I've been struggling getting off combustion and have only recently tried the Dynavap M, I own a few vapes and while I really enjoy them and all their individual benefits, this little thing feels the closest to combustion for me at least. My borrowed unit is seeing me well through my transition.

I'm very impressed with it both in terms of efficiency, even extraction, (I haven’t needed to stir once so far), potency, feel of the ‘old school’ in my hands, size, simplicity. Very impressed and if anyone is trying to quit combustion this is working well for me. I have combusted a few times in the first day but it was just understanding how and where to heat.

I’m thinking of buying one for myself but I’m not sure what to get, M , Omni or Omni XL, Vong etc ?

Anyway the M is working well for me and I’m super impressed with it.

Can't speak for @Winegums but I'm M exclusive.
@Summer a magnet helps with the cap removal or the little rubber bung from a Vaponic case.
I've not tried filling the bowl with the cap on but have sucked up a fresh load, checked to make sure it's full and been really disappointed with the vapor production.
A little bemused at this point as you can imagine but after emptying the bowl I realised the fresh load was only a millimetre or so thick and the rest was the previous loads ABV.
Note to self...check the bowl is empty before refilling.

*Pretty sure @Winegums is a ss man.

@Taazokaan, it doesn't look like you got a dark wood one. Looks like you got a light wood & a lighter light wood. I got the light wood & it's the same color as what you're referring to as the dark wood, which should be closer to walnut. I would have loved to have gotten your package. :p (Mods, we need a 'green with envy' smile. ;)) The really light one is super nice. I can imagine it with a blackwood spinning mouthpiece.

@Lozo, 1st, welcome! Well, you're in a great position in that many going at it for the 1st time don't have luxury of having tried it. So, borrow it for a little longer (:p) while you do some reading on this thread into what you think you'd be happy with.

nice introduction.

"old school", yes, thats the word.
so simple yet elegant.

you dont really "need" other than an M.
But a Vong is nice when you want to pair with watertool and its nice to spin in your hands.
XL depends on the size of your hands and what feels natural to you.

Omni replaces the "flute playing" with the air-hole.
set it and forget it. but you can still use the air hole to block totally e.g. with bubbler use

TI tips are nice.
they are faster, better airflow and you can adjust the chamber to 100%, 50% and 25% percent of OG size.

Most of us started with an M.
pimped it with a Ti tip
or a XL condenser with spinning wooden mouthpiece.
than you could get a Vong body or stem.
by then You already have 3 configurations. its lego, man.
(M, Ti-M-XLS, Nonavong)

build what suits you and what is nice for you to look at.

@Lozo, ok, so you want an XL, something that's 109mm not 92mm. So you could either do an Omni XL or an XLS which consists of a 62mm stem midsection & a spinning mouthpiece on an XL condenser. If you want a piece that can be used with a 14mm joint on a bubbler without the need for an attachment, then you can consider a vong stem. I'm sure you already perused Dynavap's website. Just scrolling through this thread will bring up some great pics of different configurations which will help you hone in on what you like. Also do a search for vapcap & dynavap on youtube.

@Mr.Sifter, well, look at you, you've become quite the expert.

For real. Thought @Squiby may have hacked his account for a second.
Well done @Mr.Sifter
Sounds like your liking the Aomai single flame too. That's a great little torch.

@Summer Honestly in real life the darkwood looks like the same on the Dynavap's site, but yes it is a "light" darkwood anyway :p

@Taazokaan,

:p

The lightest one looks like it's even lighter than maple. Maybe I didn't get the light ones. :\ Doesn't matter, not important. :)

Oh, by the way SJF, I got the 18mm trumpet mp from TAG & just love it. So much so I went to get a backup & a 14mm one. And, yes, they had a free ship pop-up coupon both times. If I like it with the vong, I'll go back for another 14mm. It's all about glass insurance. :brow:

Been a heavy smoker over 15 years. Been almost a month since I smoked Thanks to My M. If I could go back and decide what my first dynavap would be id a chose the Omni XL. It's worth giving up all those years on something so awesome and why not spoil yourself a lil. It could be the last device you buy and it feels so natural to use after the long years of "lighting" up.

I’m actually an all Ti person. The only reason I have my M is for fitment testing. The SS tip holds too much heat for too long and I combust with it more easily. I like to run my Vapcaps very hot so the rapid cool down of the Ti tips is welcome. It acts as a “reset” between heat cycles that brings it back to nearly room temp. With the SS tip it could still be half way to vaping temps even when it clicks on the cool down.

I love my Ti fourth gen tips, they’re what I’m used to. I feel like I can get exactly the results I mean to get everytime.

Im having this weird problem with my Omni XL, i cleaned it today and now the screen is not tight, so i made it all flat again and whenever i warm my vapcap the screen will "pop out" of its place..

So i thought maybe i broke the screen somehow, so i took a brand new TI screen and same thing is happening.

I have been using this for months, why does this problem all of the sudden appear now?

Is it possible for the tip to "slightly" widen?
