Late to this party! A BFDC (Big Flat Dab Coil) in the Jet Stream. SS316l framed staples wire.

It's like a big Molecule - love it. The ceramic dish above is between a US penny and nickel in diameter.

Flavor and effects are top-notch. With the extra surface area on this biggest of BFDCs, the entire 25 mg dab is in the coil's sweet spot.

As a one hitter, also like the Pharoah with a BFDC. Prefer the bottom airflow, but the top airflow on the Jet Stream is implemented very well.

Looks like the one-hitter quest is reaching its happy conclusion. Looking forward to the next generation of dab attys!

hey guys really struggling with my dc2 dry herb vape. No matter how much i mess with stuff it reads .8-1.06 resistance. Is this normal? My stempod reads .23 on my box mod.... Is my dc2 bad? My box mod has been acting up so it could be bad.

Really just wanna get this working. Let me know if yall have any tips.

Is your problem only around the resistance reading? This atty has a small gauge element. Smaller gauge means higher resistance, you can't compare that to your stempod (which on top of that has 2 coils in parallel, thus halving the total resistance)

Also it doesn't support as much power. In fact if you were to use at 50W like some folks do with the stempod, Splinter and even the Imp, you would likely fry your heating element. I'd recommend using only TC mode, not power mode.

Lastly it's a conduction device, not a convection one. You need to heat soak the atty and overcome the ceramic low thermal conductivity. It's slower to heat and requires softer and shorter draws.

Thanks so much! I've tried wattage on 30 watts and temp mode(Ni) at 370 and 30 watts and it never got past 158 degrees when preheating no matter how long i hold it. (My current box mod doesn't have tcr)

I have a mini evic arriving tomorrow hoping it fixes the issues.

Very happy to hear about the V4!! I just broke and reordered the glass cap for my QQ, I almost just bought a new one but I knew the V4 would be out soon!

QQ is still my favorite way to use concentrates. I just moved to a legal state and it has gotten more use than everything else besides my nano.

Hahah holy shit, the DC2 is awesome. I've got it atop a Pico 21700 running the latest ArcticFox firmware. It's all dialed in and runs beautifully. The flavour is pretty great; I'm surprised a conduction vape can actually offer pretty wicked flavour, even up to 215°C!

I do have a question though. How long is it safe to run the heater for? I've got my timeout set to 25s just to be safe but if I can run it longer without a rest, that'd bring this thing up even more in my books! :D

Edit: I've got my TCR set to 300 and my resistance locked to 0.714. Another DC2's resistance might be slightly different from mine though so just go with the cold reading.

Only issue I had with running mine longer is my mod overheating, if yours doesn't over heat and your temp control is working properly I can't see any reason why you shouldn't be able to get a session out of it!

Matt...?? FC guys/gals help

http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/wax-shatter-budder-vape-or-rig.40665/#post-1386588

See thread, about to pull trigger on a -

https://ineedhemp.com/product/eleaf...nut-atomizer-sony-vtc6/?attribute_color=Black

Based off the thread, I believe this atomizer w box mod is the best route ??

Will the Pico accept a e cig tank when I get lazy??

I subscribed for mailing n discounts but I do not know too much about vapes, ecig, coils, batts, etc

Just looking for a confirmation on what I think

Went ahead and ordered a v4 with an 18mm drip tip. I am super excited to get this thing in and to test it thoroughly! Looks like the QQ meets the Puffco Peak.

@divinetribe is it possible to put a full ceramic disc in like those used in the peak atomizers, or does it have to be the donuts you included?

Just ordered a v4! I got it with the 14mm WPA because I want to pair it with some glass. The hydro tube DT sells looks amazing but is more than I want to spend at the moment. Would something like the Sneaky Pete Scorpion work well instead or is there another good less expensive option?

The Scorpion would probably work pretty well since you don’t want much diffusion with oil.

This may sound like a dumb question but is there any reason why something like the V4 couldn't be used (cautiously) with dry herb as a quartz conduction vape?

I realize too much heat would combust but with the right settings and discipline with firing, would it work?

Don't think so- wouldn't you need air to flow through the load?

Got my V4 today. It feels like a significant step up from the 3.5 to me. The metal housing is easier to handle than the ceramic of the 3.5 and having the mouthpiece hot swappable with o-rings is an inspired touch.

I got a 14mm WPA with it and ran it through the Sneaky Pete Scorpion. The Scorpion did an okay job of cooling the vapor and what really impressed me was the purity and intensity of the flavor. Even though the 3.5 and 4 use the same heater, the quartz bowl in the 4 elevates the experience tremendously.

I used the 3.5 sparingly. It wasn’t as easy or convenient as the Dynacoil or just using carts and the short vapor path led to hot, harsh hits. I never got a WPA for it, maybe that brings the two closer to parity. Given the improvements of the metal housing of the 4, the improved flavor and ease of cleaning the quartz bowl, the V4 is going to be my primary dabbing device.

I should also mention that one small bead of Durban Poison, dabbed in one hit, has got me knocked on my ass for hours. This is the real deal and a steal for the price. Buying this saved me hundreds of dollars not buying a dedicated concentrate rig. The only improvement I could imagine would be to get the hydratube, which I may do down the line as this device is worth buying a glass piece just for it.

DC Gen 2 dry herb users out there - what do you prefer? New Arcticfox firmware with 1 minute cruise, Sur_myEvic, or Tubo firmware? Also what settings you all running? Is running too many watts on bad at all for the atomizer?

Thank!
