So the v4 paired with a hydrotube is amazing. I’m experimenting with ruby pearls right now, but so far this thing provides large, smooth hits that don’t kill my throat at all.

The terps are definitely more prominent with this over everything except maybe a ruby dab, so I’m beyond happy with my purchase.

Also, the way the quartz bucket is attached to the donut is amazing!! I feel like it heats up better because of the quartz post that goes through the donut.

I can’t speak to the hydratube but I agree that the terpenes are very prominent with the V4, and even without water filtration the hits are tremendously cool. I’m completely smitten with this device.

Here here! Smitten indeed. It’s everything I was hoping it would be. Portable, powerful and super smooth. And the performance for the price, unreal. Well done Matt you really have a winner with the V4. A lot of your previous concepts came together wonderfully in this one. If you are into dabs at all this is a must.

Very sad I didn't ordered one asap, they are out of stock now... please Matt, when can I expect you'll restock the V4?

Looks like a winner!
I am getting 250 in stock this evening, I will be sending out another email this evening, if you email me personally I will send you the discount link they will be available tomorrow if DHL doesn’t mess this up

This IS my happy face..
Mine has been lost by the post office since last Friday....Probably just order another one after the 1st of August.
:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

joekar,
I am also thinking of trying one of these when they come back into stock but I have a couple questions.....

I have a Quartz Quest and I want to compare the 2.

1. Is the quartz cup on the V4 the same thickness as the Quartz Quest?

2. What is the pre-heat time for first dab?

3. The QQ gets REAL REAL hot under heavy use. How is the V4 under heavy use?

Thanks

Great, I ordered one V4 Crucible with a pair of LibertyV9 Ccell cart.

About carts, are they the same size than the classic Ccell?

damnit. every time i go months without checking in, the shit changes so fast! V4 looks pretty rad, but i cant find many pics of the crucible online.

is the donut inside the quartz cup floor?

and can the crucibles be purchased alone?

looking really nice from what i can tell so far.

The quartz cup sits on top of the donut and has a quartz rod attached that goes through the donut, which is then held in place by a cotter pin.

Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
I am back and forth on what I want to get. I have a new pico75 and am deciding on what atomizer would be best for me.

I tend to like my vapor in smaller doses over a few hits rather than one big blast. I have been vaping rosin through cotton in my herb vapes, but have had some practice with a DT V2.5. I don't like it when you lose oil because it flows under the donut, but I am also tired of dealing with sticky cotton.

I am tempted to jump on the excitement of the new V4 Quartz. I think I would love the easy clean up and the flavor, but worry that an enail experience would be too extreme for me. I have also been looking at the Jetstream with the SS coils. That looks like you can take several smaller hits, but then have the clean up and oil dripping under the coils issue.

Don't think so- wouldn't you need air to flow through the load?

Good point.

@divinetribe, it looks like if you took the V4, laser drilled some holes along the bottom of the cup, and added a screen solution to the top, it could be used as a dry herb vape. Would make stiff competition to the newly released Linx Eden.

I would definitley buy one just to try it.

Got tired of spending the whole day researching mod vapes. VAS was like an incessant mosquito. Bought the V4.

I am a lightweight when it comes to dabbing. What's the smallest amount you can use and still allow the V4 to function properly? I've read about using small amounts, such as a grain of rice. How about half a grain?

Maui Wowie people. I just got the V4 delivered today. Popped it on my Lost Vape Therion and set up a profile of nickel 200 TC mode 33W 500f, just like the little pamphlet says is the recommended settings.

Loaded up up some Cherry Cobbler Sauce and took one looooong rip. I pulsed it once when I started to feel it cooking. The whole time I wasn’t sure if I was getting much. But then my exhale was huge clouds. The craziest part is how smooth it was! It was one of the biggest rips I’ve ever taken on a portable dab device and it was so smooth I didn’t feel the need to cough one bit. That was nuts. There’s something to this vortex action. Flavor was obviously top notch since it’s quartz. And I haven’t put the quartz cup to the test yet, it’s only been one night, I’m excited to see how it does after prolonged use. Great FC deal and it even included an extra quartz bucket/ceramic heater.

Fantastic report @kuzko ! My package is already in the destination country in Europe and I ordered it last thursday!

After all this nice reports I'm eagerly awaiting my unit to be delivered... maybe tomorrow.

A question @divinetribe (not very important at all so don't waste your time if you are too busy): why did you call it Crucible? in my mind a crucible is a cup with holes in the bottom... HerbalAire uses crucibles and I think some others flowers vaporizers as well. I think this is may lead to some misunderstanding, isn't it?

Edit: just for infos, I asked about the size difference between the LibertyV9 Matt sells and the classic Ccell and it looks like the Liberty carts are a bit wider, I hope they will fit my Handies.

Well first dab off the QQ v4, and so far I like it :) ... I'm not sure Ni200/33w/500f is optimal for me (can't just hold the button without some burning), so will need to play with TCR some more!

.

A crucible is a vessel made from either metal or ceramic (quartz is a ceramic) that can be heated to a high temp to melt some other material inside of it. Definitely no holes involved in the bottom of a crucible. The molten liquid would leak out!

HerbalAire is misusing the term.

Went ahead and picked up a V4 from the discount link. Should be delivered today or tomorrow.
