Interesting experience last night.. I'm a Vapman enthusiast. the ritualistic nature of the torch and Vapman are dear to me. This is why I knew once it landed on my radar, that based on user reviews I would love Vapcaps as well... That foresight also told me that I NEED an induction heater to compliment the device... I was correct in all my assumptions. However...
PSM died on me last night. Previously I had logged at least a couple torch sessions. My technique was lame, end result was ok... Last night I grabbed my torch with confidence and started spinning. Somehow in that moment I mastered my spin. I intuitively stopped rushing like I had to revolve the device a specific amount of times in order achieve results. My spin was slow, firm and controlled. Super consistent. I use a single flame (not for beginners which makes sense). First session I heated towards the tip of the cap... I was getting a click in like 3 seconds. Very quickly. One extremely tasty hit then immediate click. Session continued in this way, and I was reminded of my dear old friend Vapman. (I shed tears of vapor love in that moment). That session brought true love to the Vapcap... After about 5 low temp beautiful draws, I took my new technique and focused the flame towards the middle of the cap. Wow. The induction heater for me IS a necessity It adds another dimension to a butane vaporizer. But the torch allows complete control. The quality of vapor one desires is more easily dialed in?
All I know for sure, is I just truly discovered my stealth after about 2 weeks of steady use. The torch is invaluable for complete control and low temp vaping. I'll still walk with my PSM, but I can't wait to put the torch to my stealth later this evening!
