So what is the omni?
That’s pretty rad.I bought a new cap during the Dynacoil sale, and the one I got is numbered like the Shadow M caps. Did anyone else receive one of these?
Seems to beThat’s pretty rad.
I wonder if this is the new norm??
That's one way to tell the real caps from the fakes on eBay.That’s pretty rad.

It could be. Maybe for inventory control?
The other thing odd about the cap is that this pic was taken after about 40-50 heating cycles in a Portside Mini. You can't tell from the lighting in the pic, but the cap is still silver and shows very little signs of being heated.
Every single one of my caps showed signs of heat tempering after a single use of a torch or an IH.

don't worry, you won't hurt the cap. I always heat a bit last the click with concentrates and hash and I also use @Phattpiggies Dip and Sip method where you don't allow the cool down click to occur until you're done.

If I go past the click using my IH with flower it’ll almost always combust...at least on the second hit.I always heat past the click using my induction heater...but I've never had to go as far as I find I need to for the dynacoil. George suggested that using the dynacoil we should still follow the clicks. I haven't had any luck doing that.
With its adjustable bowl size, I find the omni is actually less expensive to own and use in the long run than my m.

With the coil I go about 2 seconds past the click and have been getting great results.
I have pipes PSMInteresting..which induction heater are you using? I have one of Pipe's. It came with instructions to go to 2-3 seconds past the click. I find thats required. If I just go to the click I get almost nothing. Combustion happens more around 4 seconds past the click. Thats just normally using a vapacp- not the dynacoil.
The dynacoil, Im finding requires me to go well past the click- whether I use a torch or an induction heater.

I do not remember the instructions saying to go past the click though.
I can go past the click on the first hit by about one second and be OK but if I go past to click on the second hit... then it’s usually combustion time.
I respect the click.
What kind of concentrate are you using?
Our units are definitely different then. Here's a link to Pipes induction heater info:

"To activate the heater, you simply press the VC strait into the hole until you feel/hear the tactile switch engage and LED light goes on. Once the VC clicks, wait another 3-4 count before removing to inhale."
I stick with 3 seconds personally. I've never had combustion doing that.
I've only had the coil a few days but I've tried shatter, crumble and live resin/sauce. They all seem to behave the same. I only get results if I really go past the click by several seconds.
I played around with it some more last night and found I can get nice results if I just disregard the click-it works particularly well through water. Dry, I wasn't enjoying nearly as much.
I need to stop making stems my Plano case is overflowing.
