and I get an even nicer hit. Third cycle is donezo for me and I just do another 2 count. Tastes a little toasty and AVB is on the much darker side.

I have yet to expierence a cool hit from DV’s except of course when I pull through my bong. I used to rock the single torch and really loved heating low on the cap but since I got my technique down on the PSM it’s been my go to...

Until I get my hands on a Fluxer Deluxe with 14mm coil~

I'm starting to enjoy my 2018 vapcap m, and now I'm wondering if I should upgrade to the omni xl? Is the vapor much cooler in the xl?

The Xl length have not much to do with cooling of the Vapor. The most useful is the Xl lenght when you have large hands makes it easier to spin. The main difference is that the Omni has the Ti-Tip what have a much better airflow also it heat up and cool down faster and you can change the bowl size to 75% of the capacity or to 50% of the capacity and with the condenser from the Omni you have the ability to set the airflow to your liking without to have use the carb, the Omni weights also only the half of the M.

I go past the click like that on just the first hit with my Jarhead and I wanna try it on subsequent hits now too.

You might consider a 15mm coil on your FD. Pretty sure that's what I settled on and I wouldn't want it any hotter or faster - not with my Omni at least. I won't have a stainless steel tip until the new M arrives. With the Omni I have to stop right at the click and a full load is done in three heat cycles.

Yea, my 14mm FD doesn’t play nice with fresh batteries and my ti tip. It’s awesome with my ss tip, heats it about as fast as the PSM heats a ti tip. I have a 15mm ordered.

I’ve been heating my vapcap with a wall-powered induction heater for a while now and find the heating time and magnet cool down so consistent and predictable that I don’t pay much attention to the click. I feel if the clicker stopped working, I wouldn’t miss a beat. I realize his wouldn’t be as easy with a torch but I bet experienced users can come close.

Can anyone help identify these tips and condensers? One of the condensers is about 1mm longer then he other one? Also, 1 Ti tip has 7 fins and one has 5? Thanks
I'll take a guess... my first gen 2016 Omni has 4 orings on the condenser. My 2017 Omni XL has only 3 high temp orings on the condenser. I believe round about 2018 George began using the grey orings. So I imagine that the left Omni condenser is a 2017 version and the one on your right is a 2018 version of the Omni condenser.

My 2016 Omni condenser pictured on the far right.

The tips are easier.

The 7 fin tip is the 4th gen tip introduced Jan 1 2017.

The 5 fin tip is a 5th gen tip introduced May 8 2017 and was sold until April 2018 when the 6th gen tip with its more chiseled fins and round valleys were offered for sale.

So how are people cleaning their Dynacoil?

I've been leaving mine soaked in iso but it doesn't seem to be cleaning it fully and I'm not eager to use it again. Just soaking it in iso doesn't seem to be doing it, and since you shouldn't uncoil it (that would be so useful if you could), can you torch it ?

Wish I had a ultra sonic cleaner.

Looks like @davesmith glass spikey stems are in stock now here in the states! https://vgoodiez.com/

I have been playing with a xl and a xxl from https://www.vapewellness.co.uk/ since this passed Friday.
Fast shipping from them across the pond. Ordered it on Thursday night in hands following Friday. Sent candy, stickers and nice handwritten thank you. Plus cautioned with being careful when inserting and removing tip from glass. Great purchase
I have been enjoying them both, the xxl more. Very nice cool hits, much cooler than a metal or wood stem with or without condensor. I have only tried a TI tip, steel I would think transfer more heat to glass? The spikes seem to collect most everything that gets pass the screen, plus the good sap.:brow:
Both stems have a nice, not to tight fit for the tip.

Any size of one of these stems will be a nice addition to anyones collection

I’ve just been soaking in iso, but assuming your concentrate is fairly pure, there shouldn’t be much left on it after you are done? Are you sure you aren’t leaving good stuff behind?

Anyway, after an iso soak mine have looked brand new.

Have you tried just torching it like one can with a quartz nail/banger?

Shit. Still waiting on mine.
Tracking said it passed through Chicago going on six days ago now, with no other tracking updates. Hope it hasn't been lost.

Maybe someone else was in need of a glass Dynavap stem more than me

They are indeed quite good. Thanks to you sir.

I have an XL - heat transfer doesn't seem bad IMO regardless of tip in my experience. I also heat aggressively and vape my vapcap bowls quite quickly, so I think it would be evident if it was bad. It does get hot by the tip, but the stem is never uncomfortable to hold further down, and cools down quickly anyway.

The vapor is tasty and cool. I am having to get better with dip-n-sip by timing or just feeling, using these. It's easier to take a bowl a little further than I typically would, since the harshness of the vapor disappears.

I'm also quite happy with how well the tips fit. I'm sure it varies piece to piece, but I am pleasantly surprised and happily enjoying mine.

Thanks, @Slickwilly! Ordered one from Vgoodiez,
their instruction said to specify the length size small, medium, or long;—however, in item description, it showed “small” as the only option at the time my order was placed.

Somewhat confusing. We will see.

Medium would be best (for me) in terms of length, and ergonomics. (They would have done better to have called the small as “regular”.) YMMV

(Mailed from Georgia! Woo-hoo! Shipped across the pond, only to sit in ISC O’Hare is like waiting for Hell to freeze over! Move over, Dante.) :myday:

@Ramahs , the ISC outside of O’Hare moves international mailing like molasses. It has been known to
Sit on parcels for days on end. They do eventually move the packages, much to the
