I always begin heating the cap over the bottom third, near the digger outter. This brings the Vapcap up to a nice toking temp from a cold start. The second cycle is heated over the middle third because there is residual heat in the tip and bottom heat is not needed at this point. I finish off a third cycle heating the top third of the cap. This gives me a nice toast colored ABV, smooth tokes and no coughing.
I always use fresh herb. I never take a toke and save the rest for later. The tip is loaded with the amount of herb I intend on fully extracting in one session, over about a minute or less.
For easy hits through the night, I use Pipes Induction Heater either with dry herb or with a concentrate using a concentrate pad. Concentrate is nice because I can load the Vapcap up with enough concentrate for several sessions without the flavor being comprimised. One hit and I'm back to dreamland. No loading, no dumping. Just instant bliss.
Checkout the link below on the method I use for concentrates.
Correct. Titanium Omni condensers are not compatible with spinning mouthpieces because the Omni condenser threads onto an Omni mp as a complete unit. Spinning mps are held onto a regular condenser with x shaped orings. Two different animals.
There are two types of condensers; regular condensers and Omni condensers. Both come in a standard length and an XL length. The condenser determines the overall length of your Vapcap. The standard length will give you a 3.5 inch Vapcap and the XL will give you a 4.25 inch Vapcap. The shorter length is great for stealth and the longer one is easier for large hands to handle. They are both great and it's nice to have both. The standard length ones go out and about with me and the longer ones stay at home for indoor use.
The regular condensers accommodate different configurations. For example a standard length condenser can accommodate a 62mm configuration. So you could have a Vapcap with;
- a 45mm BODY with a 17mm spinning mp.
Or
- a 62mm STEM with no mp.
an XLS length condenser can accommodate a 79mm configuration. So you could have a Vapcap with;
- a 62mm STEM with a 17mm mp.
The Omni condenser is a threaded condenser which threads onto a titanium Omni mp. The condenser and mp work together as one unit. By loosening of tightening the mp onto the condenser opens or closed the airflow for a set it and forget it customized air restriction.
