I used some raw cotton under O rings to tighten them up a bit, it only takes one or two windings to add the extra diameter for a good fit.

Gorgeous! I may have to have one of these. I know a long time ago I had my eye on a burl square, but you were having loads of problems with the burl splitting/breaking. I love the shape!

I just received this stem from @SuperD

It put a smile on my face and has made my day! He has exceeded my expectations in every way save one. I never would have thought I would like a stem only piece, however this one is fantastic! The looks the finish the texture the balance the vapor all phenomenal! It's changed my DV in a way I would not have believed before my experience with @SuperD 's work! Get your custom orders in we have a great new DV accessory maker!

I haveta say, even though I have kinda small hands, after getting my Ti Omni XL and now a XL Vong with the ti MP, I am liking the XL length a lot. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my Woody S and my Cocobolo Nonavong as well, but I am finding that the extra 17mm does make a difference in comfort holding and spinning. I really didn't expect there to be much difference, but there is much more than I expected.

With mine I've noticed if I switch the ABV from my new tip back to my gen 3 I can get a -slight- wisp of vapor more from the gen 3 more compared to the LE tip but it is such a small amount and has a negligible effect.

This reflects my experience! @Smokey McVape , maybe you just need a little more experimentation with your LE 7-fin? One solid heat cycle with a single flame pointed at the bottom of the cap to finish your session (the tip should be pre-warmed from previous heat cycles) will probably extract as much as possible with the lowest chance of getting any smokey taste or (near-) blackening. You're allowed to prefer Gen 4 or 5, but do be sure to give the new tip a fair chance.

I took some pictures last night but lighting wasn't that good so I've got some from today.

(heat cycles were 2 [I think] from the triple and one from the single)

Both chambers are at smallest CCD setting. Green Crack through Finishing Grinder. I gave each tip 3 heat cycles: 1 with a triangle triple torch and 2 with a single flame at the bottom of the cap. (The 3rd heatings both yielded significantly less vapor than the 2nd ones.)

(ABV lighting is always tricky; I don't expect accurate representation in pictures, but it's good enough for comparison.)

I'm extremely satisfied with either performance. Not even close to charring with the Gen 5, but the LE's result is clearly slightly lighter (flash was used for the above pic). Fast, thorough, enjoyable extraction from both tips.

Magic-Flight WPA (fits 10mm Dynavap mouthpiece), cheap dry bubbler, single torch, triangle triple torch.

Anyone with the case of the Monday's?
I'm curious how many DV pieces and mods people here have gifted away?, over the course of a year I gave away a quarter of my Dyna-purchases, as much as I like collecting things, it pleases me more to inspire others in joining on our Vapcap discoveries.
I've given away a 4 Ms so far to friends and will be gifting another to my sister next week when I visit her. I have enjoyed giving Vapcaps more than any other gift. They are so novel and yet so fun and functional. I wish I had more friends who consume weed so I could convert them to vaping and the Vapcap.

Is there any other vaporizer that generates this desire to give to others?

I think I need to get myself one of those finishing grinders.

Sounds like there will be less chance of a prolong burn with the SE, less .

—Still, I like my OG 4th Gen tippy toe-toe which is chugging along, Choo-Choo! Puff. Puff. :ko:

Shall I compare thee to a what say ye, @Summer? What acessement have you made
with your new tip?

@Mr.Sifter, your acessement please, we can always expect a no frills honest opinion from you.

May have to get me one, just out of curiosity. In time. :spliff:

In my experience, the FG is completely unnecessary for a great Dynavap experience. I used it for the sake of visual clarity and easily consistent pack in my above test & comparison photos. I will grant that the FG can allow you to pack way more, if you so desire, and provide surprisingly fast extraction and huge faster hits.

Generally I vape material ground by my 4-piece Space Case, or little pieces ripped straight off the buds. You can always crush your material with your fingers after a couple of heat cycles if you want to easily get a near-fine powder. Even a mini bud can vape excellently as long as it isn't too dense (which would restrict airflow to the inner surfaces). Good airflow through the packing is one of the keys for a thorough extraction.

The appeal for me is the faster extraction time. I find that I get 2 heat cycles from the smallest setting on my omnivap but if I can reduce this to 1 then using my omnivap out and about becomes even quicker and more importantly even more discrete.

You must be a beast to be able to get full extraction in one heating cycle. With my IH I get 3-4 cycles from the smallest setting. I can't imagine trying to get all that in one cycle. But I'm old.

You MIGHT be able to get a single super-hit out of a fine packing, but usually I'd recommend at least 2 hits anyway since generally a first heating from cold just can't get as high of a temperature and as thorough an extraction as a one where the tip has been primed / warmed up. Experiment and see what works best for you !

Material ground by the Finishing Grinder IS particularly easy to pack into the tip by pushing the chamber into the herbs (if using a small glass jar or Magic-Flight Escape Pod, for example), so this might be a plus for you!

Good day, my fine fellow fuckers of combustion and DynaVap family! It's so fucking good to be back after a forced I-break. Not a T-break, never that, perish the thought! No, nothing that sinister but almost!

** WARNING** this is all OT, so read it or skip it or report me! :haw: JK, don't report me please.

We rarely get snow in our corner of England, if we do it's usually Feb-March and very light. I've only seen 2 decent snows that lasted more than a day in well over ten years, one of those on Easter. Last week, #3 just covered us in a Siberian blast and most things were closed. So my lovely wife and teens were home from school and then... our internet connection pooped the bed. Oh yeah and BT couldn't send an engineer to fix it for five days. I haven't been a week away from FC since discovering it, as sad as that sounds; and no interwebs means no FC. WTF?! It's crazy that for most of my life, I lived happily with no interwebs at all and now it is like oxygen or something. It's bound to be really rough for those like my sons who've never known anything else. Anyway I'm so happy to be back and got loads of catching up to do!

Having a VapCap or two (or 10) around for emergencies sure makes me feel more prepared to spend long hours confined with those I'm meant to love unconditionally, rather than reenact The Shining. :uhoh:
