I feel that the DV is a direct upgrade to the NO2. IMO it's an NO2 in a much nicer package.
Argh... After some toying with the oil cans, I realize how they work and how dumb my last question must have seemed... So let me rephrase a bit..
Has anyone tried using the oil can with herb via placing it directly in the bowl without the top piece of it on? I understand this may cause more convection than normally would happen but keeping the bowl clean while out and about would be a major plus!
The Oil Cans were a bit of a disappointment to begin with and I could only get the faintest puffs of vapour. As stated above I really think it’s a waste using them for herb. The ‘oven’ effect is magnified in the Oil Can and I found that my herb was getting scorched rapidly. Even with the silicone top off the herb is cooked rapidly and little vapour is produced. I posted a video previously for a few mods on the oil cans to get them working more effectively.
Early on, many of us came to the conclusion that both putting herbs in the oil can and in the top chamber was ineffective. I believe we all experienced the same browning of the herbs but minimal vapor being produced. If you guys are looking for a better way to use thecans for oil, I suggest JRR's oil can mod found early on in the thread. It helps a lot in my opinion. This was the thing I was referring too. Maybe you are right that they are talking about it being in the upper chamber?
It is a really cool vape , but this mysterious vapor drives me crazy...Thanks to those of you being volunteers and early adopters. I had a bad feeling about this vape but after these videos and reports I'm confident that this vape does not live up to my safety standards.

I would definitely discontinue use. I have never seen a vape do that when empty...not normal. That being said, make sure there is absolutely no residue from your flowers that is getting vaped. I have gotten vapor from an empty bowl before when drawing simply because of the honey buildup in there. But a plastic smell would lead me to believe this is not the issue.
